Agree

I like how Padme was just outright ready to kill Anakin, but the Anakin didn't retaliate against her, he acted out a reflex and kept her from being super injured, as opposed to the original timeline. I also like how Mace's plan to basically emotionally destroy Anakin to force him back to his senses worked in the long run. I also like the fact Padme, despite being clearly against Anakin, gave him one extra chance in the end after seeing he was genuinely back. My personal theory is that due to Anakins past traumas he developed Vader as a split personality, one that became so powerful that it locked the original personality away in the deepest depths of his subconcious and took over as the main personality.

I always had that impression as well. He was ashamed and hated himself so much he decided to fall back on another personality to break away from the hero everyone loved so he could kill his former friends with no remorse and act as a different person.

@@christophercardoza2872 That's literally what causes a split personality to form. An event so traumatic that the person experiencing it has to create an entirely new persona just to be able to cope with it.

Interesting how Tarkin was a stronger ruler and had more control even though he was less powerful than Palpatine. Also how the Empire was much more stable and better with succession.

Tarkin was a brilliant tactician so him being a great emperor doesn't surprise me. I always thought that if palpatine had died and tarkin was still alive he would have taken the mantle. Vader wasnt interested in ruling the empire at that point.

@@skylerwilson5378 thrawn would have been a brilliant emperor and it would have outlasted the rebellion. His tie fighter defense thing he wanted to implement instead of the death star would have easily wiped out the rebellion at every turn.

​@@chrisaizen3678 Yeah, the rebellion would literally have zero answer to his TIEs. A craft moving that fast having that much firepower, armor and shields would tear their fleets apart, much less several squads moving through them at once. Every naval encounter would be a massive defeat and setback for the rebellion and they wouldn't be able to get the traction they had in canon, especially with their ground force's message being disrupted by Saw's band making them all look bad.

I never get tired of that "Hello" in the beginning.

A great take on this what if. Unique is the best way to describe it. Glad to see a different villain in the form of the empire itself with Tarkin at the helm, a refreshing change compared to what we get normally with just Sidious. As well as the direction you went with the surviving Jedi and Council members.

Imagine Anakin achieves balance by being taught darkness by Talzin and Light by the Jedi council. Pente has done something similar with the Vitiate returning in the clone wars what if, but it wasn't the focus of the what if, and Talzin wasn't a feature. I think it would be fun

You two took this way too seriously. Besides, this topic is much of a grey area, the council really were (most) jerks but Anakin also was manipulated by Sidious. Its just a whole can of worms to pick out of; way i see it, Anakin was always a slave to something. From Watto, The Jedi, and Sidious. Only Luke managed to set him free

This is true. Our Grand Master's View of History. On Characters. And On Events in The Star Wars can really be unique.

What if Sifo-Dyas, secretly reformed and trained the Republic Troopers (The Old Republic), before his death and Rahm Kota took over training.

What if Grievous escaped on Utapau? What if the Separatist Council was warned about Vader? What if Sidious’ true plan was uncovered by the Separatists? What if Padme (and the delegation of 2000) led a separate rebellion against Palpatine’s government? What if Mace Windu or (insert force wielded here) was send to Utapau/Kashyyyk instead? What if Ventress became close friends with Ahsoka/Anakin/Obi Wan? What if Cad Bane fought for the Jedi?

Great story too. As usual you knocked it out of the park.

@@tomcross3000 Yes, but how would Sidious know they found out about the scream? The only thing that would change in this scenario is that they knew about it, not whether or not he knew they did. Just throwing in another power that they didn't know about kinda defeats the purpose of this hypothetical: to see how things would change in the fight if Sidious didn't have the element of surprise on his side.

@@GamingDrummer89 i think maybe you misunderstand both my reply and sidious as a character with how powerful and clever he is. my reply takes in all you think it doesn't and plays out the scenario with minor differences, because yes sidious would literally just fall back on any of his powers or saberskills to intimidate and blitz the 4 jedi. sidious prepared for anything, he knew and sensed powers of jedi at any given time so he was prepared for any possibility the jedi knew how to fend off a force scream, he could sense them all, could sense their arrival. planning, manipulating, if one thing doesn't work right away, nevermind he has a backup plan. in other words he probably expected more of a fight than what happened.

@@tomcross3000 I'm aware that Sidious was a master manipulator and had contingency plans, but I think perhaps you're underestimating what the 4 Jedi could do to fight back against his other abilities. There's stuff they could do to counter his lightning (like we saw Windu almost do successfully by himself), and they wouldn't be stunned enough by a force choke to not be able to fight back with their lightsabers to some degree while they try to break out of it. Maybe he could use that ability to get the upper hand if there was just one other Jedi there besides Windu and the same thing Dooku did to Obi-Wan happened to that Jedi (force choke plus force throw) happened. That or what Sidious did when he held Savage and Maul against the wall, but with 3 others there? That's 2 more strong individuals he has to focus his force choke on. Sidious is powerful, but he's far from infallible or unbeatable. Thus, this is a complex scenario that, as well as Sidious may have thought ahead about, has numerous possible ways it could play out for either side.

