I had a CVST in 2019. My entire venous system was pretty much blocked. I blacked out for a week before my roommate came home one day to me naked on the living room floor after falling. Her sister called an ambulance and miraculously I’m still here today.

And it can happen at any age! We have this thing in our society where ill health is seen as an elderly thing but it's absolutely not. Thanks for the video, it helps a lot 🙏

The FAST mnemonic Didn't help me because I didn't have any of the Typical symptoms of a Stroke. I Just had a massive headache and kept being sick. It wasn't until I developed double vision that they found swelling in the optic discs and realised something was really wrong. I also have some trouble balancing and walk with a cane now. I was only 22 when it First occurred. I've had two Clots and am now on Warfarin for Life. I'm 26.

How long did you have the headache for? I have had a headache for 2 months already and I have had an MRI and a CT scan and they come back normal but I do have blur vision and the headache is there every day all day

@@veronicamontes6837 It happened gradually for me. It started as inner ear pain, which I had for a week, then out of the blue, it turned into a sudden severe headache and vomiting. I had that for about a week before my vision became doubled. I found that when I tried to focus on one thing, it kept splitting off and then everything was doubled. I went to an optician who found swelling in the optic discs and sent me to Hospital, where I had a CT which didn't find anything. Then I had an MRI the next day, which found the Cerebral Venus Sinus Thrombosis. After they knew what it was, the usual scan they would give me would be a CT Venogram, which is where they put a dye into your bloodstream and lights it up on the scan. It can see things that a normal CT can't. If you think you might have something similar, it's a good scan to have. I hope that helps.

I had a cvst with a bilateral infarction in 2014. I was 46. I have no memory of. most of 2013 absolutely no memory of 2014 ( year of the stroke) then right on through half of 2015 ( only then after nueropsych testing upon given the results was I was like what happened to me. They had to explain to me what happened. I have suffered from migraine since I was 15. But they tell me I was complaining of really bad migraines ( again I have no memory of this) I actually they tell me went to the er 1 week before the stroke n they sent me home with Vicodin apparently. Only 1 week later I had the stroke. I have loads of issues such as short term memory loss, I have blackouts n have no memory of them until something doesn’t add up. I have balance problem n sometime speech. Now some of the issues I have are from thalamus infarction. I can no longer drive. I also should mention. developed a form of epilepsy called partial epilepsy. Basically I’m a hot mess. I’m actually having a 96 hour eeg at my home next week. Basically all of that has robbed me of a lot of my life.

What are your thoughts about the link of J&J vaccines and the blood clots out of curiosity? I was contemplating getting the J&J but now I am thinking I may go Pfizer...

I had the Pfizer. I've heard that's the better option for People with blood conditions but they will ask you if you're on blood thinners.
