What If Terms & Conditions Was A PUZZLE GAME?
Ойындар
Terms & Conditions Game AND Stick to the Plan Demo - two short games in one video! One's a troll game about declining the terms and conditions at all costs. The other's a promising movement puzzler where you're a dog carrying a long stick. I bet you can guess which I enjoyed more haha.

Trying something different here with two games in one video. Both games were too short to make it into a video on their own, so I thought it'd be best to combine them. Let me know which game you enjoy more!

I think there should be more indication in the title that there will be a second game cause I was kinda confused when the video didn't end after the first game but otherwise I don't mind two different games is cool

There seems to be a misunderstanding, terms and conditions are already a puzzle game. The goal is to find the hidden opt-out button in each level.

I did like the two game format, however I think in the future I’d recommend mentioning it in the beginning(or not if you want it to be a surprise) and give a little bit more of a segue between the two even if it’s just you mentioning switching up , so the jump isn’t as jarring

Yeah, was not expecting the sharp transition
The transition between games would definitely feel a lot better if it was portrayed in the thumbnail somehow and/or mentioned at the beginning of the video by post-production Tyler (or even just in text from the editors). As it was, the transition is a little jarring, especially since I don’t think you’ve ever done anything like that before, but I like watching any game you play, so it was fine for me. Crazy to see all three editors working on one video! You can definitely tell where each one added their own flair, and I love it

I agree, I initially thought the second game was a sponsor or ad!
The negation of “All of the statements below are true” is not “none of the statements below are true.” The proper negation is “at least one of the statements below are false.”
@MineNick11

Both that or the statements above are false can be true. But I learned the hard way the game only accepts “the statements above are false”

@@MineNick11I don't think I fully understand what you're saying. If a statement is about the things above it then it wouldn't say anything, negated or otherwise, about those above it, and vice versa.

@cephery8482

@@MineNick11that wasnt an option? What he’s saying is about showing the options arent true. So if your statement is ‘all the statements below are true’ of even one statement is false and 999 others were true the statement is incorrect cause it’s not all of them. The opposite (or negation) of ‘all the statements below are true’ is ‘at least one of the statements below is false’

I am glad you gave two games in one, so it wasnt too short of a video, but i would suggest showing both games in _some_ way in the thumbnail or title. It felt almost like a prank when the second game started, as there was no warning. Then again, if this haopens consistently, i suppose it wouldnt be unexpected

I think I played the Game Jam version of the Stick game, had more puzzles revolving the collapsing bridge tiles but didn't have the fences and sewer grates. I found it quite enjoyable, looking forward to the full game!
Glad you enjoyed both of these games. I like the surprise *pivot* from one game to the other.
Always feels good to figure out a puzzle before Tyler. Half the time I understand nothing, and another 40% I get ideas at the same time. So that last 10% is a nice confidence boost.
i was NOT expecting two games but i thoroughly enjoyed it it’s like two videos in one night but yeah it literally came out of nowhere
i just wanna say, been a huge fan of your videos for a while now, i watch them every night when they come out, so thank you for that, and i was wondering if there's an update on tandis? i'm just happy to get videos either way, so thank you for making them every night! best part of my nights lol
Love that this is turning/returning into a trend. Also had the same thinking process at 4:24 (even not noticing the timer at first)
Hi aliensrock! I've been watching your channel for a long time and it's always a highlight of my day when you upload, especially now. I've been fighting a panic attack for a bit now and this video helped to calm me down somewhat. So for that, you have my eternal gratitude.
The double game video was a delightful surprise! Thanks for the daily uploads Tyler!
1:21 Interesting logic development, knowing that one always tells you the truth, and one always lies, you can ask one what the other would tell you, and always get the wrong response.
@fos1451

I feel like that’s pretty well known in the game of one always the truth and other always lie. Even easier just ask them what’s the answer to 2+2. The real riddle of that is when they can only answer with yes or no and you don’t understand their answer. So for example, they might answer 1 or 2, but you don’t know if 1 is a yes or no and if 2 is a yes or no.
@ezra7088

yeah when i played the game I only used that one because I had heard a riddle similar to it before, but it's easier if u ask all three questions

Add in a 3rd guard that answers randomly While You re at it. Would need at least 3 questions to complete
@emiliatuominen3785
10 ай бұрын
@@fos1451 That's still relatively easy, ask guard 1 "would guard 2 tell me the right door is correct?" Then ask guard 2 if the right door is correct, if guard 1 predicted right then guard 1 tells the truth and guard 2 lies, if guard 1 guessed wrong, guard 2 was telling the truth.
@TheLuigiguy64
10 ай бұрын
@fos1451 The secret is loaded questions. Ted-Ed's "3 Gods Riddle" taught me that one. You don't even need to know which one the liar is or which term means what. "Assistant 1, If I asked Assistant 2 "Is 2+2 four?" Would they say 'yes' or 'no'?" If assistant 1 tells the truth, it would respond 'no' because assistant 2 would lie. If assistant 1 lies, it would also respond 'no' because it lies about assistant 2 telling the truth. In this context you'd then say "Assistant 1, If I asked Assistant 2 "Is the opt-out button white?" Would they say yes or no?" And be given the incorrect answer, regardless of which one lies. If they say 'yes' you'd pick blue.
I like the idea of multiple short games in one video, although it does kinda make the title and thumbnail feel misleading. But whatever, that's YT baby!

i'd say it works occasionally in cases like this where the games are too short to make a full video for iit Though probably wouldn't want to see it on a regular
Reminds me of nerdcubed’s old series Three Free Games Friday! If this format allows you to showcase shorter flash games, I’m all for the change of pace!

