Honestly, this video doesn't explain anything. 5G is faster than 4G is essentially what they spent 5 mins saying.

alvin trieu I agree. I tried understanding what he was saying and I’m pretty tech savvy, but he kept using marketing buzzwords like “the cloud” and “infrastructure” that doesn’t really mean anything. He basically spent 5 minute trying to say 5G will have lower latency and faster speed.

Yeah, explained almost nothing. What 5g is to do is also greatly increase the number of devices reached within an area, such as a city block. To do that you have many more transmitters on a single tower. However they have to use frequencies that are somewhat weaker but that have a capacity to split up to carry many more devices. Because of their weakness the towers must be closer to you to get to you and/or travel through walls. Basically each device will have its own personal tower. This will allow you to wirelessly comunicate with tons more devices. Smart thermastates, watches, phones, cars, coffee makers, VR headsets, etc. Called The internet of things. Current towers and frequecies used simply can't handle such loads. That is my understanding of it.

I own my own company that do the 5G installs. The inaccuracies in this video are astounding. The large self support towers with antennas they repeatedly show are 3G and 4G. 5G antennas go on poles at a maximum height of 38’. The frequency is higher concentrated, therefore the distance it’s able to reach is much less. That’s just one of numerous things they brought up that are not true.

I have written a lengthy document listing 16 areas of concern related to the rollout of 5G. The claim that non-ionizing radiation only produce thermal effects is, simply put, not true at all. Despite what some say, there are in fact at least a couple of thousands peer-reviewed studies showing very significant negative biological effects of non-ionizing RF-radiation. You can find links to the studies in the full document. When I tried to post links, a longer text and use paragraphs KZread didn’t let me comment so the solution was to post it in the description of the only video on my channel. You can find the full document by clicking on my channel. Some of the topics / areas of concern: An astounding lack of studies on the health effects of 5G, the studies that has been done show harmful effects - Thermal vs non-thermal effects, studies on EMF-effects on humans, insects, plants and animals - The two biggest studies to date show clear negative effects from exposure to EMFs - Appeal from 250+ EMF-scientists. Potential conflicts of interest and other major issues within the agencies that set the standards - Our sweat ducts and eyes act as antennas for 5G-radiation - Potential effects of EMF and millimeter-waves on the cell’s mitochondria - Push for AI-integration - Security and privacy issues

