TBH I'm not sure if he'd be THAT good in F1. He's unbelievably fast, but it's feast or famine for him. One day he'll dominate a race and another he'll put it in the wall. Pato O'Ward is the indycar driver that I'd love to see join F1

I’d honestly love for Toyota to rejoin F1. They had so much potential in F1 before they left, and they’ve won Le Mans multiple times. Hope to see them back soon

Tbh, Toyota can use the money they put in f1 into something useful and better . F1 is just marketing and Tesla has shown that u can create amazing technology without even being in a racing series . I believe Toyota will go into the hydrogen class of lemans because they are the major players in fuel cell and hydrogen tech .

Toyota don't run a factory team in NASCAR but they have a factory team in WRC that they dominate in.

NASCAR's Toyota teams are as far as you can expect from an *actual* Toyota factory team as TRD's racing division, basically Toyota US runs independently from anything Toyota Japan does.

I’ve been campaigning for a Toyota return to F1 ever since their successes in WRC & NASCAR as well as their recent dominance in WEC. I mean, they’ve been so successful with their motorsport ventures recently, why stop there? On a side note, Tommo, would love to see you have a crack at doing a Corvette Racing F1 team haha

Given their Le Mans dominance of late, I’d back Toyota to be able to make a good F1 car too. Might even be able to pull Alonso from Alpine as well! Also your design is just beautiful 🤌

As for the test driver, wouldn't Ryo Hirakawa be a better choice considering he is a Toyota driver while Oyu is a Honda driver ?

I totally agree 👍. Disappointed with Honda because they could have let Redbull still build their engines, but under the Mugen brand. The Japanese seem to be flakey unfortunately with F1.

I'm not going to bash, but RPM would be a joke in F1. The only reason that team can stay solvent is by being buoyed by a bigger team. Hendrick is a greater than 0% chance of happening. Penske has actually won in F1 (something Toyota cannot claim to), and he definitely has the resources to try. I'd love that as he's the most successful auto racing owner in American history, but I think he's committed to US motorsports (NASCAR/IndyCar). Especially given his ownership of Indianapolis. Ganassi is actually exiting NASCAR, Trackhouse Racing (part owned by Pitbull) actually gave him a Godfather offer for his team and he couldn't refuse. He seems pretty committed to putting the newfound funds into IMSA and IndyCar, but of all the guys you mentioned, that seems like the least far fetched one. I could especially see this if Chevrolet ever decided to enter F1, as Ganassi's close links to GM through his Cadillac DPI program could be perfect.

Cool livery! Although usually TGR livery are asymmetrical between left and right hand side of the car, but I think this one works quite well for F1 shaped car.

Toyota F1 before was so unique with their sound. So many fans wants to see F1 just because of that.

great video again! I would pull Sho Tsuboi as the reserve driver just because he fits the mold the same, young, fast driver but drives a Toyota now where as Toshiki is in a Honda

That AD transition was 🔥 I have a couple suggestions: - Jaguar (like Mercedes to leave formula E) -Lamborghini, Nissan and Bugatti cause they’re cool car manufacturers - maybe some old non-manufacturer’s teams similar to puma, so Marussia(in honour of Jules), Jordan or even brawn - youtuber teams, obviously starting with tommo f1 -future driver teams, hamilton f1 with the livery similar to his helmet would be very cool - and finally some brands, similar to red bull, in xbox/playstation, apple, and more I feel like im going on but these are some cool suggestions which would be very sick to see, shout out tommo for the amazing content

If the VW group was to come back to F1, Lamborghini wouldn’t have a look in, Audi and Porsche have already been interested in 2025 engine regs. Lambo can continue to make rebodied Aventador’s for another 10 years. Other ones were a shout though 👍🏻

Livery looks absolutely spectacular, the only changes I would make is a small black line in between the red and the white on the side of the car.

I Love it so Much! I am Born in Cologne so Toyota will always be in my Heart! I also got Team-Magazines from a Former Engineer at Toyota and a Travel Bag from the Panasonic Toyota Racing as Well! Just Amazing to see a Car in the Style of Toyota again! Would be Great If Our Cologne/Japanese Team would Return to the Formula 1 Circle! :) Just Straight Perfection! i would love to see the team as you have suggested. how about doing an episode or two on who all the F1 sponsors are and what they do. I see lots of names and brands on F1 cars but i have no idea what they are about. not very effective advertising i think but i dont mind as long as it keeps F1 going.
