This is the wildest reaction to Voiceplay that I have ever seen. I watched it 2 times. If you are looking for more Voiceplay I suggest Seven Nation Army, In Te Air Tonight, or their newest (at this time) What do we do with a Drunken Sailor. If you are a gamer they did a great Skyrim and Halo cover as well.

Welcome to the Voiceplay rabbit hole. They will all blow your mind from heavy rock to heart wrenching to hysterical. And lots of Disney and games. They are based in Orlando and they have worked in the parks over the years. Layne (beatbox) and Geoff (bass) do most of the arrangements and Eli (pronounced Ellie rock tenor) does the lighting and the occasional arrangement. These height-related comments rather get to me. I am the smallest one in my bio family. They are all 6' and over, including the women. I am 5'4". Their joke was that they found me on the side of the road. They all have black hair and blue eyes...I have ambiguous yellow eyes and red hair. I do look like a miniature version of them, though. I am told we are of Norse descent. Vikings rock!

I really enjoyed your reaction and just subscribed to your channel hoping you will do more Voice Play reactions. Voice Play is an acapella group from Orlando Florida and all the members and their frequently featured guests have worked as performers for Universal and/or Disney theme parks (so you were absolutely right when you mentioned Disney in your reaction and Voice Play has the best Disney covers on the internet if you like Disney). They are very different than the other popular acapella groups as they are more theatrical, do all of their own production in their own studio, and have no record label or contract by choice so they have complete control of their creative expression- they are known as the theater kids of acapella music. For starters, I would recommend checking out their play list on their channel and reacting to songs you know and love- you will not be disappointed.

@@thisismetoday7423 Yes, I am very familiar with Voctave and they are great too (I really enjoy the theatrics and attention to detail that Voice Play puts into their production where as Voctave is the best full choir sound). All of the singers in Voctave are past or current members of Disney's 'Voices Of Liberty' so they really are top notch at the Disney covers too (I am a resident of central Florida and have relatives that have worked performing at Disney). I am sure you have heard Voice Play's covers with featured guest E J Cardona, high tenor member of Voctave (love the collaborations).

That's one of the best reaction to Voiceplay I've ever watched. 😀 (Hoist the Colors is the track that gave me the most shivers)

If you want to hear them do Disney songs, you're in luck. We Don't Talk About Bruno is probably the best one in terms of featuring Cesar's voice, specifically. He was also in Friends on the Other Side. I think Little Mermaid was pre-Cesar, but it features Rachel Potter, who has the most perfect Disney princess voice of anyone ever.

If you liked that, part one is My mother told me. Or if you want to switch style l, they did Hoist the colors (pirates), Boogie Oogie, Ding Dong song and others (Halloween), or for more "normal": Dream On, Seven nation army, Nothing else matters. And they do some Disney medleys that are really fun.

He can play the harmonica and the piano. He and Layne do the majority of the arrangements for the group. Layne (pronounced Lane) is the beatboxer. He's a prankster and a ton of fun. He co-owns a production studio called PattyCake Productions with former member Tony. Voiceplay does a lot of their filming there. Eli (pronounced Ellie) is the rock god. He can belt out music with that edge like nobody's business. He can also do all kinds of voice acting) J None did the rap. He's a former member of the group who was recruited to sing with the Navy. He collabs with Voiceplay whenever he's on leave and available. Cesar (pronounced see-sir) is a character in and of himself. Amazing voice, tons of energy, and just a blast to watch! Voiceplay is often referred to as the "theater kids of Acapella". They've done everything from Disney to Boy Bands to Metallica. If you need a laugh, their most recent cover of Drunken Sailor is definitely a must watch!

