Just... Death 13. An user that had experience and really knew what he was doing to get the best out of this stand would be unbeatable as this stand always gets the first shot. It can do literally everything imaginable in it's dream, so you can imagine that it could for example stop time for everyone in the dream (just in the dream ofc). The only ways to beat this stand is to fall asleep with an active stand or to kill the user but nobody would ever expect to be attacked by Death 13 before actually being attacked (and nobody would even know about it or the user) so the only way would be for the user to be killed randomly

Yeah it literally should be OP as hell even with all it's limits as in the dream world the only limits it would have are not being able to directly effect the opponent and the user's imagination. 5min of thinking about it and I came up with generating black holes on top of people, explosions on top of people, making the ground itself into spikes or lava, filling the area with poison gas, any number of traps, removing all light, or just taking away the air.

I feel like Holly's stand was supposed to be similar to Hermit Purple. Cheap Trick would be like a stronger Lovers acording to what you say, if I understood correctly.

If Dio gets any bad stand I guarantee you it'll be a better stand. Think about it.. Dio is the only user in the entire series to use a stand to really fly, and increase his time stop within a few minutes. With Diego's the World, he couldn't fly, he didn't have good speed, and his time stop was only 5 seconds. Dio even wrote a book, or diary on stands. *Dio is the stand master.*

Well I think if Jotaro was the one with that stand he would be strong enough to fight it. Sure he would still be weakened by it so he wouldn't be as strong but I can see him helping the group by working with the speedwagon foundation. He could be strong enough to get some use from it and possibly learn Hamon from Joseph to help recover from stand flair ups. And for Holly if she had a stand that didn't try to kill her I would think she would have a healing stand. It would still be a punching ghost but could heal the rest of the group.

Hermit Purple had so much potential! Joseph only used "spirit audio" once, but really could have used it to get hints on what kind of stand will attack next, who they will attack, and/or some of it's abilities and weaknesses! For a man who can come up with plans as well as Joseph, access to information is very powerful, and Hermit Purple gives that to him. Combine this with it's ability to conduct hamon like a better version of Lisa Lisa's scarf which would allow Joseph to infuse objects with hamon from a distance, act as a kind of hamon-laced armor like in the DIO fight (given its A in durability, I'd assume it'd be pretty effective, too), bury itself underground to lay traps like the string trap in Joseph's fight against ACDC, assume direct control machines from a distance, and basically be a better version of spider-man's webbing and you've got an incredibly versatile stand with limitless potential uses. Too bad Joseph only does these things once a most throughout all of Jojo.

My money on hollys stand wound be on some kinda healing ability. Like accelerated natural healing and/or accelerate of growth. Like, if she uses her stand on a plant or something, she can make it grow stronger. If she uses it on someone or something (something organic I asume) she can make it heal back together faster. I think that would fit her motherly nature very well

Heaven's Door has no limitations as to what can be written that were mentioned, so Rohan could essentially make someone do anything. He could end the manhunt for Kira by writing into one of his friends' books that they kill Kira or something along those lines. His stand is so misused.

I personally like to think that the limitations of what he write into a person is the complexity, like in Death Note. In death note, when you write the scenario to kill people, if the scenario is to bizarre or so out-of-reality to actually happen, the targeted peraon would just died of heart attack. But for Rohan, it's just nothing happens if he write something too weird or impossible. But that's just my HEADCANON

Heaven's Door's ability is to turn people into books, reading their life and turning memories into reality and erasing their minds, etc. Rohan can't just rewrite reality like he can only make them commit suicide he can't instantly kill them. Also, Heaven's Door can only be used in one being like if you write "Josuke will commit suicide" it won't just work. If you are asking how did Rohan sent Cheap Trick to hell well the answer to that is Rohan can choose what will happen to the person on the current situation. And that was my idea!

I dont see why that wouldn't work. Since fate works in a weird way in jojo, as proven in the bites the dust arc, I think fate would come up with some strange scenario that results in the dude accidentally killing Kira.

Araki should make an alternate version of Cheap Trick in the Steel Ball Run universe that works the way you specified. It would be the third Steel Ball Run universe stand to be an alternate counterpart to an original universe stand, after The World and Killer Queen.

Ngl, I think Holly's Stand would be like a mix of Josuke and Joseph. The three abilities I can think of for it are mind reading (she's very thoughful and kind, and can see or read the good in people no matter how hard they try to hide it), healing (she's very sweet and is eager to help people), and ability boosting (she is a very energetic person and wants to empower people for the better). There's no doubt in my mind that Holly's stand would have basically no fighting capabilities, or at least no more than Hermit Purple.

