Great job on this video and spreading awareness on the MP2 program and the power of compounding interest. However, I would like to point out that your computations on the "annual dividends" assumed that the P60k is being invested lump sum at the beginning of each year. If an investor puts in P5k a month, the interest earned is slightly less than what is presented in this video.

As far as I know max of 7 years MP2 can earn thru dividends. Excess on that it will not earn anymore. You have to withdraw it and apply for a new MP2 account.

Tama ka dyan. After 5yrs kelangan i-withdraw mo na and keep it to yourself or apply for a new MP2. If ever hindi mo kinuha yang savings mo after 5yrs magi-earn pa rin yung savings mo up to 7yrs pero yung last 2yrs base na lang kung magkano ang computation ng dividends sa MP1 hindi na gaya kalaki ng MP2.

After 7 years withdraw it then apply for another mp2 account and put everything you saved and earned for the last 7 years. If you continuously do that strategy, you will reach 20 years to 25 years with loads of earnings.

Questions sir. 1. Is it still advisable to invest in MP2 this year despite the crisis? Coz loans will most likely decrease. 2. Are MP2 due for any income or capital gains tax? Or part of the estate tax? Thank you for the informative video sir! Considering to get one.

jean castillo If your 1000 pesos today can buy 4 gallons of milk in five years it will only buy 3 gallons. The moneys buying power has weaken due to inflation every year 2% to 4%.

@@stocksmarts_ also the last part might confused your viewers sir. Natanong ko na po ito sa Pagibig, 5 yrs lang po maturity and may 2 yrs pa na palugit for MP2 dividend rate. The rest for 8, 9, 10 yrs.... will be based on MP1.

Hi, just want to comment on the computation....isnt it the dividend earnings shown is true IF the lumpsum of P60,000 is paid at the start of each year. At 6% dividend earnings, paying P5,000 monthly for 12 months will not earn you P3,600 after year 1. The 2nd to 12th month contributions have to complete their full 1 year to get the full 6% per year.

Divide the 8% into 12 months that s your monthly dividend.

There's no magic in this world. That's way higher than the interest you have in the bank. Sa banko, interest is only less than 1% per year. If you want instant return of your money, go and invest to KAPA. Haha.

Yess sir...payo.ko.lang sa iba...wag kau matakot.mgpautang kayo.mismo.mg negusyo...i try it already in 10k..now almost 100k na..just 5% per.month dami kakasa jan..disiplina lang tlaga..wag kau matakot sa d ngbabayad..kc hanggat an dun pera mo.andon utang nya..5% a mnth is 60% a year..if d mgbayad kahit kalahati jan nasa 30% a year ka pa rin if ever d ka parin bayaran ng kalahati na yan 15% kaparin look at dat..point..

You can open mp2 at any branch nearest your location. You may opt to invest one time payment of 300k or a monthly basis 5k for the duration of 5 yrs. Its far better than time deposit in a bank.
