3:54 is one of the greatest Metallica riffs ever written in my honest opinion. The harmonized guitars just sound so fucking awesome.
Maybe its just the modern tone Metallica uses these days is why people dislike... call me crazy but oldschool thrash production soothes me with energized attention

zwareshag that is exactly what I think, I know that's what I miss. Everything else on this new album sounds great, especially the kick drum, now if they only scooped there tone again to get that classic Metallica Chugg!

I think Hardwired sounds great, way better than this (it's a pretty poor Kill 'Em All in itself). But, there is a sort of warmth to old productions, that makes them sound better than newer stuff regardless. I Think the modern obsession with cleaning up everything has something to do with it.

mrlolster mrlolster i mean, is obvious that is a pure groove riff but in this style to me sound a little bit thrashy and faster, listen close and you can note that the riff join in one part and make a "longer riff" that the original, 5:17 -> "(ta ta ta ta ta ta ta tatatata)" and that is new
I like it, just needs more BASS. The bass was pretty substantial on Kill 'Em All, and probably would have been boosted for a solo like that.

Yeah; to me, the major characteristic of KEA is Cliff’s presence in the mix.
Great sound! But I think RTL would suit this song better. The title track (Hardwired) would be amazing with Kill em all tone.

spit out the bone is basically a modern sounding metal militia. The intro riff is identical to the main riff in metal militia.

It's note quite K'eA, but I really really like how this sounds because its very well performed (really good tempo and pick-timing!). It's very clear and and solid. Nicely done!

Thank you! for doing this!
You got the tone and style absolutely perfect on the solos!
so fucking good , especially the verse !
Yay for re-amping! Very efficient method for recreating all these songs with different guitar tones and effects. And with midi drums, it's easy to put them through different sounding kits without any extra work.
Appreciate these man

When I saw this I immediately wondered what the solo would be like. I was not disappointed!
What a difference production makes. It's like all that matters today is the loudness. I'll take this production any day of the week.
MAN! Wish we could have the old James voice over this. Reminds me of being a teenheadbanger all over again.
drums are slightly too loud. other than that, this is spot on!!

Hello there
The one you did with this song on RTL was the best one man. But this is great too. Hell ya
Perfect fit
Very cool vid! One tone I would love to hear do this song is the original Peace Sells album tone. I think that would be awesome to hear.
You sir are a genius! Only metalhead musicians with a sharp ear will get this
I thought I'm the only one felt that their newest album will sounds "80's" if they had used old 80's classic album's tone...now you have made it..thanks..!!!!..

5:49 this solo is so Awsome i love it 🤘🤘🤘
nice version , hello i am from México :)
cheers!
That solo!!!
I am a Guitar Razze fanboy, but this is awesome
That intro was so heavy my buffer bar went up instantly.
finally ! no wah on a solo!!!!!! sounds freaking awesome!!
I think this is the best classic Metallica tone for this song
This kind of REMIXES are awesome
favorite part : guitar solo pis "double guitar effect" , really brings me back to Kill em all
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my god the vocals would be so awesome for this one🤘

The "other guy" went from less than 1,000 subscribers to over 5,000 in a single hit video, that netted 400k+ views. Before that, his channel had almost no views or subscribers. No offense, GuitarRazze, you're awesome; I'm just wondering why "If Moth to Flame on AJFA" was such a huge hit when the quality of this vid is just as good, yet this vid and the guy who made it don't seem to be having the same kind of luck. Same level of musicianship. Same level of craft. Much smaller reaction. Curious, is all.

They're both good, but as far as the Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning Stuff, I'd say he has GuitarRazze on the hip, for sure.
Seek and Destroy in Black album tones chugging along would be epic or Orion in black album version, even better as its an instrumental already or the four horsemen, justice syle btw your channel rocks, amazing work, its great to have someone put the effort into transform ppls lisening wishes to a reality!!
Ahhhh yes the four horsemen Easter egg in the solo
Sick but the RTL version is the best IMO ;)
Now if only we had James great old school 80s voice on this
The vocals sound like they belong on Justice!! Great song
🤘
Nice tone, but to be truly Kill Em All, Cliff needs to come roaring in with the backbeat and rhythm guitar, and much louder than he was on the next two records. A lot of people miss that detail.
This is so much from the kill em' all . James explain this please😆
I'd like to hear what And Justice For All(the song) would sound like on Master Of Puppets, and others
