I imagine a really good use for this could be honey block farms, where it would entirely remove any and all player intervention, since you could indefinitely feed the leftover bottles back into the bee farm, leading to infinite honey generation without any human touch.

Personally, This is WAY too much work for one comparator. Maybe if it was fast, but imagine if you needed to fill a few skulkers. I would take AGES. I honestly think there should be a specific crafting bench that cant be player used, and has to have hoppers locked and unlocked.

in this system, the more complex the recipe, the slower the machine + harder to make, yeah it is pretty fair , they should do this in vanilla

3 years later, we got it boys. Autocrafting is real. Minecraft is going for another revolution.

Imagine all the hoppers hooked by the respective item like we can use Ray s project of making a farm for every single item in mc and hook them up differentry (some might need smelters etc.) And automating every single recipe MAN that would a one heck of a scicraft project

Benjamin Wahl true, but I suppose you could have individual hours where a shop is restocked. That way the farms are always running, and have a linked storage facility that ships the stock to the store and refills everything when it’s that stores time to be restocked.

Not really because individually yes it is cheaper but put into account that a crafting bench has 9 slots of "Storage" and a chest has 24. So for the same amount of storage, you would need 3 crafting benches to make up the difference in storage space. Which equals 12 planks while a chest is just 8. So my maths tell me that a chest is still cheaper than a crafting bench. But we can then also take into account that the crafting benches to make up for the chest can also be better used as another making it a double chest so instead, it will be 16 planks for 48 storage or 12 planks for 18

the only autocrafter which is really op is the rftools one. it literally can have 8 recipes at once and makes one (if there's enough resources in it) every tick.

I actually understand some of this and felt really smart but I looked down at my math homework and... didn’t fell so smart

that's because you do your homework infront of KZread videos and don't really apply yourself to it. do it with mi imal distractions and focus on it otherwise said homework will not stick in your mind and will be forgotten as soon as you finish it, mostly because your mind will be on whatever entertainment you have going on and will have priority as it activates your dopamine recepters

Now all you need to do is hook up a witch farm, a tree farm and an auto-miner in the overworld and the nether respectively to the machine, and you've got yourself a passive comparator farm! It's quite simple, really.

Most of it could be in the nether with piglin bartering and a gold farm hooked up to it, and the stone could be produced in the over world and nether tree wood for the wood. Very simple indeed

Imagine a factory that completely automates comparator production. We have a witch farm and a bamboo farm to craft redstone torches, a cobblestone farm taking fuel from a bamboo farm to a super smelter to smelt it into stone, then a piglin bartering farm connected to a gold farm which automatically crafts gold tools and nuggets into ingots, which go to the bartering farm, which only sorts out quartz, and then all put into Mumbo's comparator crafter.