What if Anakin went to Utapaau while Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Ahsoka went to fight Sidious with Mace Windu?

What if anakin was declined training by the Jedi order and following that obi wan left the order and took anakin to train him on mandalore

Considering the clone wars would have never happened if that happens. Obi wan would not have a relationship with satine therefore he would have no reason to go to mangalore, let alone leave the Jedi Order he loved so much for someone that his grand master thinks is not the chosen one.

What if hondo the pirate came to the jedi temple during order 66 to save some jedi Maybe that female youngling he got on with during the clone wars sent him a message What if grievous went rogue n was the third party in the civil war

What If the Jedi had sent all of the low preforming Jedi to a remote planet? All those who's midicloran count was just not high enough, or those who could not pass the trails. Rather than sending them home, they in effect created an experiment to see if force powers could be strengthened over time. On the planet these Children of the Jedi created a happy society that used the force in every aspect of life (growing food, teaching, hunting, schooling, raising children, etc). The few lightsabers they had were passed down to the protectors of the village, known as the Children of the Knights. (High Republic time for a few hundred years and then in shame the Jei removed knowledge of it before Dooku joined the order.) That's all I got for an initial idea. Have fun.

That's actually the plot of a series of legends books. Obi wan was being sent to an agricultural world with a bunch of other failed jedi younglings to essentially be farm workers

What if the events of the old republic happened again, for example, the mandalorians went back to their early ways and tried taking over the galaxy at the manipulation of unknown sith. Who would take the role of revan/malic. I'd say we could see qui gon and anakin being the two with obi won or ahsoka taking the mitra role.

This was one of your better scenarios. You made it actually differentiate from canon, while also making it still feel like a contiguous Star wars story. It probably had some of the least necessary suspension of disbelief, and kept a tight narrative. Good stuff my man, try taking this sort of approach more often.

This really was one of Our Grand Master better scenarios. Although, The All Of Our Grand Master's Stories always are so good that sometimes it is difficult to choose the best of his stories.

I'm not sure that Anakin would have such a calm reaction to Padme betraying him like that though.

(for one of my what ifs that this could work well with is number three of what if Cal and Merrin had a daughter, because then we can make the decision of her path and have multiple endings, some good some bad then the viewers can see which one they get 1) what if the Sith Empire returned during the High Republic era. 2) another one of my favorites what if Jyn Erso survived combined with what if Jyn Erso met and fell in love with Luke Skywalker, (I know that is technically two but it's an interesting idea for a what if especially considering how many people were theorizing that Jyn Erso was going to be Luke's wife in canon and the mother of Ray during the lead up to Rogue one). 3) what if Cal Kestic and Merrin had a daughter, (Jedi/Nightsister hybrid who tries to stick to the light but uses her Nightsister magic when under severe pressure in combat). 4) just to see what happens what if the Daughter from the Mortis ark was a Jedi. 5) what if Ezra and Sabine had a child 6) What if Luke Skywalker fell in love with Doctor Aphra 7) what if Padme was enslaved by the Hutts during the Clone wars 8) what if Bo-Katan and Din Djaran fell in love during Mandalorian season 3 (like the original idea) 9) what if the Malevolence didn't get destroyed 10) what if Padme was forced to marry for the Republic during the clone wars 11) what if Galius Rax was at Endor 12) what if Padme was made a prisoner of war during the clone wars? (this could be combined with number 9) 1 and 2 and 3 are my favorite ones and so is the choose your own style I am doing my version of what if Jyn Erso survived combined with what if Jyn met and fell in love with Luke Skywalker on AO3. Oh boy, then civil war will be waged. Those Council Masters are going to rally dissident senators and Separatist remnants into their ranks and wage war against the Chancellor and his clone army. It will truly be chaos. And with Vader still not used to his mechanical body, it might very well end with the Emperor getting executed if the battered and tired clone army can't defeat the private armies of the pro-Jedi senators and the Separatist remnants.

Very interesting and good story, mybonly critique is that you could better pace the story and the rate you speak. Everything feels like it has to be fast and even the end you spoke as if on a time limit. Not bashing you, but the stories would benefit for sure. At least three council members survived, possibly four. Yoda, Kenobi, Anakin/Vader, and possibly Windu all survived.

What if Anakin had stayed in the Temple and tried to protect it during 66, but Sidious maimed and burned him with lightning as badly as his wounds on Mustafar, putting him in the suit believing he'd broken Anakin. Vader suit but still Jedi Anakin manages to escape. Drama lord Anakin would probably keep the breathing apparatus