"WTF just happened" you ask??? World Class A Cappella artistry. Like #153 here! Welcome to the world of VOICE. In this case, VoicePlay! As an avid fan of a cappella, I listen to it quite often. I'll name 4 groups... VoicePlay, Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voctave. During this reaction you mentioned Cesar's amazing "Disney voice." If you want Disney, I think Voctave and VoicePlay are your two best options. Every possible genre is covered by these groups. The (inadequate) descriptions are VoicePlay for theatrical music and performances, Home Free for a more 'rugged' style and lots of country-themed stuff, Pentatonix for all over the map, but mainly pop type covers and Holiday stuff (and originals), and then Voctave for classics and Disney (plus lots of Holiday stuff). These are just the "big Four." I'm sure you'll get plenty of feedback on the a cappella genre. They are wildly popular, especially here on You Tube. For instance, the Pentatonix version of Hallelujah currently has 716 million views. Watch the suggestions and try out ANY that tickle your fancy! This was a great reaction. Voiceplay does work with Disney on occasion, and you’re right they all crush it-they do it every song. Geoff’s low bass gets a lot of attention, but every one of these guys is amazing. You want to hear Cesar REALLY sing Disney-Check out Voiceplay’s We Don’t Talk About Bruno-even if you’re not into Disney usually these guys will blow your mind, and Cesar is a riot. J.None, who did the rap part, was a part of Voiceplay until he joined the Navy. We’re looking forward to him rejoining the group when his stint is up. Eli, the “Fagan” guy, was a rock singer before he joined Voiceplay so we love it when he gets to show us his rock god. Layne, the beatboxer, is quite simply a beast, plus he sings like an angel when he does get to sing. Miracle of Sound has his solo version of this song. Then he has one feat. Peyton Parrish and one feat. Peyton Parrish and Eric Hollaway. Payton Parrish has his own solo version. and this this one. I think there are one or two newer videos with a woman's voice added but I'm not sure about that. I'm loving the 5 I have in my playlists.

Voiceplay are the theater geeks of acapella. They, along with PTX and Home Free, are the top tier of current aca groups. Each is fantastic and have their own unique style. I prefer Voiceplay for creativity and entertainment. And of course, they have Geoff (the bass) and Eli (the rock tenor)! Although I have many songs on my playlist from the other two groups.

One thing you're going to notice if you continue down the VoicePlay rabbit hole is the frequent change in their lineup. The rapper here was a member who got recruited to sing for the navy about 3 years ago. He comes back while on leave and records several videos, so he's considered just another guest to keep their number at 5.

And before you make the common mistake that infuriates me, always watch their videos to the end when the Patreon names start scrolling. Not all the time, but often enough their is an important message or bloopers pertaining to the video. That goes for Geoff Castellucci's solo videos too. I think you're gonna LOVE Voiceplay! For more gaming goodness, they have covers of 'The Dragonborn Comes' (Skyrim,) featuring Omar Cardona, and the 'Halo' theme featuring Scott Porter. They also have an epic version of the Pirates of the Carribbean song 'Hoist The Colors,' featuring Hose Rosario Jr, who also features in the prequel to this one you've just watched, 'My Mother Told Me.' And they have tons of contemporary covers ranging from metal and grunge to eighties pop and Disney numbers. They're completely independent of any record companies, so they do pretty much everything themselves - from the vocal arrangements to the videos, lighting, FX and editing. It's why they've been largely hidden in the huge shadows of other, more commercially well-known acapella bands like Pentatonix and Home Free - but also how they've been able to experiment more and keep their sound fresh and exciting. Boy have you stumbled onto the mother of all loads in acapella! They do a -ton- of Disney songs, they do Dragonborn Comes from Skyrim and the Halo theme (watch the whole vid of Halo if you do though!), and a bunch of popular stuff like Queen or Boy bands in 5 minutes, THE LIST NEVER ENDS! Literally cannot recommend them enough, and I love seeing reactors discover them for the first time. You will not regret it!

Great reaction bud. The guy with the deep voice is called Geoff Castellucci. You should checknout his solo channel on KZread (just type in his name and it'll appear). On his own channel, the songs he does aren't acapella, but he does everything himself. Arranging, producing, vocals, video editing...the works. But best of all, he replicates himself multiple times and harmonizes with himself. Sounds weird but please please please check him out. He's done a lot of stuff but you should try "Way On Down" (originally by Elvis Presley). Look forward to your next video ❤

Oh my gosh, you are hilarious and your exuberance over this reaction earned you a sub! VP is awesome. People call them the Theater kids of Acapella for good reason. They love to dress up like this and act out stuff and make it their own. My Mother Told Me, is the precursor to this one. They also just put out a new one called 'Drunken Sailor' which is hilarious. VoicePlay and Pentatonix are my two go-to bands for Acapella. If you get a chance, check out Pentatonix as well, I suggest perhaps 'Daft Punk' which one them their first Emmy, or 90's Dance Medley, or Bohemian Rhapsody for your first listens! They seem right up your alley
