This is why I believe that Mewtwo would be the top at the speed running community here. He’s also very powerful and fast and he is the Pokémon master shit if you was in world tournaments

To be fair, without Red's interference, Giovani would keep the Master Ball, and we know what will happen if Mewtwo shows up unaware.

Unless mewtwo, being the most powerful psychic pokemon ever, would just read Giovanni mind, know what he plan to do, and just stop the masterball in midair when he trows it. Yeah, i know that it’s not how it work in the games. But nothing in the video works how it works in the game, and by simple logic no psychic pokemon sould be able to be even hit by a pokeball as long as they are aware of the trainer intentions and they can still use their psychic powers.

According to Team Rocket Rom hack storyline the master ball alone isn’t enough to capture Mewtwo since he got the ability to dodge the Master Ball, he will only allow himself getting captured by pure hearted and worthy trainer who shows promise that they wont use his power for evil, its technically a legendary pokemon who choses the trainer who is worthy enough for using his power wisely

The fact that Giovanni's pokemon bail on him just goes to show how terrible he is.

Now this could have all been resolved if Mewtwo had been playing Crystal Version, the generation where Dark-Types were introduced.

Or he could use his psychic powers to strengthen the Pokemons self-awareness, so putting them in a ball wouldn't make them friends immediately with their captors. I would enjoy reading a fanfiction where Pokemons gain full sentience (since most of them appear to have it to some degree, I mean, Meowth learned how to speak!) then build a society, while fighting evil humans and finding true friendship with the more understanding humans.

Agreed, I wish there were more games out there that you play as pokemon or steal other trainers pokemon and stuff like that There’s a lot of fun potential for ideas like that!

I mean this sort of takes into account affection levels but honestly, Giovanni loved Pokemon and did treat them right.

It’s really easy to tell that Lorelei truly loved her Pokémon and they cared for her as well. As for Giovanni…

So Mewtwo hated regular Pokemon, not as much as he hated humans, but he still viewed them as extremely inferior. Hence, his whole plan to make clones, because they were like himself, superior to the originals.

when the starters escaped they called there selfs the starter trio and along the way charmander kills the whole line of catapillers

Just ONE *DARK TYPE* and it ALL, comes, crashing, down! Also it’d be nice to see more Pokémon liking there trainer, and being angry about them getting hurt.
