To be fair our cognitive-intellectual modernity started around 40k-80k years ago, so we got the hang of it relatively quickly once we passed that crucial threshold.

The number of people is probably one of the main factors. Egypt alone had more people 5 000 years ago than all of humanity 10 000 years ago. And humans didn't have writing, trade or complex cultural structures

I like this scenario since it's interesting to see how humans would get around if they evolved in a different place than our world. Humans could have evolved anywhere they can survive and I do think that it's possible for humans to have evolved in multiple places at once especially, if we came from the ocean from a ancient ancestor from the waters. Though it will take more research and discoveries to get the full picture. Either we come from one place on this planet, multiple, or even from the stars or god. Learning about our own history is truly fascinating and I love to learn more about it.

My theory on how the south pole people go so powerful is that where they placed their first settlement and their first villages was on the right time and the best location, Antarctica is a long stretch of land unlike the Americas with their mountains and unstable landscape to small for a good settlement and plus south pole got a huge bonus since they cut off Antarctica before it reach other parts of the land the south pole took advantage and use all that land for dominance
