I wish 2k realized how awesome it would be if they put in the effort to actually restart the league and have an association mode where you can pick what year you start. And the draft classes are actually accurate to the times. I would be so interested to see what happens and would run it all the time

Speaking of trades to the Bulls, apparently there were two times in his career where Kobe wanted to get out of LA for the Bulls and both times the trade fell through. Once because the Lakers wouldn't agree to any offers, and a second because Kobe wanted to play with Luol Deng but the Lakers wouldn't trade him without getting Luol in return. I always wonder what would have happened if that went differently. It'd mean no Rose in Chicago, and the MJ vs Kobe memes would be endless.
