I have an interesting proposal, and feel free to call it stupid. What if by some chance earth was discovered by blazing a route to the unknown regions, lets say about 80BBY or so, but also 2000AD earth time? How would the republic react to a decentralized planet with strong military traditions and the ability to destroy themselves while being the gateway to the unknown? Would they treat it like a more "Friendly" Mandalore? And how would we act personally, knowing that there are humans in outer space that aren't from earth? Would Damaskus just be a fancy Earth term for Beskar? Would Chef Ramsey challenge the Galaxy for top chef? It would be a longer, maybe a series length exploration and I know some people have already gone ahead and done some stuff like this, but I would personally like to see your version.

The interesting thing about Thrawn was that he inspired loyalty from his men. In the EU, after his death, his ideals live on through his men. Due to this, decades later, the empire technically won.

What If Thrawn stayed with anikan and joined the republic in the clone wars? We could see him work his way up through republic ranks and he may even uncover Palpatine's sith secret

I loved this one. Having Thrawn, probably the most brilliant military tactician in the Empire, join the Rebellion from within the Empire was inspired.

It would have been interesting if Thrawn had convinced the Imperial remnant to recognize the New Republic. He would have kept a power structure intact to defend the Chiss from whatever existential threat was waiting for them underneath his rulership, while also maintaining peace in the galaxy.

What if Yoda took Luke to Dagoba when former grandmaster went into exile. Of course using this opportunity to train Anikan's son from birth. You know, the most logical thing to do!

Luke made the choices he did because he was raised to be a good, hard working person. Owen and Beru are the secret heroes of the saga for bringing him up well enough to pity Vader.

This was cool. What if Ezra fell to the darkside. There are a couple spins you could take. Maul. The Holocron. The Grand Inquisitor. Sheev.

Maul and holocron seems the critical turning point. Kanan is blind and bit mopy Ezra literally makes a storm trooper pilot commit suicide after gunning down his comrades. He's really desensitized at that point. He's learning the dark side in secret. He's kinda like exar kun. Actively using the dark side in presence of one sith lords but on the edge before he fully embraced it. Just instead of spirit he's got a holocron of lord of betrayal? It was kreia rigjt?

@@leopoldo_swf178 yes it’s the ones by Timothy Z, apparently only the younger females keep their “second sight” until their teenage years. ( except for a small amount of exceptions) Now in the case of Thrawn, he is not shown to be force sensitive at least in the newer books in such as “Lesser Evil”. Now if Thrawn was force sensitive it could’ve played a huge roll in his relationship with Palpatine and possibly could’ve changed the entire story when Anakin met him in the time of the prequels, if he did find out he was force sensitive. Nobody has to agree but I think it would be a fascinating what if

Grand Admiral of the Republic, Grand Admiral Thrawn would ensure that the Vong would be wiped out as well as any threat afterwards. Grand Admiral Thrawn would as well train an entire generation of Republic military leadership

What i like about admiral thrawn is how he could have done this. He single handedly almost won against the new republic if he wasnt killed. Super cool

I think it would have been even more poingant for Thrawn to ultimately lead the last Imperial remnant to its ultimate destruction at the cost of his own life. His true value to the rebellion only being known to a few carefully placed agents. Ke would tell the crew of the ghost, Ahsoka and whatever double agent still alive to keep his involvement a secret, to bolster faith in the new Republic rather than having them continually wondering if the apparent defeat of the Empire was just another manipulation. Thrawn would die as a villain to let the Republic cherish its victory. Those few who knew the truth would raise a quiet toast to the man who led the rebellion to victory as the rest of the galaxy celebrated his death as the ultimate defeat of the enemy.

What if Ahsoka was sentenced for execution, but Anakin attempted a rescue (could be successful or unsuccessful)

What if Maul and Dooku worked together to kill Palpatine? What if the Hutts formed a United 3rd power during the Clone Wars? What if the Empire never discovered the rebel base on Hoth?

Wow…just Wow. This is very true to Thrawn and what he’d do in this scenario. Well done on capturing his character.

Thing is Obi-wan was the on that pushed for Anakin to become a Knight in the clone wars. So it would require Obi-wan to hold Anakin back much like the rest of the Jedi council.

Honestly I would personally see Thran joining the rebellion not due to morals but he would see the very advantages the rebellion had with better starfighters for example. (Edit) I love the angle of him becoming a fulcrum agent in all but name.

Here’s one just cause, what if Thrawn was the chosen one. We might as well try and make a story for every charcter in this universe and ask this question.

