I think people give sam raimi/tobey maguire a little too much credit. Spiderman 1 (2002) IMO is the best Spider-man movie from sam raimi. And to be honest, looking back at it after so many years, it was good, pretty good. Maybe even great for a comic book movie. But as far as movies go, this honestly doesn’t really hold up very well. If this really is the script for the James Cameron spiderman, then I would’ve much rather have seen this. Don’t get me wrong, I think Sam Ramis spiderman is iconic and always will be, but Leo is a better actor, and James Cameron is probably a better director (I haven’t scene other raimi films)

Arnie will be reprising his role as Uncle BOB, just like regular uncle Ben, but with additional steroids and a robotic accent and Celine Dion gonna sing the main themes.

I actually prefer *T.A.S.M.* films first and foremost, with the M.C.U. iteration as my runner-up, and Nicholas Hammond as my rookie, so I think I'd prefer this one too over Raimi's old trollogy.
