A familiar spirit is a spiritual equal or partner of an occultist. This being is either an animal or a spirit is unusual psychic & shares intelligent qualities with its human counterpart. It is not just a pet but a created being for the Will of the user.
Familiar is a spirit from the occult believed to dwell within the physical body of an animal or creature. The vessels used by such spirits include cat, mouse, ferret, hare, bat, snake, hound, or birds particularly raven or owl.
A familiar spirit commonly called familiar, or imp is a spirit which obeys a witch, conjurer, etc., and serves and helps that person. Although they may not be as intelligent as their masters, they are often as smart as the average human.
Familiar spirits are a spirit partner or equal that is used by a spiritist or occult. We shall consider the nature of familiars and why people have familiars.
