You'll watch an entire Netflix show even when the first episodes are slow and boring just because someone told you "it gets better." *But what if you looked at your goals like that and watched your life get better instead?*

This is so amazing!!! Please keep up with your videos Holly, I really want to learn more about the whole cancer and biology thing in general. I'm planning to study Biomedical Sciences for my uni and watching your videos and feeling your passion for biology really make me want to go straight to uni to learn all about them.

Thank you for educating us, Holly. Cancer is a personal topic to me, since I lost a relative to a malignant cancer. I personally think everyone needs to know at least the basics of cancer - even though it is the least of my wish that anybody or their family member gets cancer. Cancers are very painful, especially in its last malignant stage (aka the stage 4 of cancer). The knowledge of cancers therefore is very important. I know that you always need to go to medical professionals to consult, but can you make a video on cancer prevention? I feel like cancer prevention should be general knowledge! P.S: I'm a non-STEM student, a graduate of a social sciences major, but I have never stopped loving biology. It was my favorite subject in middle school (I didn't get to study it in high school either), and continues to be a favorite science subject of mine, even though I had never had the chance to formally learn it anymore.

no worries at all - i love sharing biology with you guys! i am sorry to hear that, but i agree. knowing about cancer is very important. making a video about cancer prevention is also a great idea and it is something i can definitely talk about in the future! also, ahhh that is so amazing to hear that your love for biology is still so strong! i hope this channel helps to keep you learning the subject then! i've also always had a passion for geography and english (i mean, all subjects really haha) but i chose the science route obviously when i went to university! have a great day, monika!

Hi, I have been a fan of yours recently and I have to say your channel really helps me out a lot, especially gives me a great deal of inspiration into Biology. I hope that you could do a video into Neurology since I find this topic particularly interesting. Thank you very much for your videos, it's enlightening watching your vlogs. 😇😇😇

Hi. Thanks for your clear video. It appeared so high on my play list, well done! I have been watching videos by Thomas Seyfried, author of the metabolic theory of cancer. His work focuses on point 10 of your hallmarks. He reverses the order of disease generation from your account, putting mitochondrial malfunction and fermentation as the case of DNA mutations via reactive oxygen species. He is clearly fairly brilliant and also pretty disgruntled with the low level of uptake of his ideas , especially metabolic therapy for cancer. What has been your experience of this debate in your training and your personal reading? Could you make a video about this issue? Is there room for a paradigm shift on cancer away from genes to metabolism? Do his many KZread videos underpkay the weaknesses of his own theory? Is he right to feel that inertia and ignorance in the cancer research community is failing patients? (See, for example, his crossfire lecture and recent interview with holistic practicioner Judy) Many thanks. I would be so interested and grateful if you did a deep dive into this topic

One of the reasons we haven't cured cancer. Is because they don't found it early and deal with it before it spreed's. Why haven't they cured going bald ?