Better yet, what if Rohan wrote “Since Cheap Trick cannot kill, hurt, or damage Rohan in any way, Rohan lives.” It doesn’t matter if he ends up making his own face a book too; the affects would still apply to Cheaptrick and to himself, and since he isn’t exactly being damaged, the only problem with cheap trick would then be trying to get the stand to move to someone that Rohan would hate…like fetishist David Bowie. Although it’d still be a bad stand as anyone who peeks at Kira’s back then gets fucked. Better to write “since cheaptrick cannot attack or kill anyone at all, Rohan survives Cheap Trick.” same affect, better results. The thing just becomes an annoying stand that keeps transferring when someone’s back is stared at, but doesn’t kill anyone else.

Two Stands come to my mind when this subject is brought up: The Hand, because obviously, but also Emperor which, in actuality would be low-key op in the hands of a competent user.

I think holy got a stand that resembles Joseph's stand because she inherited some hamon from him but since she hasn't trained Jotaro didn't inherited any.

I think that Bites the Dust wasn't used to it's full potential. Bites the Dust can be planted and unplanted on anyone. This includes Kira himself. So what if he equipped himself with bites the dust and constantly turned back time to were he originally had his fight with the morioh warriors. Now just say his name and Kira won!

You know it’s hard to make good speculative videos because you need quite some creativity to make these speculations so good job man you made a really creative and interesting video

Most stand users need better users. Josuke can break every single bone in one's body by a touch, but doesn't. Okuyasu can make people disappear, but doesn't (even though it's the one thing he can do). Jotaro can stop time and crack spines, but doesn't. Joseph can instantly know practically everything, but doesn't. Dio can stop time and crack necks, but doesn't. Need I go on?

Jedo Faxa Not particularly, the battles'd just need more effort put into writing. Of course having OP characters do incredibly stupid stuff gives it conflict, but it's artificial at best. If series like Death Note can have their characters at intellectual peaks, so can Jojo's. Hell, keep in dumb characters too, but don't blatantly have your characters forget abilities, you know?

I think the biggest case of an overpowered Stand being brought down by an incompetent user is Red Hot Chili Pepper. Seriously, that Stand is OVERPOWERED AS FUCK. If Akira Otoishi wasn't both a total sadist and an idiot, he could easily have killed every one of his opponents from range, without them ever seeing it coming.

What if Fugo had another stand instead of Purple Haze? or What if Purple Haze had a "better" stand user? Don't get me wrong, I like Fugo but the problem with Purple Haze is his violent nature

The real reason why fugo got purple haze was that he was just too depressed. If Fugo was extremely happy,he would probably get a stand like Crazy Diamond which could fix things. Since stands are manifestation of ones fighting spirit,fugo was just too depressed and thought he had became "dirty" because of his teacher but he wasn't but that "I am dirty" mentality gave fugo purple haze

I'd love to see some speculation on how the crew could fight Dio if Jotaro never gained the world ability

What if Joseph used Hermit Purple as a fakeout, and before DIO realized Joseph wasn’t actually trying to hamon DIO, Polnareff or Jotaro cut off his head similarly to what Jonathan did? Once that occurs, DIO suddenly has no minions to retrieve his head that could speed to his aid in time (they’re all busy stretching DIO’s plan elsewhere), lacks the ability to DO ANYTHING in his timestops, and he’d have to sit there, timestopping and making The World punch at anyone who got too close to him. But then the Joestars end up playing keepaway, guarding DIO. Any minions would be unable to get in range of DIO in time, and eventually, DIO is burned in the sunlight as Jonathan intended him to be. They could even get parts of Jonathan’s body back for a proper burial. Depending on when this plan happens, Kakyoin would survive as well, and after paying dearest respects to Avdol and Iggy, who knows what the group would start pursuing next? They would still pursue the arrows, but how would they split up to deal with Morioh and Passione?

If we operate under the logic that Dio's vampiric power boosts the effectiveness of his stand, what if he had King Crimson with Epitaph instead of The World? Would he be able to predict further ahead in time? Would he be able to skip further in time? Due to being a vampire, would he be overall a better user for it than Diavolo on account of being able to regenerate his wounds? Also, what if Hermit Purple had a better user? Not that Joseph is a terrible user, but he barely ever makes use of it, especially in combat. I severely get the feeling as though the full potential of Hermit Purple was never tapped into. Also I realize I am bringing up a lot of part 3 characters, but what about The Sun? It's user was... Really lame.

Taking a look at the sun’s tarot card, its positive half represents happiness, success, vitality, contentment, and generally resting easy and feeling good. If the sun represented its tarot card rather than the literal center of the solar system, it would probably be more for getting cozy, and still be a very long range stand. If given a more humanoid form, it would be akin to The World with having sheer power and a rather long range compared to others humanoid stands, at the cost of precision (it’s still the sun, and still likely has the “happy and successful” nature that makes users confident enough in destructive power as a stat rather than range) There’s not a lot of ways to MAKE the Sun better. It already seems plenty strong, and that was its problem; not even the user could survive it, so Arabia Fats literally had to hole himself up and sustain himself through The Sun’s affects until the group noticed how absolutely hilarious two identical rocks in the desert were. It’s simply the type of stand that would benefit someone of patience, so if it ended up in the calm hands of someone like Kars or Josuke, it would likely dominate the field with its rays and heat, and not change much beyond having some sort of energy buff as well, like stand enhancement.

