Makes sense as Gwen called the Opticoid "Eye Guy" as an insult. Ben adapt that as a name a year later but took him 6 years later to realize how lame the name is

@@richmondanimations I don’t think Ben ever said the word “Ghostfreak” whilst he was Ghostfreak in the classic. That’s probably why the audio was taken from Alien force instead.

Yeah, I was watching when the classic series started and I fell off somewhere in alien force. And when I came back in ultimate alien, I forgot that he never shouted the names in the classic that by the time I rewatched the classic episodes, I was surprised that he wasn't shouting their names. I got so used to hearing the names shouted. And yeah, it was a bit sad that they didn't continue that "trend" in Omniverse because it got to where we wouldn't learn most of the new alien names until several episodes later

I love how an explanation of Ben turning into aliens that he don't want to just cuz he pressed the watch too hard.. let's say he's weak and timid guy, he pressed the watch slowly, and now the watch gives him whichever alien he wants without errors. And keeps overconfident Ben 10 in check😅

Do you remember the exact clips you extracted the audio from for each alien ?I know ghostfreak is from alien force and canonbolt has one used for vilgax attacks on the episode “game over” but not much the others

He did sometimes said their names after transformation was complete, but he said it as a question, like "why this alien? When I wanted to transform into an other one."

Some of the Classic Aliens from the Alien Force and Ultimate Alien series did say there names. Even Gwen yelled Wildmut's Name out Considering he doesn't talk. The ones who didn't were. Greymatter, XLR8, UpGrade, Ripjaws, Stinkfly, Heatblast and Wildvine.

I feel like for this era these fit so well

These feel like videogame name shouts

That was such clean editing and transitioning.

They should be holding the vowels a little longer than what they are here and pitched slightly higher on the vowels than consonants like they're picking up their chest as they say the vowels. Notice how in UAF, Diamondhead doesn't just say "Diamondhead" he says "Diiiamondheeeaaad", Four Arms goes "Fooouuur AAArms", Swampfire isn't just "Swampfire", it's "Swaaampfiiire" and notably Humungousaur is "Huuuuumooouuungosaauur". Listen to Ghostfreak's line and you can here what I'm talking about.

While i did think that name shouting was unique for UAF I'm kinda glad Omniverse got rid of it. Like imagine this scenario: Ben's meant to be stealthy for a mission he's on and as soon as he's done transforming he completely gives away his and Rook's postion to whoever they are fighting especially if it's a really powerful foe that might be a bit much for even Ben

These were all pretty well done! Although the XLR8 one couldve been done better. Mainly cuz i can tell the audio used sounds more like a questioning tone rather than a badass tone like the other ones.
