Yeah I wish he played it out to the present. I would've wanted to see how it changed the league up to the present just to see what teams were winning championships up to now.

So basically, It doesn't matter whether he's on the Lakers, Hornets or Celtics. It doesn't matter if it is real life, a "What If" scenario or a simulation. As much as I like his videos, he predicted so many things in this video, that one hit ain't special. Dirk not drafted by Dallas is so unlikely as the Mavs were the only team expecting to receive a good player. Few draft picks later wouldn't have changed their pick as they would have done like everything to trade for him, if someone had picked him before (which is unlikely as no one else had ideas of his talent). Kind of crazy as he had dominated the Nike hoop summit in 1998, but in the draft few months later, Dallas was the only team that was really willing to get him. That is only 1 example. In general, I don't think Kobe on the Bobcats would have transformed the league into something totally different like Jimmy's scenario here. Imagine how many teams had more than 70 wins in his scenario, while in reality only 2 teams in NBA history have done it.

Bill Russell > Wilt Chamberlain I learned this via 2k19 ^^ Look it up. Everyone contemporary with them said Russell was better. When matched up, Russell usually won and outplayed Chamberlain. Wilt was a natural phenomenon, but Bill was the better player. So Wilt would probably average 35 and 20, play for the Midwest Whatever and never see Finals OR play for a team that is named Warriors and win every year. Pretty simple these things...is the player in question god himself or a direct descendant from the heavens above? No? So he won't beat the Dubs, I guess.

That’s a video game and the only reason he beat wilt most of the time was bc his team was basically the 60’s warriors but better. And Wilt would be even more dominant today bc back then you couldn’t bully in the paint imagine wilt as a way more athletic Shaq. I mean the dude could bench 500 lbs, ran a 4.6 40 yard dash, had a 48-50 inch vertical, had a 7’7 wingspan, and averaged more minutes in a game than there were minutes in a game I mean cmon. RIP Mamba. When the news of the helicopter crash came through i was stunned. Im British of Irish heritage so im a Celtics fan but the loss of Kobe still hit me like a fucking truck. And in this simulation i cant imagine how much i would have loved Kobe in the white and green of Boston.

I only have 3 complaints: (1)The regular season records for those teams seem very unrealistic. It’s hard to picture 6-7 teams winning 60+ games (2)Assuming everyone’s career pans out close to reality, it’s hard to picture anyone wanting to form an overpowered superteam (I.e. Paul Pierce signing with the Celtics after already having Paul, Kobe, and Dirk who were all in their better years still). The 4 star idea wouldn’t start until around the time KD signed with the Warriors, so about 2016. (3)I highly doubt that with all the rosters skewed and with neither the Heat nor the Spurs making many drastic moves in this scenario (at least compared to the Celtics, Cavs, Clippers, Rockets, Suns, Nets, etc.), it’s very unlikely that in 2013 they would both make the Finals with the same exact outcome as in real life.

Supermariohoops24 I think that if nola refused to trade Kobe he would simply join the Lakers 3 years later as a free agent so ultimately just everything he already did in real life. To play in italy i think was just a bluff he wouldn't go to play in italy just to force the trade. But I think Kobe would have join shaq through free agency

M4jestic Squad I said star, not allstar. Typically a star is basically a guy that could contend for the mvp based off his individual skill level. I feel like you’re a star if you’re a top 20 player in the league, which might be true for the Warriors. Ray Allen was never top 20 in the league when on the Celtics. And Rondo wasn’t really around that until Pierce and KG had faded out of it.

Ideas I'm not going to say D Rose will never make a comeback but it won't be like a big comeback. He ain't gonna shock the world, become an all star again and drop his mvp numbers. There's like a 2% chance he'll be an all star again. He has the capability of averaging a 20 - 5 - 5 but that's about it. And you have to understand his age, he's getting old, he's already 30. Most of his abilities to score are relied upon his athleticism. Who knows how athletic he will be 2 years from now.

This seems a little on the fantasy side of things. There is no way all of these super teams are built. I doubt the Celtics would even hang on to Dirk since they traded 2 of their top picks within like 2 years. Not to mention that LA big 4 definitely wouldn’t happen. And Kobe would stay in Charlotte because he himself said that he would play anywhere. His agent just told everyone that so he could go to LA and have more opportunities for advertisements. I’m not trying to take away from him or his content but this just seems a little too unrealistic.
