You know, I always felt like if Yoda had a family, he would be the kooky grandpa, who the second someone threatened his grandkids would go complete Rambo on them.

I've always believed that Yoda was the one Jedi that could have prevented Anakin's fall to the Dark side if he would have told him everything instead of just some one close to me is going to die. Side note I would love to have seen the look on Palpatines face when Anakin killed him

Third times a charm: What if Anakin fulfilled his childhood dream of going back to the outer rim and freeing all the slaves? Anakin would have to leave the order, starting a debate that he is what the Jedi should be. Saving his mom would happen naturally. It was *his* dream, not one planted by Palpatine, an ideal way to bring balance.

It's likely palpatine would hire a bounty hunter to kill Shimi like Cad Bane who would lead Anakin to the council or jedi in general and make him think they orchestrated it. Demanding his pay which would likely have anakin attacking bane and the jedi until getting subdued, barred, and possibly sent to the jedi prison

@@darthvapor4209 while I see your point, and while I agree that Palpatine wouldn't stay silent, what you are suggesting is a different plot. Not a bad one, just a totally different story. Anakin is someone who let his entire destiny be moved by dreams. But they were (in more senses than one) Palpatine's dreams, not his own. I'm suggesting: what if he "stayed the course" of his *own* dreams, all the way to the end. Not the Jedi's, or the Sith's, or Qui Gon's, or Palpatine's, but his own.

To be honest, sending the 41st, Luminara, AND MASTER VOS was already kind of an overkill, considering Kashyyyk was a last push by the CIS to change the outcome of the war, and their forces were already extremely depleted, and their best admirals long killed, so much so that they had to rely on a tactical droid that hadn't won a single major battle. Then you add the factor that the Republic was the defending side and as such was at an advantage, not to mention the massive help from the wookies, the droids never stood a chance. And let's not act like yoda actually did anything in that battle, he didn't even need to leave his command center. He was just there for the plot and nothing else.

What If Kit Fisto went to Utapau with Obi-Wan and Mace Windu went to Kashyyyk instead and Yoda stayed on Coruscant

So instead of learning about the Teachings of the Sith with Sidious as Darth Vader he learns the Teachings of many more knowledge of the Jedi from Grand Master Yoda. Great conclusion!

In this Story there is one plot that is ignored... yoda was told by anakin of his visions in the night after he was made a council member. So to say yoda would have made more progress early on to hold anakin in the light. At least i guess so
