Mostly a longer straight segment with a short turned segment, resembling a dog's hind leg. A knight's move in chess could be described as dog leg.

Puzzle games hijacking dopamine systems is crucial to their success. Great game, other puzzle designers have a lot to learn. I think good designers shy away from the eye candy because they are so “above” others they don’t want to do it, but there’s a reason AAA games are fun but mechanically suck. They use incremental randomness and shiny graphics. Imagine a mechanically good game with those same systems. It’s similar to clickbaiting a good video, nothings wrong with it
