Yep except we have literally no explanation as to the origins of kaioken, why literally nobody else uses it aside from goku and why king kai is the only one ever to know the technique.. The one thing that we do know is that it "unsettles" the ki or whatever, meaning that combining it with the calm state of ultra instinct would make literally no sense. But then again this is super we're talking about.

@@stingsdoesntit5390 I agree, in dbs there’s a small likely chance that akira adds a formation to Mui. This is a small reference from the chapters from before. When whis thought Goku how to go ultra instinct without bein* in the form, he had super Saiyan, 2,3, god and blue ALL mastered before he learned how to go ultra instinct without the transformation, so MAYBE if goku somehow adapts to either ultra instinct or kaioken, he can use 2 at the same time without losing control of either again. But of course, this includes gokus physicality, which probably will not last knowing the situation he is in currently with gas. But yeah, really small chance ultra instinct is gonna go together with any transformation!

I just hoped that Goku is like this. Him learning from his past mistakes and maturing as time passes, that not every villains will changed and atone from their wrong doings. Then Goku not giving a crap or slight of mercy towards ungrateful and remorseful enemies while also giving them a mocking beating and sarcastic humor are still one of the awaited moments in the heart of a true Dragon Ball and Goku fan.

Yep, we actually got that Goku in Dragonball GT (since I got the voice lines from it lol), but we didn't appreciate it back then. I hope he turns into that kind of person in the future arcs.

​@@stephky22 I still hold firmly that the baby arc from gt is better than pretty much every arc from super, and it had nothing to with akira toriyama. Mildly hot take: Akira slowly got worse at writing dragon ball until the majin buu saga, every work he's produced after that pales in comparison. People need to remember that toyotaro is just the artist lol.

The thing is that Goku DID mature by not killing his opponents. When he was a kid he had no trouble killing his enemies left and right, but as he matured, so did his outlook on life. By showing mercy to his opponents, he gained great allies like piccolo, vegeta, and majinn buu. He just needs to stop giving more than two chances to his enemies-like, frieza, which I was surprised he didn’t blow a hole through his head as gogeta.

I've always loved this cunning personality that Goku has at certain points. Man becomes a total badass at that point

In the Anime with MUI it wouldn't work, since the Form isn't Purely Calm In the Manga, Kaio-Ken would work with CUI, as CUI is Calm, as Calm as his Base and has the needed Ki Control

Since Ultra Instict Sign can use some emotion and power-stressed, it's not unreasonable for him to use Kaioken with True UI.

That was actually better than what they actually decided to write for it in the manga!

That's insane ultra instincts kaioken that's so cool infact i believe that goku is the powerful being in the entire world i mean its obvious he loves to fight and trains but still he really surpassed his limits that's impressive

In the Manga Kaio-Ken could work on Completed UI, because of UI having a Calm Heart and Mind, which is needed for Kaio-Ken, unlike the SSJ forms, even with Grade 4 being a Calm form, all from 1 to Blue are not Calm unlike in the Anime

Wasn't the spirit bomb the one where he needed the calm mind, he only sayed that he can't use it with super saiyan because of the burden on the body, with blue his ki is more under control and doesn't take that much effort

@@ryudarkness4564 no Spirit Bomb or Genki-Dama only needs a Pure Heart, so he can only do it in Base Form and maybe in SSGod, since the SSJ, SS2, SS3 and SSBlue forms have a bit of Evil in them, maybe he can pull it off with UI too

@@tay14741 it's not really 'evil' as such, it's just that getting angry (which is required to access the ssj forms) makes you impure, and because of that, it makes you incompatiable with the spirit bomb. it was stated in the super android 13 movie

@@fatherpucci1675 well the answer is death 🤷 If he used both he would die immediately, he used anger while using UI in the T.O.P and nearly killed himself on both occasions. Kaioken would multiply that stress on his body, therefore multiplying the damage he takes from UI being used imperfectly

@@tay14741 it requires that because it's forcing out the opposite. It requires control because it is forcing your body beyond its limits. UI is as strong as it is because it's not enhancing his power, only making use of his whole body, they still follow his natural limitations because anything more will tear himself apart

That's very awesome to see but I'm pretty sure that if he use kaio ken on his UI, it might strain his body, just like Super Saiyan Blue Kaio Ken

Goku has alot of things he could do for a power boost but his body can't handle this yet

I'd say currently for the Manga Completed UI Kaio-Ken x4 Goku = UE Vegeta Mostly because UE Vegeta thanks to Spirit Control from Yardrat has a Higher Base than Goku and we saw his UE being above Goku's UI so far