Some other stands that were pretty strong but I felt weren't use to their full potential Beach Boy (The user is Pesci from part 5) I'd like to see somebody like Jotaro being able to utilize this stand because of how intelligent and perceptive he is The Emperor (User is Hol Horse from part 3) I think it goes without saying that if Mista was this stands user he would be practically unstoppable, mista can roughly manipulate the bullets with sex pistols but the thing is his gun isn't his actual stand. There's also the issue with Mista being limited to six shots before having to reload (he also has to store physical ammo on him due to the gun not being his stand) Mista could utilize The Emperor in so many ways, essentially removing all cons of his stand. King Crimson (User is Diavolo from part 5) Ok so this may be controversial but I think King Crimson is just too good of a stand for somebody who was too concerned with erasing his past. I find it ironic that KC can skip time into the future but never erase the past. I can just imagine King Crimson as the stand of somebody with a more righteous heart like Giorno or Bruno. Diavolo was a bit too full of himself in a sense and I feel like that ultimately contributed to him losing to Giorno and never getting the arrow. This is even proven by him explaining to Giorno that he deserves the arrow and asking him "who is really worthy?" Diavolo is a likable character with a very interesting concept but honestly he let the power of his stand get to his head.

you need to do a video on if stands had more time to develop: some stands get ridiculous when you consider what would happen if they were left free to roam.

I think that if Holy could use her stand properly, it would be like "hermit purple" exept not reading minds. I think it would act like hermit purple charged with hamon (damaging anyone who touches it, protecting the user).

Pretty sure it can do the latter. The former, on the other hand, is explained by the hand just not having that sheer range on its side. Its hand can only fit so much inside of itself. It’s implied the palm needs to contact things to wipe it, as Okuyasu had to stretch his hand out to touch and wipe Crazy Diamond and Josuke, rather than just push the palm forward and erase every single thing in front of it like some invisible laser beam of “Cream’s” wormhole smashing through walls.

D’arby would attach the stand using one of the poker chips with cheap tricks face on it. They just need to come in contact with it for the ability to cativate

I've always thought that Holly's stand could be something similar to Hermit Purple, considering she is Joseph's daughter and his stand doesn't control plants etc. More so she isn't much of a fighter so it seems unlikely she would use it to control plants and hurt other people. That's just my 2 cents though, we have no real way of ever knowing

Cheap trick could just be like the pylon stand where it is an automatic stand that possesses an object(a back in this case) and can harm anybody, so it could be that the the stand just has this as it's ability and can't be controlled whatsoever similar to the pylon.

What i am curious about is the extent of the hands ability Okuyasu swipes a hand implying that is the way to use it but what about individual parts can his fingers erase space as well? like if you touch something with just a finger will it be erased as well

The World in the hands of Kars. DIO only lost because of his obsession with "playing with his food" If Kars had The World, he would have stopped time, killed the other main characters, then dominated the world with no issues. It's more of the fact that DIO was never serious in any situation and overestimated himself. It honestly led him to be a lackluster villain in my opinion.

Kars got *high* on power, though. The moment he became ultimate, he went full hammy, just like DIO, and fell to his own overconfidence when he wasn’t worried about space, just like DIO kept trying to lose any fear response until he got killed. Every villain gets hungry for extra strength in the series, and it’s always their downfall.

What about Emperor? Hol was bloody useless with it, always needing a partner for no reason!

i think of chesp trick like hierophant green, If you remember hierophant green puppetry was clained to be due to kakyoins isolation and that hierophant green prefered cramped places rather than being in the open.

Think if okayasu used THE HAND and ran a circle around an opponent. They'd get ripped apart or crushed depending on his choice

I would really love The Hand being Johnny's or Gyro's Stand. I don't know why, but I really can see that happening. Especially with Johnny, being paraplejic, The Hand's abilities would help to move. And I think they can combine the Stand with some Steel Ball tricks. It will be really cool. *BUT I LOVE OKUYASU AND ZA HANDO IS HIS PROPERTY THOUGH

I saw this fan manga once called DIO: Ultimate Lifeform. Basically in that manga Holly's stand was plant manipulation and plant mimicry.

d4c. Dont get me wrong, the president did do a pretty good job but he underutilised the fact that 2 people cant exist in the same universe but him. Just go around throwing someone into the other universe with a flag like he did with dio which in turn killed wekapipo. If he just kept doing that technique they would probably have lost. Echoes Act 2 imo stronger than act 3. Write down "boom" and suddenly you've got killer queens first bomb. "Echoes Act 2 has already touched that doorknob." Emporer This should be obvious, an insanely powerful stand wasted on Hol Horse. This stand is basically a better version of sex pistols. (still love Hol Horse tho)
