Prisma colors I beleive are wax based, so they're great at blending, Especially if you apply in a circular motion instead of back and forth cx!

The whole wax vs oil based pencils is a myth actually. It's essentially the same with different ratios. Prismas are so good at blending due to their softer recipe/ratio.

Prisma colors or any soft colored colored pencils actually have a higher concentration of pigment which makes them softer and easier to blend this is also the same case with chalk pastels which are extremely easy to blend due to the high quality amount of pigment. Also Prisma and most soft colored pencils uses both clay and wax in their pencils unlike most cheap pencils that don't usually use clay in their mixtures.

I have to admit, Daidus made some pretty good menu items for his collab cafe. They’re very creative. But I honestly LOVE what Emirichu came up with. All her collab cafe items look too cute to eat!🩷

heya guys, one tip i learned while coloring a sea is that you never change directions on coloring with colored pencils, it will miss-match if you do diagonal and the next thing you're doing is straights or not adjescent to the pattern you did earlier.

i think ichika is like kirby dosent exactly talk but makes cute sounds

Spilled Ink has very quickly become one of my favorite channels, you both are so fun and fuel my desire to get creative with my art!

The café that Emily made is probably where her Vtuber model works part-time

Inkfries.

Holbein are the fanciest color pencils. Candache luminance color pencils are the fancy color pencils. Faber castell polychromos are fancy too.

I don’t know why, but every school pencil sharpener I have used was never fully attached to the wall, so you not only had to deal with the grinding and winding of the crank, but also the banging of metal against dry wall.

it’s funny cause i also hate when people do that but it’s because i HATE it lmao. it sets off the bad tingles i wish there was like a trigger warning for it so i could skip it 🥲

as a beginner pottery person, I highly recommend trying clay pottery! It's frustrating, but also theraputic (once you learn to expect to not be perfect on the first attempt....or 20...Q w Q ) and painting/firing your own with cool glazes and seeing how they turn out is exciting too!

One tip for colored pencils is to use something as a base behind the paper you are actually drawing on. I usually just use the paper pad. The table's surface is very hard which makes blending harder too and easier to get a strikey texture 😌

It's so wholesome to see them supportive and complementing each other.

As an artist, These videos are so relatable. It's so easy to get stuck in digital art and it's hard to go back to our roots sometimes 😅 it looks fun though, thanks for filming these. Starting at the beginning: Prismacolor pencils are nice.I mainly also use watercolor pencils.You draw with them and then use a paintbrush with water and make watercolor.But don't put the pencil in water or else it won't work. Emily's and Daidus Collab Cafe should be together.Like hers would be on the left and his would be on the right,where they meet in the middle. Emily's would mainly have Strawberries,Soba noodles, strawberry drinks,etc.With Genshin Impact,Stardew Valley,Kirby,Starfire, etc themed art. Daidus would have general Tso chicken,ice cream,chicken,etc.Mario,Cloud Strife themed art.

You can bland color pencils with alcohol markers I suggest you try that out next episode I think you’ll find it really fun

Absolutely love the content here! My only critique comes from wanting to enjoy the content more. But during the sketching stage I can barely see Daidus's sketch, I think it y'all adjust the ISO on the camera it may help me. It may also be a thing with watching on a phone but I am using a Google pixel and it has a very nice screen. Also I would love to see Emily's nails because they look beautiful!

Question for spilled ink/ anyone who wants to try this: water colored drawing? You take some paper, get some candles sticks, water color paints/pain brushes and go ham on them. Maybe do your favorite sea creatures/characters

This has quickly become one of my favourite channels! Not only is it cute and intimate, but as a artist who has also abandoned physical drawing, it's SO inspirational! You guys are giving me the ITCH!

One tip I suggest when using colored pencils is to sharpen everyone of them before you begin using them. Not only to give a longer point, but colored pencils also have a weird waxy base over the led itself when packaged, so you'll have an easier time using them upon sharpening them. Also, I assume Emily already knew this(with her way of coloring with them), but layer each of the colors softly before layering more colors on top, that way, blending well be easier.(Meaning don't press too hard with them)
