What if Crosshair never left the Bad Batch?

In my opinion, Depa survival would have quite a big impact on how the fate of the galaxy would go. It must be remembered that she was Windu's student, so if anyone could pass the Vaapad technique on, it would be her. Even if she wasn't fully familiar with the technique, she would have had some idea of it. She would have given it to Kanan even if only in the form of a holocorone and he would pass it to Ezra. Ezra enhanced with a Vaapad technique that I think would suit him perfectly would become really powerful, much more powerful than he was at the end of the Rebels. Could he defeat Vader then, in my opinion, no, at least not in the course of the Rebels, but none of the Inquisitors would stand a chance against him, nor would he be deceived by Maul. P.S. I'd like to see the story where Master Kirak Infil's kills Vader. Vader almost died during their fight, in order to defeat the Master he had to go so far as to blow up the dam.

Actually, if the badbatch saved Depa, Kanen wouldn't have trained Ezra at all and in fact never met him. Let me explaine: If the badbatch had saved Depa, they couldn't have gone back to Kamino, so they would have never met and saved Omega who was the one to give Hera the link to their emergency com channel. And with Hera out of the picture, the ghostcrew would have never met. On top of that, the Kaminoans needed Omega to create new clones to sell to the empire, which would have been much superior to stormtropers, so there's that.

⁠@@jebkerman5422no the force always finds a way to unite people that are destined to meet. If Ezra is strong enough in the force he can be sensed by kanan or billaba by unwittingly stretching out and calling to them in the force. If omega didn’t give the com channel to ghost crew, they would obtain it another way.

Depa is one of my favorite Jedi tbh. I'm glad to see one video where she had survived and it's centered around her.

I hope this gets a light side version! By that i mean that depa and the bad batch survive the rescue attempt, killing vader would be unrealistic, escaping vader would make sence, It would be a great part 2 bonus video or a re-upload with an extended story 😃 And like always, GREAT VIDEO!!!

I agree!! There’s no way Vader would win against depa. She uses VaaPad which is perfect against dark side and would make her on par if not stronger than Vader in that entire engagement. Especially a dark sided on the level of Vader. On top of the fact that she’s faster by a lot. She shouldn’t have died. At the very least they could’ve escaped.

I think this would be an interesting idea what if Depa billaba trained Anakin I believe her maternal nature would work well with Anakin

She would treat Padme like a daughter in law and Ahsoka like a daughter and Rex as Anakin's friend Billaba would be ruin Palpatines plan to turn Anakin because Anakin would view Billaba as a Mother and Rex and Grey would be like BFFs on missions

What if Maul had actually died during his fight with Obi-wan on Naboo? Maul was presumed dead after Obi-wan cut him in half and sent him down that shaft, but what if they recovered his body to ensure he was dead. It seems a bit weird how they never bothered to investigate or examine the body of the 1st Sith they had encountered in years, Maul had a communication device that could have revealed who his master was, why did Sidious assume he was dead, couldn't he feel Maul was still alive. This could be a fun story that could go any one of a billion different ways.

To answer your question in darth sidious eyes maul had failed him by getting cut down he was by sidious standards useless and pathetic it's no different than towards the end of return of the jedi after vader lost his hand and lightsaber and been bested by luke sidious saw his apprentice a failure and saw potential in luke thats all sidious does he uses people promising them power but when they truly fail him he tosses them for something new the only reason why vader/anakin lasted the longest is because by the time after order 66 was done many jedi were dead and all of sidious allies were gone and while the inquisitors had theri use they weren't the chosen one which is what truly kept vader/anakin by sidious side till even he proved eventually ineffective.

@@alexdraper3114 I get that, but that doesn't explain why the Jedi didn't go looking for Mauls body, they assumed he was dead and never investigated. Also, I intended my comment as a "What if" idea not an actual question, however I do appreciate your response.

@@noahliasam7407 Even if they assumed he was dead, they should have done an investigation. Any time there is a death, even if a police officer is forced to use deadly force an investigation is conducted to ensure lethal force was justified. In a criminal investigation the body may hold clues about the crime, in this case the question is, is this the Master or the Apprentice, if it was the Apprentice who is the Master, if he was the Master does he have an Apprentice, but nope, they did nothing, no investigation of any kind apparently.

I had two ideas watching Tales of the Jedu, one I've already mentioned but ai could say it again. 1. What if Rex went to Coruscant with Anikin instead of Mandalor. 2. What if Anikin's training for Asoka was made standard training? By this I mean the clone firing squad insead of droids.