Apparently, it's possible to post links here in the comment section! Link to the full document: docs.google.com/document/d/1L9jEFSIUW5S-bsgtFkVaOtOFA-QJSE8x57H8ABkPtNo/edit?usp=sharing Link to the document without introduction and final words (only the list of 16 areas of concern): docs.google.com/document/d/1SNwE8aNbhtIZvsZuWSF_w9UfEXwFGL2vxlnNbr-Al6g/edit?usp=sharing Below you can find the beginning of the document which includes links to 8 compilations and reviews of peer-reviewed studies (each one referencing between 500-3000 studies) showing harmful biological effects from non-ionizing RF-radiation. It's not only about power. There are multiple potential mechanisms of harm. While non-ionizing radiation isn’t strong enough to break chemical bonds, it is proven that low-intensity non-ionizing RF-radiation results in other harmful effects on biological systems. I'm not saying it will kill us all, or something like that, of course not. But it's a slow burn and we should all be mindful of our exposure, just like we should be mindful with too much sugar, carbs, alcohol, PUFAs etc. Stating that it's perfectly safe to expose oneself 24/7 is not very responsible. Also parts of the population seem to be MUCH more sensitive to the frequencies (EHS). We need to balance our time indoors and our use of technology with being in nature, in the sun and walking barefoot / grounding to discharge. Much more in the full document, which can be found in the description of the video on my channel. 1. Health Effects of 5G The health effects of 5G have not been studied enough. Actually, they have barely been studied at all and the studies that have been done are far from reassuring. No large-scale studies have taken place before the rollout of the technology. This in itself, is of course completely outrageous. At the very least, it violates basic human rights against mass population experimentation. www.blumenthal.senate.gov/newsroom/press/release/at-senate-commerce-hearing-blumenthal-raises-concerns-on-5g-wireless-technologys-potential-health-risks Review some of the studies that has been done on milli-meter waves (the coming frequencies that will be used for 5G) - These preliminary studies show clear adverse health effects: “Preliminary observations showed that MMW increase skin temperature, alter gene expression, promote cellular proliferation and synthesis of proteins linked with oxidative stress, inflammatory and metabolic processes, could generate ocular damages, affect neuro-muscular dynamics.” pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29402696/ 2. Studies on different wireless technologies 2G, 3G, Wi-fi and the radiation from current cell towers etc. have been studied to different extents (see point 3 below) with very mixed results. There is currently no clear scientific consensus as claimed by certain regulatory bodies. As with scientific research on other environmental pollutants, EMF research is complex and contains inconsistencies; some studies show very significant negative effects while others are showing no effects, depending on what kind effects were being studied. 4G on the other hand hasn’t been studied very much at all (!) and with 5G “we are flying blind”. Excerpt from Scientific American, “we have no reason to believe 5G is safe”: “Since 5G is a new technology, there is no research on health effects, so we are “flying blind” to quote a U.S. senator. However, we have considerable evidence about the harmful effects of 2G and 3G. Little is known of the effects of exposure to 4G, a 10-year-old technology, because governments have been remiss in funding this research.” blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/we-have-no-reason-to-believe-5g-is-safe/ 3. Thermal Effects vs Non-Thermal Effects - Studies on EMF-effects on humans, insects, plants and larger animals The claim that there are only thermal effects from non-ionizing radiation is simply put, not true at all. Despite what some say, there are in fact at least a couple of thousands peer-reviewed studies from credible sources showing significant negative biological effects of non-ionizing RF-radiation. On this website you can find a very good summary of much of the research that has been done, I highly recommend checking it out: ehtrust.org/science/research-on-wireless-health-effects/ ehtrust.org/scientific-research-on-5g-and-health/ One of the best papers written arguing against 5G, by ORSAA - Oceania Radiofrequency Scientific Advisory Association (ORSAA): ORSAA submission to ICNIRP - “Inquiry into 5G mobile telephony” www.orsaa.org/uploads/6/7/7/9/67791943/orsaa_submission_to_5g_inquiry_oct__2019_final_v2.pdf ORSAA database with more than 3000 studies: n431.fmphost.com/fmi/webd#Research_Review_V4 Link to more than 500 peer-reviewed studies showing harmful health effects and biological effects: drive.google.com/file/d/19CbWmdGTnnW1iZ9pxlxq1ssAdYl3Eur3/view An evaluation of 2266 studies from one of the world’s oldest and most well-known general science journals showed that 68,2% of the studies demonstrated significant biological or health effects: “A recent evaluation of 2266 studies (including in-vitro and in-vivo studies in human, animal, and plant experimental systems and population studies) found that most studies (n=1546, 68·2%) have demonstrated significant biological or health effects associated with exposure to anthropogenic electromagnetic fields." www.thelancet.com/journals/lanplh/article/PIIS2542-5196(18)30221-3/fulltext Appeal to stop 5G on earth and in space, with links to a couple of thousands of studies on health effects and effects on insects, plants and animals: www.5gspaceappeal.org/the-appeal#fn10b New Hampshire Report (Nov. 1 2020) - Documents Scientific Evidence That Questions the Safety of 5G “President of the Senate Donna Soucy summarizing its findings that safety assurances for 5G have “come into question because of the thousands of peer-reviewed studies documenting deleterious health effects associated with cellphone radiation exposure.” “The report referred to the FCC as a “captured agency with undue industry influence,” citing the Harvard Press Book “Captured Agency: How the Federal Communications Commission is Dominated by the Industries it Presumably Regulates,” which compares the wireless industry to the tobacco industry.” “The FCC and FDA did not respond to the Commission’s request for testimony, and the FDA did not fully answer the Commission’s questions. Yet the expert panel chose to ignore it.” “There is a discussion of the NTP findings in last year’s Swedish (ICNIOR) update. But that was based on an earlier NTP draft where the staff had opted for a weaker designation, “some evidence” of cancer. Later, after an in-depth public peer review, the NTP strengthened the conclusion to “clear evidence” of cancer. That was the headline news of 2018. “Clear evidence” was a game changer; leaving it out of the annual update is a sure sign of bias. The NTP conclusion was now qualitatively different from the earlier draft -it could well have been the title of the panel’s 2018 update. But van Rongen, Röösli and the others ignored it.” ehtrust.org/science/myth-vs-fact-national-toxicology-program-cell-phone-cancer-study/ No matter the mechanisms (more about the potential mechanisms later in this comment), the number studies that show biological effects is increasing week by week, month by month. The question is not if it has an effect, the question is how much of an effect. Comparing visible light with man-made EMFs only in terms of wave-length (the visible light from the sun vs non-ionizing radiation) shows a complete lack of understanding of physics and its relation to biochemistry and quantum biology. We evolved under sunlight under millions of years. Our bodies, all animals and all plants are adapted to those frequencies. In fact, they are key to our very existence. The sun is healthy and are key to an array of biochemical and hormonal processes in the body. If you want to dive deep into the science of sunlight and quantum biology, I recommend you to check out neurosurgeon and quantum biologist Jack Kruse: kzread.info?search_query=jack+kruse The two main suggested mechanisms that non-ionizing radiation affects biological systems are through oxidative stress “A 2019 literature review “Oxidative mechanisms of biological activity of low-intensity radiofrequency radiation” found that 93 of the 100 peer-reviewed studies dealing with oxidative effects of low-intensity RFR, confirmed that RFR induces oxidative effects in biological systems. “ ehtrust.org/science/research-on-wireless-health-effects/ “We have published our preliminary data on radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation, which shows that 89% (216 of 242) of experimental studies that investigated oxidative stress endpoints showed significant effects.” www.thelancet.com/journals/lanplh/article/PIIS2542-5196(18)30221-3/fulltext and through influencing the bodies natural EMF fields - impacting quantum biological processes in the cells. Present-day Electromagnetic fields disrupt quantum signaling of coherence, non-locality, and electron tunneling by altering time in our cells. “ You can read more about this here: jackkruse.com/emf-5-what-are-the-biologic-effects-of-emf/