Aliensrock daily uploads the only thing keeping me sane
I like it when Ben Dan and frazzz team up to create 1 video
As others have said, some note on the thumbnail/title to having two games would be nice for future entries, but for short games like these I'd happily see more 2 game videos! It'd also make finding the videos again later easier, for example if I went looking for the dog game, I wouldn't instinctively look in the video that looks to be all about the terms and conditions game. On the games tho, both of these are super cute and interesting, def want to see the dog one get a series when the full game drops
I like the new double video idea!
Nice! Thanks for the content!
Yooo! Triple editor edited video! Amazing work everyone! This time that sentence actually works!
2:16 the red lines showing you untangling this sentence in real time is a really nice touch

I love the format of mini puzzle games. Maybe mini puzzle mondays?
I love this concept
I like the multiple games idea but i recommend doing it like how captain sauce did with his "Three Random Games" series where you mention it before hand lol
That has to be the most clever use of fences I've seen in a game.
Looking forward to more of the dog and stick game

I was quite confused by the second game and thought it was an ad or something for a while and scrubbed through the video to realize that was the whole rest of it.
Stick to the plan seems good enough to have it’s own video but because it was a short demo I understand combining with the terms and conditions game
Oh ! Two small games in one video, nice. Would be nice to see that in the title
Wasn’t super interested in the first game and put in on as background noise. However I really liked the dog game. I wouldn’t have seen it if found something else. Two games in one is cool but you should mention it, like split the thunbnail diagonally with a sneak peek of both games played in the video with maybe a time stamp when the next game starts to increase ease of watching
Did you see the demo for Chant of Sennaar ? This game seems promising. The puzzle part is understandinc the language used inside the game.
love the new outro card
2:20 I mentally crossed out "of" and "marketing alerts" as well since I think "To opt out" is enough to assume given the game
At last, a use for knowing some Klingon that comes in handy!
Knowing SOS in morse actually came in useful for a change! Know that O = ---
i always loved the three scary games format, Even better with puzzle games imo
0:05 god damn it, that actually got me lmao
I never thought my languuage would be used in a puzzle game to confuse others
very nice video, aliensrock
dog and stick game reminds me a bit of bonfire peaks, though it appears to be more friendly
Tyler doing two games in one video? Yes please
Excited to see doggo game on here when it releases
i like when the game randomly switches during the video
Oh F00K, this game perfectly captures the absolute frustration with terms and conditions.
double feature, very fun
The jump between the two games was jarring, but both parts were good :)
I was so confused when the game switched but I like it 👍
The dog stick game was really cool!
4:51 I winced when he said the first one was right.
I would be totally ok woth you packaging multiple short games into single videos on occasion.
"I don't know any of these languages" and one of them was klingon :D
I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too late with this but I solved the "I'm feeling lucky" level by clicking inspect, then using the switch and seeing when its HTML element says it's an off switch (as opposed to an on switch) in its CSS/JS classes.
Now i have the three ,the password game,the captcha game and the terms and conditions game
It’s nice that i learn morse code yesterday lol
He's running a gaming show now
i just realized i first started watching this video 3 minutes after it got released
3:50 even when covering the surroundings still the right one looks darker tf
I was like wtf happened when the second game just started because it was so unexpected
2 videos in one!!!
dog game seems to have a similar moving mechanic to that of stevens sausage roll
I think that the E in aliensrock might be dog and stick themed soon
stick to the plan looks rad. can't believe we effectively got a double upload because of it
You should try working with a dev team to make your own puzzle game one day. I'm sure it would be amazing
for some reason that discord ping got me even though it was really quiet
If I had to guess, I would say Frazzz edited most or all of the stick game? He/she was good, maybe a tiny bit overboard with the jokes. I would say dial it back a little so the frequent text doesnt take away from the gameplay, but of course there's always a learning curve with finding the right style. I had to pause a few times. Overall like the editing!
That discord notification got me
TWO IN ONE. Fun.
I started to work on my project in about midway of the video and was very confused how he started to play a puzzle game about a dog and a stick when at the beginning he was rejecting cookies and terms of service
I think the doggy game could be turned into something like can of wormholes where you learn new techniques to solve previous puzzles
this went into a different level of insanity
Thank you tyler for signing away your soul
I did like the two game format, I would just make it more clear from the beginning and having some sort of transition between the two. I jumped a lil 😂
I wish the music on the dog game was a bit quieter. It felt kind of distracting. Other than that the second game has a lot of potential!
3:18 Four months later, this was proven in 5 Step Steve.
I tried this before watching him do a full play through and I can safely say I’m as smart as Tyler.
Did Tyler ever finish Steven's Sausage? I would really like to see him play it if he did.
56 minutes ago, I like that you find games with interesting concepts
damn you tyler, you might as well be my sleep paralyisis demon. It's 2:00 AM and im about to go to bed and i look on my youtube homepage and I see your video, and my brain demands it. In all reality though I love your content
I've been tricked into watching 2 Aliensrock videos at the same time I'm fine with that
2 Games today!!!!
What was the reasoning behind the sequence one?
Second game is called Stick To The Plan
I played a similar game in Business class in 10th grade. It was not optional, but I guess it was fun.
The multi-edit dimension :P
0:04 damnit that got me
Any plans to continue Tandis?
I think if you let us know there will be 2 games in the title/at the beginning of the video it would help. I wasn’t sure if it was an ad for another game that you were sponsored by, then I felt kinda clickbaited into watching something I didn’t sign up for and was a bit confused. A simple “Well that’s the end of this game, and it’s not long enough for a full video so I’m also gonna play XXX game in this video.” But I worry a lot of people will stop watching at that point and will make your watch time drop, maybe negatively affecting your KZread Analytics
I'm happy to see two short games in 1 video, but the transition was a bit jarring. I suppose the intro for the 2nd game wasn't made with the idea of being in the middle of a video & there's not much you can do for that