I can’t recall if you already did a what if video on this but here’s an idea I had: What if Vader got the death star plans at the end of rogue one?

I honestly have to admit, being halfway through, this also would be the best way to get the rebels into one spot, and drop 3 ssd's and full combat fleets atop the ship, and eliminating a large cell of rebels too.

Imagine this. If there was a Star Wars reality where the new canon version of Thrawn that Timothy Zahn created in recent novels had joined the Republic instead of the version from Legends version, then the Empire, Admiral Daala, the reborn Palpatine, Yuuzhan Vong, Darth Caedus and Abeloth will not stand a chance.

I feel like these videos just get better and better. I love in depth they go. A lot of other theory videos last around 10-15 minutes or are broken up into parts, but you make videos for the whole package! You’ll reach 50k in no time!

For those that don't know who Thrawn is I highly recommend the EU books from 1991-1993. Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. He's the perfect Villiain who contrasts Vader and Palpatine.

Dude, found your channel and started watching. Realized how good it was after the first video I watched, What If the Sith Empire Returned During The Clone Wars. I watched a few more videos, then decided screw it, I’m going to subscribe to this man. You did a fantastic job as always on this video. So I decided to pose a video idea. What If Revan Returned after Return of the Jedi? It’s actually a story concept I’m in the process of making myself, and would love to hear your take on it. Imagine if Thrawn is working with Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars. That would be so epic and more awesome.

What if the Chiss Ascendancy JOINED the Republic just prior to the Clone Wars? Would Sidious and Dooku initiate the sepratist war? Would the Jedi take Chiss children into the order to help them develop? Would the Galaxy unite to battle the Grysks? Would Anakin be torn between Padme and a Chiss ambassador?

This one was really good you always make what ifs the feel authentic if that makes sense it feels like real starwars you deserve all these subs and fast growth your the best

This Story is...WOW...i can't believe something like this would go down,sure i know it could happen, but this...would of happened if he Joined the rebellion and this is truly amazing in it's own right unlike the other what ifs. keep up the good work, your are true legend, and with skills like this maybe you should make a what if you were in star wars and played a big role and even go up against thrawn or Vader or rebuild the a version of the old republic Havoc Squad or a version of the sith empire that fight the empire it self in a way..but still keep it up!😁😇😆👍

This is more like Legends Thrawn than most think. He was only working with Palpatine to save his people from the Vong, and it was this loyalty that made him so ruthless, not the "Callous Disregard for Others" that others think it is.

litle flaw, Thrawn discovered that Darth vader is Anakin Skywalker after events on Atollon - Book "Thrawn: Alliances" and thinking about it, i belive that Thrawn joining rebel alliance is almost 100% after events of Alderaan, because him realizing, that Emperor will do that to anyone who defy. And Chiss, with all tier stubbornness in some things, will certainly do. And threat to his people is something Thrawn NOT tolerate. But, plot armor, aka space whales....

considering that thrawn's mission was to get military aid from the empire to assist the chiss' ascendency against a threat that was yet to shown itself to the galaxy, he probably woulda joined the rebel; had the rebel's military power out-weighed the empire's military power during the time of the galactic civil war and the new republic. at the same time, having dis-stain for the emperor for purposely holding him hostage while waving the small chance for support to be given to thrawn and his people; he would've gladly betray the emperor for toying with him. And unlike most appointed crew and troop members under a imperial officer, thrawn's crew and troops highly respected the grand admiral for both being brilliant and a leader to admire.

I thought with just his general attitude and the way he appreciated art and the such, that after callus he would have defected as well. He seemed far to in-tuned with the world not in like an evil way but in a way that would preserve it. Ezra sucked the whole time. But if season 5 ever came I was hoping for a zeb and callus moment, but withe Ezra and thrawn.

Just a small correction the rebels unit was the spectres (not ghost squadron) who joined phoenix squadron

to be fair ... you don't need to change Thrawns morality all that much ...just his reasoning a bit. From what I know his highest loyalty was to the Chiss So if he comes to conclusion that in the Long term the Chiss would be treated no different than the Twi'leks or the Wookies he'd probably take the only way out to save his people from slavery

What if Darth Plagueis lived for centuries or millennia influencing events from behind the scenes

what if the black hole turned into a worm hole instead? or maybe year after its creation the blackhole begins to experience changes to the point it turns into a wormhole that leads maybe to another galaxy or someplace unexplored?