@@JonathanLit Let’s trust the experts, shall we? Are these EMF-scientists who has published more than 2000 papers and letters on EMF in professional journals also fake? Just sharing unfounded conspiracy theories? More than 250 EMF-scientists have signed an appeal and sent it to the UN calling for, among other things, a revision of the current international guidelines regarding EMFs. “The International EMF Scientist Appeal serves as a credible and influential voice from EMF (electromagnetic field) scientists who are urgently calling upon the United Nations and its sub-organizations, the WHO and UNEP, and all U.N. Member States, for greater health protection on EMF exposure.” www.emfscientist.org/ “The scientists who signed this appeal arguably constitute the majority of experts on the effects of nonionizing radiation. They have published more than 2,000 papers and letters on EMF in professional journals.” blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/we-have-no-reason-to-believe-5g-is-safe/ And not the 15 or so who are interwoven with industry right… that would be kinda stupid… Below you can find point 7 from my document about industry influence, conflicts of interests and other major issues within the agencies that advise us about the standards. (especially check out the 98-page report from EU parliament members Klaus Buchner and Michèle Rivasi) The scientists within the organizations that inform the current standards, argue that they are enough and say that there is no reason to believe 5G causes any harm (without pointing to any studies to back it up) are in comparison very few. What is called “global consensus” is in fact only “ICNIRP-consensus”. “ICNIRP is a German-registered association which, soon after its inception in 1992, became the actual standard-setter of radiation limits. Most European governments - and WHO, the World Health Organization - refer to ICNIRP’s guidelines in their national radiation exposure limits.” There are some very significant issues within these organizations: • The members of these organizations are a very close-knit group as can be seen here: www.kumu.io/Investigate-Europe/the-scientists-and-the-organisations#conflict-of-interest • There is no representation of any scientists that raise concerns about EMFs: • All of them are appointed internally “ICNIRP is not open to any professional interested. Members of its scientific committee are appointed. None who claims there is sufficient scientific material to lower safety standards are represented.” • There seems to be a conflict of interest among some of its members: 98-page report from two members of the European Parliament, Klaus Buchner and Michèle Rivasi: “The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection: Conflicts of interest ,corporate capture and the push for 5G” klaus-buchner.eu/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/ICNIRP-report-FINAL-19-JUNE-2020.pdf “This report deals with an issue of which the importance cannot be overrated: the possible health effects of Radiofrequency Radiation (RfR) or electro magnetic fields (EMF); It deals more specifically with how the scientific debate has been hijacked by corporate interests from the Telecom industry.” Dariusz Leszczynski, PHD, DSC writes: “In my two blog posts, ‘ICNIRP did it again…’ and ‘Mike Repacholi responds to ICNIRP did it again…’, I presented several reasons why the current modus operandi of ICNIRP is prone to provide unreliable and skewed evaluation of the scientific evidence on EMF and health. I was strongly opposed by Mike Repacholi, Chairman Emeritus of the ICNIRP, scientist who is responsible for the “birth” of this organization. In my opinion the major problems of ICNIRP are: • it is a “private club” where members elect new members without need to justify selection • lack of accountability before anyone • lack of transparency of their activities • complete lack of supervision of its activities • skewed science evaluation because of the close similarity of the opinions of all members of the Main Commission and all of the other scientists selected as advisors to the Main Commission.” betweenrockandhardplace.wordpress.com/2016/04/08/is-icnirp-reliable-enough-to-dictate-meaning-of-science-to-the-governmental-risk-regulators/ Recent article by Darius Leszczynski, from September 2020: betweenrockandhardplace.wordpress.com/2020/09/08/leszczynski-there-is-something-utterly-wrong-with-the-icnirp-membership/ The organization that the US FCC base their recommendations on: “The IEEE-ICES is a slam-dunk case for the conflict-of-interest.” “The safety limits developed by IEEE-ICES are designed by engineers working for the wireless telecommunications industry. Voting in this group on proposed safety limits is just a sham because telecom engineers vote on proposal prepared by the same telecom engineers. The telecom engineers always have the majority within IEEE-ICES. So, how trustworthy are these safety limits? In summary, IEEE-ICES safety guidelines are prepared by industry engineers and approved by industry engineers who later implement them in their own industries as reliable and solely science-based and industry-independent safety guidelines.” betweenrockandhardplace.wordpress.com/2020/04/08/pall-firstenberg-and-the-silent-enablers-are-responsible-for-the-current-5g-storm/ More resources about how industry funding influence research on RF-radiation and concerns about ICNIRP, FCC and the FDA: “Scientific analyses show industry funding can and does influence research on radiofrequency radiation. Please take the time to review these studies and to review the documentation provided by experts. This webpage has published citations on the influence of industry and vested interests.”: ehtrust.org/science/research-industry-influence-emfs/ “Some researchers have tried to study how conclusions on EMF radiation and health correspond with source of funding. In at least three such exercises by different people, in 2006, 2007 and 2017, the pattern was the same: The likelihood that industry-funded studies would find cause for concern, was dramatically smaller than in studies that were not industry-funded.” www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1797826/ www.seattlemag.com/article/uw-scientist-henry-lai-makes-waves-cell-phone-industry www.orsaa.org/latest-news/is-icnirp-a-closed-club ”Doubt is our product since it is the best means of competing with the “body of fact” that exists in the minds of the general public. It is also the means of establishing a controversy.” Tobacco executive (22) in Doubt is Our Product by David Michaels” mdsafetech.org/problems/industry-influence-in-science/ I suggest that you read some of what’s been referenced above and decide for yourself if the whole world should trust these people blindly without question and base their decisions about such an important issue based solely on their recommendations.

