MESSI is the strongest player on the ball in the world, probably ever: muscular strength with a low center of gravity and unrivaled balance. No one else has ever been able to get fouled and play right through it with such regularity. Opposing players struggle to pick up their desired yellow cards because he runs right through their tactical fouls. (anyways: I think your videos are brilliant and it is mind blowing you don't have 10 million subscribers because you do the most accurate, in-depth, and easily-digestible analysis anywhere...consider spanish-language versions)

Sorry to say but stat padding by scoring a hat trick against some relegation threatened team from Spain doesnt warrant Ballon dOr. Times have changed and so has the criteria for Ballon dOr. Cry all you want about it but his team performed poorly in the world cup and UCL, the two competetions which actually matter. As long as he doesnt win one of those two, forget your 60 goals and 24 assists, he aint winning the Ballon dOr.

Typical Messi fan...exaggerating the stats. He never scored 60 goals(Scored 45-level with Cristiano). Won all domestic tournaments (Even Mbappe, Greizmann won 3 domestic tournaments with the WORLD CUP). Didn't even do anything notable in both the tournaments where the best players are involved (UCL & WC). He is the victim of his own shortcomings which is performing in big tournaments without Xavi and Iniesta.

The point of Messi playing well with a combative striker is incorrect as Messi's best season was at the false 9 in 11/12 with Fabregas as 10. In the Cruyff 3-4-3. He scored 73 that year. Also, when Mendy plays, usually, city's left winger comes inside and forms a two man strikeforce/ a 3-4-3 so Messi in that system could technically play up top and Aguero could drift inside with Mendy on the outside. I don't think it is smart to make messi play that far away from the goal. He is arguably one of the best finishers in the world. Having him play at Bernardo Silva's position will mean that Messi will have less chances of shooting on goal. If you have messi on your team, you want him to be able to have shots on goal because most of the time, they will go in. That's why at Barcelona he has never played behind 3 forwards.

Right of centre midfield maybe, like the idea of a false winger/midfielder and with the defence occupying the front three, that could give him freedom to do his thing or create from mistakes if the defence is focused more on blocking him out of the game.

It's ironic that you are unwilling to drop aguero but would be droping an even better kevin de bruyne to accommodate messi at rcm.

Gokul Ramesh it’s not about comparing Sergio with de Bruyne .. messi can do the same job as de Bruyne at RCM if not better .. but may not completely replace aguero’s job as a striker ..

In the creative part yes..but de bruyne will have more to offer as a centre midfielder,city will lose more from replacing de bruyne with messi than aguero,who is more dispensable imo..

Yeah Messi at City would never work, sadly. Too much talent to accomodate in one squad. I mean yeah, tactically it could I guess but in reality? No.
