I feel like we didn't discuss how this changes Rhaenyra and her sons relationship with Viserys. I feel like after this she might not trust Viserys, she can still remember that Viserys ordered a knife be taken to her mother. I feel like this would reopen old wounds.

I don’t think that matters, I’m assuming the guards are the Kingsgaurd meaning Coryls opinion is irrelevant. Second I doubt Coryls would start his own war with Viserys over this. Because many already see this as acceptable justice, and the fact it’s an open secret that Luc is a bastard.

Yes at this time he has more wealth than the Lannisters, also Vhagar isn't as useful at this time as you think. Aemond can't ride her at this time due to the injury also Daemon and Rheanny's would be more than a match for Vhagar, and Syrax at this time is more than capable of soloing Sunfyre (especially considering how drunk Aegon always is) also Seasmoke is present remember blacks always had more dragons, Dreamfyre isn't even a factor (rider won't fight so dragon will stay put or fly off). On top of that that's even assuming they get to their dragons. Pretty sure half the guards in the room are Corlys's and only Four King's Guard are present. Daemon can easily handle Cole. Many seem to forget Daemon only lost in the Tourney because he started celebrating before forcing Cole to surrender.

I don't think you typically get to pass off punishment to another child like that at least if you've already admitted to doing the thing you've been punished for. If anyone were to sub in for punishment it would be Rhaenyra.

I wonder what would've happened if Aemond either survived or killed Daemon. Would he have become king or would he be in line for the throne after Aegon and Viserys (Rhaenyra's sons)?

2:10 to be fair the old king only allowed a select few to own dragons and those who died had their dragons passed on to those of extremely close relation like father to son or aunt to niece or uncle to nephew. All the dragons are passed on once its agreed the ypung Targaryen is ready unless they had a hatchling. Also the Dragons stand as a symbol of whom they are riding Vhagar historically with the exception of Laena in the show has always claimed warriors as her rider Visenya Prince Baelon and Aemond all have those characteristics. I did think it was unfair for Aemond to slink in and claim Vhagar in the show but it is what it is and no one can criticize his bravery

I don't think Rhaeynra would forgive Alicent outside surface politeness, because there is a difference between children fighting and one got maimed because things went too far and forcing a mother to watch an adult intentionally maiming their child. A mother does not forgive that! Rhaeynra would have gotten the message that her position and children were not safe no matter what. And Alicent would have known that and gotten that any war between the Blacks and Greens was going to go hot the second Viserys died no matter who was officially heir and it would have been her fault for demanding Luc's eye and not teaching Aemond consequences as yes he had a right to claim, but his timing smacked of spoilt brat. If he had done so on any other night he might have not lost an eye. Luc losing an eye in this manner would cause the war to got hot earlier because it will no longer be about the crown it will be two mothers fighting for their family's survival (not just Alicent thinking that way) because the Blacks and the Greens know that each side will wipe them off the board.

As for the video itself, it’s fine I guess? Lucerys living in the dance might change things? If Lucerys could’ve lived until Aegon-II recapture Kinglanding, weather he kill Lucerys or not? He’s half blind cause one of his nephew felt insulted and brought out a knife and the other one, that was evidently to small to get himself into fights he couldn’t understand, got scared . It is logical that 8 year old Luke got scared and reacted that way, it is not for us, audience that have all the information, to act like his assumption of the events was the absolute truth.

He either has to remove Rhaenyra as heir, have Laenor humiliated as a cuckold, and basically get rid of her boys, OR he has to punish Aemond for treason. Given he has never had any intention of replacing Rhaenyra, he would have to kill Aemond.