These ideas aren't bad however there's like a few spelling mistakes here... Anakin* (It's ana-kin not ani-kin) Mandalore* (Same as the ahsoka case) Ahsoka* (You almost got it right just you missed one letter)

Well Kanan/Caleb will be living a different life now. In a similar vain I wondered if The Bad Batch all stayed loyal to the Empire, like kill Saw when ordered to.

at the moment vader fought them, i kinda think the idea of vader cuts down the bad batch and echo is injured. having vader recognize echo and sparing him for echo to run wouldve been a cool take on this. echo wouldnt chsnge the story you made besides telling kanan the fate of the group and joining kanan on his journey.

What If Qui-Gon Jinn trained Asajj Ventress

What if Anakin Skywalker WAS Revan? He ends in the past because of anything you want (the Force, world between worlds, the Father...), live through all events Revan originally lived and comes back to the present after his defeat at the Foundry (that's when he disappear in a Force explosion of sorts). What if Luke Skywalker WAS Ezra Bridger? Instead of dumping him on Tatooine, Luke is adopted by the Bridger family on Lothal. What if a Clone war era Venator ship (with maybe a younger Yularen in charge) ended up in the future during the reign of Palpatine's empire? What if Mass Effect existed in the Star Wars universe? Can't help but wonder how the proud Citadel species would react to the many species living in Separatist/Republic territories not using eezo or the Mass Relays and how a first contact war would go against a GAR/CIS fleet.

I always imagined the Badbatch would meet their end at Vader's Blade, this is definitely a head cannon death for them for me Also here for lightsaber!

An old Rex would see a Adult Omega with her new Squad the new Clone Force 99 with Rex saying "if Hunter, Echo, Tech or Wrecker were here they would be proud" with Omega wearing Hunters Armor with Wreckers helmet and the sniper of her new squad would dawn Crosshairs armor and rifle and The Computer Geek would be Tech and Omega would use The Marauder for her squads mission in the Rebellion often pairing up with The Ghost Crew and often work with Rex who saw so much of Hunter in Omega with Rex looking at the Back of the Ship seeing the spirits of Clone Force 99

Echo technically wouldn’t have seen Piell die nor would he have been present at his burial since he got blown up prior to that scene. Otherwise great video

I've been saving this one for a while ;)

I thought this was a cool little story, I was a little confused by the ending where it had no effect on the main canon story, however your post story wrap up explained your choices very well. I have come to enjoy the fact that you take all that OP PLOT ARMOR away from the main characters, but a bit confused that you allowed the main story canon to retain it's plot armor, while I agree with not having a huge impact on the main story, it would have been cool if it had some small effect. As I have come to realize these stories are one possibility out of billions of possibilities. Thanks for this neat little story.

I’m at the beginning and I have 1 problem. In the show 99 squad didn’t get any transmissions but tech saw that there was a command on the comms stating “execute order 66”. He read it out loud which resulted in crosshair becoming one of the other clones. In this it sounds like crosshair tried to execute Caleb Dume (Kansan Jarrus) because the other clones were attempting to kill the Jedi. but so far it’s done amazingly

heres an interesting point, the bad batch have commando blasters, which have an at attachment, explosive suppression is a tried and tested method across both the shows and battlefront games.

What if the Bad Batch recovered the Beskar armors from the dead Mandalorians that they encountered. Since the clones are grown from Jango Fett, they're aware of the Mandalorians and at least tried to study their donor's heritage and that the importance of their armor. The same with ObiWan having Beskar armor too after his missions from Mandalore.

What is Padmé broke her promise from the beginning of the clone wars to Sabé and called her for help during RotS. “you could order me to my death and I would go willingly. My hands are yours, please don’t ask me for them again,” I think it would be kinda poetic if Sabé died protecting her and urging her to live and keep fighting and be there for her children. Give her a way better peptalk than Obi-Wan 😂 she’s a best friend letting loose about how much she hates her friends shitty boyfriend “guuuuuuuurl” haha …. Real question is would Bail tell Ahsoka the truth at the funeral 🤔

I always liked the idea of a clone Civil War were the remaining and surviving Jedi including Rex and other clones who resisted order 66 and had their chips removed systematically removed the chips of those under their command causing a divide in the ranks of the clones where you have the loyalist faction and the imperial faction potentially someway to undo order 66 in the chips of the imperial clones as a way of ending that Civil War and ending the galactic empire before it even begins.

