Common Questions:
What are the bins - The bins is another term for Goodwill Outlet. It's where unprocessed and overflow merchandise goes for Goodwill and you pay per pound for the items. (You can find one in most major cities)
What do you do for a living - I resell clothing - vintage and modern. Mostly finding clothes from the bins and thrift stores. Things that have been tossed aside and are about to be sent to the landfill.
Where do you sell your clothes - eBay, Poshmark and in the past etsy. But currently most of my focus is on eBay.

I appreciated your comment on swapping between girly and androgynous/“masculine” style. I have been feeling less “girly” bc of my style choices lately. But my style choices don’t make me any less womanly/girly. We wear what we find fashionable or like for the day/week/month/period of our life. We should wear what we want when we want. I like your little info/perspectives you give with fashion!

Ma’am! These romantic vibes with that black dress and the soft hair!!!! 😭💛. *chef’s kiss* you look so lovely. Currently looooooving this balletcore trend. Bought an actual ballet bodysuit years ago with a super open back. It’s my favorite ‘top’ and it’s so supportive as well. Thanks for inspiring me to go out and pair it with a skirt!

@@lauravonv - Fun how cyclic fashion is- I was wearing the same style the OP described in the late 70s-early through late 80s! Love your finds! Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️ PS did you pickup that pink satin waist cincher? If so I’m interested depending on size! 😘

I wanna give some ideas based on what I wear: If you like to go barefoot then ballerina flats are very similar, I love, so I do. If you are the kind that hates the hassle of getting rid of body hair you can use long quality socks. You can keep a small bag always packed with the essencials: no forgeting stuff in pockets and ending up in the washing machine. If you like skirts wrap skirts (aka ballet skirts) are quite easy to sew, you can sew longuer ones with see trought cotton fabric if you put 2 layers. If you wanna a winter wardrobe just add peticoats and wool socks. Pashminas and broches are just classic and lightweight way to stay warm while not too warm. Gloves and parasols may seem outdated, but hear me out: sunscreen its suposed to be applied every two hours and gloves help keep your hands clean and protected (bonus: you can wear fancy or long ones for a dramatuc effect). Also, as a side mention sunglasses, hats and handfans can be quite useful oudoors. Now you can rock your vintage ballerina vibe.

Another Gr8 video Laura! Personally, I gravitate to ballet items. We recently sold an 80s vintage green satin ,black lace and tulle ballet dress. Such a fun trend! p.s. Hi to Lucy!

Great video, I don't know if balletcore is a trend in UK yet, it's the kind of thing I would have worn a few years ago, I love the western skirt and cut out bodysuit, such a lot of great finds.