I have nothing against progress and technology but there is tons of information on the internet of how 5G can be extreamely dangerous to our health by having a direct effect on the body's DNA. Recently I had noticed that my dog's behavior and personalty had changed drastically. I couldn't find an answer to it and I knew she wasn't sick but she was off in a a big way. Normally my dog follows me into every room in the house and she was comfortable wherever she was until 5G. She suddenly began fearing something. She would dash across the room or wait to cross the room but seemed afraid to. There was also signs of confusion meaning she wouldn't know which way to head. I had no idea what was going on. Then it occurred to me to unplug the router. Now I turn on the router whenever I need to use an electronic device and since most of the time I keep it unplugged the dog has returned to her normal self.

Every next generation wireless broadband technology overpromises and under delivers. The real issue here is that you have almost infinite user demand for bandwidth and finite capacity. With a few million users on the network it will all grind down to 1-2Mbps. All we see here is speed tests and latency measures in an ideal network condition with zero network congestion which is hardly the case once the network is deployed.

Important to note here that 5G isn't one thing, there are 3 variations. Low, mid and high band 5G. Highband offers the ultra low pings and 1Gbps+ speeds, but it requires perfect LOS of the tower and within 50m. Simply put highband is not what most people will ever get. Even when 5G fully rolls out, you might only get highband in very busy public areas or on certain university campuses. No, the real action is 5G midband, which still offers respectable speeds from 100mbps to 900mbps and has far better range (up to 5km) and much more forgiving to obstacles and weather. This is what most people living in Urban areas will get to experience when 5G rolls out and this is still very decent and better than 4G. Then there's lowband, which ranges from 30-100mbps. While better than nothing it is the same or worse than 4GLTE+. Unfortunately this is the kind of offering you're going to see when you are living in smaller cities or municipalities where they don't deem an infrastructure upgrade cost effective. In other words 70% of us will get to experience this "5G".

