Oswald Mosley was never really a fascist. He believed in Democracy and the Monarchy, but wanted the Monarchy to have overall power which during WW2 they did not have.

Mosley and Mussolini hated hitler as he said weird stuff like superior aryan race and when they found something on one of there expeditions to Tibet Himmler thought it was an ancient relic which made Mussolini laugh a lot

Yeah, Mussolini and Hitler were enemies at the start, Italy supported Austrian independence and was against German expansionism, if the allies were not such a bitch the Italians would have supported them against Germany.

@@GigaNietzsche I mean he did do some badass stuff like he walked out as the surrender terms were being signed at the french armistice which a french general had done at the treaty which ended ww1,Be the only troop to survive in his battalion and survived many artillery shots directly

Mosley didn't "hate" Hitler. He was on amicable terms with him, and Hitler attended his wedding. More of a "gotta get as many allies as I can" thing though. He had much more in common with Mussolini, Franco, etc

I really like the concept, but I would prefer if it was on non-historical focuses, because I think it would create a greater variety of scenarios. Germany's win in this scenario was predictable because the allies didn't properly form, but if France had made the Little Entente, maybe things would have been different. Oh and thanks for making the nations follow their proper path! Seeing democratic Germany do Rhineland or the British Empire still do Steady as She Goes are one of the most cursed things possible 😂

ayo chew, if u type "debug_smooth" and "weather" on the console it makes hoi4 run twice as fast. (debug_smooth will always b enabled untill u disable it, but weather has to be disabled every single time u start a new game, arguably debug_smooth is the most effective one at speeding up the game, weather just makes late game less laggy in terms of FPS)

Opinion doesn't mean a single thing in hoi4. It's almost purely cosmetic. The only reason for opinion really is so you can only get attaché on nations that align with your ideology

I think it would be interesting what would happening if you made each country non-aligned with each government having a perfect split with each ideology having 25% popularity and seeing which nations flip to which ideas

It would be fun to watch a run where ALL Navies and aircraft and equipment is destroyed at the beginning of the game. Start everyone off with nothing but rocks!

historical focuses is just broken for political if you swap the government. It would be better to keep historical on but modify the tree so that political ideas have the historical bias removed, and are influenced based on ruling party instead

@@The_Midnight_Bear You can do this. You do the civil war, it doesn't matter whether you keep or dissolve the Zemsky Sobor, you have to do the focus Church Candidates and then complete True Heir to the Empire to become the Third Rome and put Meletius in control.

There would have been no German invasion of the Low countries, or Norway and Denmark. Hitler invaded them to beat the British invasion. Had Moseley been PM, France would have been left by Germany after victory and Truce. Poland woulg have been made smaller and given her own government.

as focusses are the drive of this game, I dont think hoi4 translate aswell to your format of the eu4 videos, maybe just press A historical and like give bulgaria 200 mills and civs or something, go a bit crazy

I enjoy the concept, but i suspect that HOI4 is too railroad-y because of the focus tree system. A lot of focuses also have ideology percentage requirements, resulting in accidental lockouts out of large sections of their tree, and opinion between countries matters very little in the game (in my opinion). Idk, i think maybe this would work better if you turned on non-historical AI, but manually through the game setup rules desginated the focus paths as historical for all of the nations save for the "topical nation" of the video. Idk, i really enjoy the focus system of HOI4 and how it affects game progression, but it really does make the AI super finnicky and prone to breaking scenarios in particularly uninteractive ways.

The focus tree system is really awesome for telling stories and forcing players to make build choices in their priorities for game progression, but it miserably does it make HOI4 the most uncooperative historical sandbox of all Paradox titles.

Yes, fighting germany is always a challange. Even if you reject the demilitarisation of rheinland as france it's pretty hard to beat germany even when it's this early.