This is gonna be a good one

I am not fond of stories that end in a Total Party Wipe. (See "Wolf's Rain".) In short, I want the last half hour of my life back. Could they alter the timeline in a major way? No. That just means that they get to nudge things in the background making things better on the micro level while the heavy lifting on the macro level is handled by others. Of course, you might consider that to be "Side Quests: the What If", in which case we have both waisted our time here. Keep the upvote, but know that I hate this one with the burning passion of a thousand fiery suns.

The way you described the ending and the death of Depa and the Bad Batch would be so awesome to see, yet so gruesome and horrifying at the same time tbh, I'd love to see this animated, I feel sorry for Caleb, he was one of my favorite Jedi's that lived the purge

The real thing is. What is this going to change, like what will Depa do if saved.

What if surviving jedi fought for the rebellion. Vos, Ashoka, etc. 🤔 would need better inquisitors thou

"Oh shit! Oh shit!" Literally had a Channing Tatum moment when Depa suggested Polis Massa

What if the Bad Batch saved Leia instead of Obi-wan. "Where's the army?!" "You're looking at it, kid!" *Play theme* What if Steela gerrera didn't die on Onderon? What if Anakin was born a women? Kendall Skywalker. What if the sith holocron Ezra got was Kreia's? What if Asajj Ventress and the Nightsisters successfully assassinated Dooku? Thought i would think things would be more different, not on the side of the bad batch but with the Kaminos. Remember, Bane wasn't going after the batch he was going after Omega. No need to go after her. The batch never went back to Kamino and never got her. So the Kaminoins would still have Omega and could have left earlier, maybe even getting out before Rampart could find out they were sneaking scientists out. The cloning facility would still be destroyed but the Kaminoins likely have others and with Omega they could continue there clone production for their own personal army.

Ok it wus very good and I wood have like for it to be longer but it wus good and keep up the good work

I wish you had made the initial encounter at the Spire more like the scene from Rebels (rather having the GI there instead of Vader) because I didn’t entirely agree that Vader would just wait around to spring a single trap multiple times (he said “just another optimistic Jedi hoping to save a long dead master”) he would’ve been there once to ensure effectiveness, then left GI in charge because he’s impatient and battle hungry while the GI is patient and methodical (someone better suited for a trap of this kind) also I’m kinda biased because they basically had no galactic significance at all, which is what I really like to see in these stories.

I always found it weird that the apprentice of Mace windu one of the most powerful Jedi the order have ever seen struggled to survive the Purge

This was a nice "What if" story

Damn talk about brutal 72nd attempt of what if Anakin Skywalker and Galen Marek were rivals and trained together.

I've some ideas for What If: - What if Plagueis or Sidious turned to the light? - What if Anakin and Shmi were Mandalorians? - What if Palpatine wasn't elected the chancellor of the Republic in Phantom Menace? - What if it was Saw and not Steela who died on Onderon? - What if Tarkin died in the Citadel meaning there would be no Tarkin Doctrine for the Empire? - What if Qi'ra joined the Galactic Empire with Han perhaps becoming an ISB agent?

This has a dark ending. Good story though but basically just a shorter ending to the bad batch series.

I have a idea :What If Pente Patrol Star Wars was born on earth his the same year he was born in real life but was a jedi and didn't know it and as a little kid thought something was wrong with him till one day a ships hyper drive malfunctioned and went to earth and found him and he went to their galaxy and the truth of his lineage would be uncovered.

That was obviously the right thing to do as they don’t have their chips and that the Order 66 clones were the ones trying to kill her. The Bad Batch could’ve also saved Kanan too.

What if asoka tano had a series of force visions coming in bits and pieces. Anakin turning to the darkside of the force,Padme dying in childbirth,Order 66. This would happen over the next few months after the jedi temple bombing but before asoka fights maul on mandalore. Would she tell yoda, padme and obi-wan about her visions as well as what maul said about sidious grooming skywalker for a irreversible turn to the darkside of the force for the jedi's chosen one.

I will comment this in all videos from now on, "what if ahsoka trained anakin, and then during the clone wars anakin trained his padawan obiwan kenobi"

This video was amazing. I would have enjoyed watching this had it been the storyline that they were going to use for the show. The Only thing that annoyed me with this is that I felt as though Depa, and the Bad Batch died too easily.

Honestly, I think if there was ANY group of clones that could take down Vader nearly unscathed, it's the Bad Batch. Vader doesn't have the power to stop blaster bolts, so honestly, this "what if" feels like a, if you'll excuse the unintended pun, Forced outcome.

What if Obi-Wan killed Count Dooku on Oba Diah? He was so close with his last swing in the 2v1