In 1993 the wireless industry was sued multiple times for harm of health. This led insurance companies to no longer insure the wireless industry. It also led them to come up with a perfect infrastructure so they couldn't be sued. The wireless lobbyist took the right to legislate from health effect agencies, such as the EPA, FDA, and FCC. The FCC is a captured agency. A 2015 report done by Harvard university shows how the FCC is completely ruled by the wireless industry. The previous chairman of the FCC is Tom Wheeler. Tom Wheeler was the head of the telecom lobbyist association for 14 years. During the Obama administration Ton Wheeler was appointed head of FCC. The current FCC chairman is Ajit Pai who is a verizon wireless attorney. The current Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) was a previous FCC commissioner. In 1993 the FCC started a rule to adopt the regulations of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This is made up of engineers who study electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) and how they penetrate walls and other infrastructure, wherever they do not study the health effects on the human body. In fact, there isn't a single biomedical professional on the IEEE research team, that would study the effects of EMF radiation on the human body. Section 704 of the telecommunications act of 1996 was passed in favor of the Wallace industry. This is how our rights in regard to health regulations have been given to the Wallace industry who are in charge of the FCC. This gave the power to the Wallace industry to regulate health effects under the name of the FCC. Not one bio-medical professional was on the team when the FCC adopted the IEEE guidelines, despite over 5000 studies that proved harmful effects of this technology. They stripped the power from the state and federal law to regulate the location of any cell towers/antennas. Meaning if the Wallace industry(FCC) want a cell tower right outside your window they can do so, and you, the state, and the federal law have no say in the matter. Only the FCC (Wallace industry) has control over it. With the section 704 of the FCC handbook they took the right to vote for these technologies away from the city, state, and federal government. Secton 704 says if application of request is denied by the city, the city then can be sued by the Wallace industries(FCC). This is violation to our first amendment right, the right to protest this technology and also violation by Punishing free speech because the city may be sued if the health concerns were spoken about. Why does the FCC (Wallace industry) want to avoid questions regarding health effects of EMF? The answer is simple the FCC is set up like a fox guarding the hen house with self interest of the Wallace industry as the main objective with no regard for public health and safety. The wireless industry is self-insured for the simple fact that insurance companies wont insure the wireless industry because of the known risks of EMF radiation on carbon life. Not even secondary insurance companies such as Loyds of London will insure the wireless industry. The FCC is able to prevent lawsuits regarding secton 704 by taking our rights to address them in state or federal court. Even third upheld court decisions cannot sue for damages caused by EMF radiation, due to self-conflict of the Section 704. The people have zero rights to address the law regarding public health concerns of EMF radiation due to the fact FCC (Wallace industries) control the safety regulations. This is why there is no way to sue the wireless industry. This in violation of our 5th Amendment (due process rights). Over 200 studies showed that EMF radiation can cause oxidative stress, which leads to cancer, and DNA damages. One solution would be to hard wire with fiber optic rather than 5G wireless. The only reason 5G is allowed by the FCC is so the Wallace industry can sell data which is projected to make then anywhere from 4-11trillion dollars per year. Special thanks to Dafna tachover for more evidence for me to look into.

Why aren’t they discussing the health risks? The amount of radiation omitted by these devices is ridiculous and extremely irresponsible of the government to put these up in residential areas.

A 5G antenna at the high frequency side will use lower than 1 W of power. Of course there will be much more of them but the overall radiation will be similar to 4G. So no, the radiation omitted by these devices is not ridiculous.

Cables aren’t obsolete! Cables downloads are faster than wireless along with less interference. And if the internet of things grows, the easier it is for hackers

4G is fast enough for consumers like us who use KZread and basic smart phone apps. If we want a future of self-driving cars, smart machines and robots which can work efficiently then 5G is necessary.

I'd like to see some deeper discussion into what this technology will bring, in terms of risks and dangers, not simply costs. What kind of opportunities does such low latency offer to large companies and agencies who are capable of tracking our movements in realtime, for example? This is the type of discussion we should be having, rather than rushing headfirst into a such a powerful new tech.

Can our biologies take the surge in radio waves or will the increase leave us with internal growths we could really do without? It does bring closer to reality flying taxi services in the inner city, but will these be autonomous, or won’t they be?

  • @jairo9540

This topic always irritates me- mainly because I know a lot about the topic and live in a backwards science hating bumpkin country- but radio waves absolutely do not hurt you. Nor do microwaves. Standing next to one or a phone will NOT give you cancer. Radiation is all around us and it’s not all bad. The 5G towers they are installing will do absolutely nothing damaging towards human biology in terms of their signals. Radiation that damages humans is called ionizing radiation, and radio waves are on the exact opposite of the spectrum to the type of radiation that truly would give you cancer if you were blasted with it.
