Wow. It is highly likely this is the best montage I've seen in at least a decade. Between the gameplay, music selection, editing (which at least two or three segments had me like 😮😮😮 for editing alone) this was a masterpiece. Props to your editor, be that yourself or whomever else. As a fan of bows, GLs, and film work/editing this hit me on so many levels. The rewind/redo segment starting at roughly 4:35. Disgustingly cool and neat idea for section. Fantastic use of the of song breaks and what not all throughout. Keep up the great work putting bow smash mouth gameplay content.

i think its the lack of proxy nades that hurts fighting. That said, I'm sure there are people that could make a bow lion build disgustingly strong.

No reason to use lion over a special GL, especially when you shoot the GL after the Bow shot. Making the catalyst from lion useless. You'd have enough special ammo from a regular GL most of the time, deals more damage, and has proxy nade for consistency. Not to mention having to reload the GL every time is not ideal.

The match cut at 4:58 was amazing. Such a good montage. I wish I had your snap target acquisition instead of just spazzing out when I see a lot of people and throw arrows into walls. The GL swaps were also way too clean.

In my journey mastering a bow, I started as most probably do... Lame n sitn back team shooting. Now I'm at the stage where my Bow is almost treated as a handcannon. Not yet as aggressive as you... N time... Got sick of seeing a ocean of handcannon sniper & shotguns. I am feeling the bow, now I am often top fraging... Scared to enter your lobbies lol, imagine it would be a struggle just to break even lol. Enjoy the content & your editing was on point!

I think people would panic/cry about the thought of ricochet arrows cuz of storm/scatter arrow from Overwatch 1. But if it is an exotic special/heavy weapon I won’t complain as much imo cuz you can’t pair with stuff like fighting lion for unlimited amount of poke/chip damage

​@HynraCanFly I can see were you're coming from but with the way bungie has been making newer perks for weapons with extremely limited perk pools I can see them coming up with something ricochet based with some utility but mainly there for the monsters in pvp that just try something to see if it works and hit a spicy clip lol. Kinda like most clips you see where someone lands the ricochet shot with a sniper or non boosted throwing knife; No doubt some people have practiced the angles and been waiting for the opportunity but most people just pull the trigger and hope to see it in the feed lol. Hopefully when they go to rebalance bows they don't shift the need for draw time in the wrong direction and we get more bow specific perks that make build crafting around a bow more interesting. I love using bows in general for specific things but your "choices" on everything are extremely limited since reload barely helps in the grand scheme of things like most non draw time masterworks, bottoming out draw time is the end goal, and the one shot damage perk options usually fall to harmony and swash with radiant in the mix. It's like snapshot on snipers; makes it really difficult to look at any other perks in the slot unless there's some juiced aim assist shenanigans you can pull off and get your handling elsewhere.

This is what I do. I hipfire the bow and play agressivly. What's funny is I don't swap to anything else. My choices of bows for this playstyle is hipfire grip(enhanced perferably) with opening shot(also enhanced perferably) any lightweight you like. I personally like tyranny of heaven. Also use hipfire grip mods on all bows. And if you really want that perfect in air accuracy with bows even while hipfiring, use wings of sacred dawn. They give perfect in air accuracy even while hipfiring. So if you pair that with heat rises just for the ability to shoot while gliding. Also there is a bug with wings of sacred dawn and solar bows. Whenever you proc tome of dawn and get a kill it glitches out the aim of the bow. HOWEVER this only effects you when while tome of dawn is active which only procs when you ads. So if you only hipfire you don't need to worry about it. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. Any questions
