i like the fact that every time kasey draws a new character, she always gives them a personality to match to the point where the characters are their own people and i think that really cute because you don’t see that that much in art now!

??? Do you not follow character artists? So many artists give their characters personalities and such even if they just draw them once. But I do agree, I really enjoy videos where Kasey designs characters. It is fun to watch and she seems to have fun as well.

I love Kaseys art, and I'm a fan of her art, but you're so wrong. sure she does that but allot of artists give their characters personalities, (basically what the first reply said) not just her. I hate how people act like she is the most original artist ever and everything she does is a new thing, because it isn't, just sayin'.

Casey, “not the most creative design” needs to get pushed out of your vocabulary. We wouldn’t be here admiring your art, and loving your creativity, if we didn’t think it was amazing! I wouldn’t have draw it like that so I think it’s very original. 🥰

I can see a relationship between water and earth. Water gives her a hard time and tries to encourage her to come out of her shell more. Maybe even douses her in water to try to “polish her up” and go out and have fun.

The tree man’s denim jacket reminds me of when trees grow around forgotten objects like bikes etc... it’s almost like someone hung up their jacket on a tree and it grew into it!

This is such as great idea . . . there is such a variety in accessories and each characters' design is so unique. I love when we get to hear the artist's thought process when designing characters. 😊 That being said, idk, is wood really an element?? 🤔😂

If you get deeper into astrology there is precedent, wood and metal elements are a thing. I’m pretty sure it has more to do with an alchemical tradition and has its own logic.

I love all the characters! The wood man reminded me of a character in a show called Hilda! It’s on Netflix and it’s a kids show! The art styles are pretty similar and I think you would like it.

No, but they do keep pets around. There's Appa, the flying bison, Momo, that little peach-loving lemur who's just there to look cute and be silly, and 75 years later there's that polar bear/dog hybrid and that little fire ferret Pabu.

I commented this once on another video from someone else and i will do it again. Air be like: "i just have this vibe that makes you want to breathe me in"

This video reminded me that if you haven't watched the Netflix series "Hilda", you seriously should. There are so many fun creature designs and a pretty good story. It's about a girl who loves nature but moved to a city with her mom for safety and she has a bunch of creature-related adventures! Also I was thinking the anklet on the air bird girl made sense because there are some birds who have little ankle tags like that with numbers so that their migrations and population can be better observed. Idk if they do that in your area, but there are lots traveling around!

All I could think of was the little trash maid on webtoon and the wood man from Hilda on Netflix. I think you'd like Hilda for its art and maybe enjoy the wholesome, coziness of the story too. Edit: the rock girl looked like she had cat ears! That would have been so cute!

Maybe the Tree himbo took patches from unsuspecting Boy Scouts during their camping trips. Then he adds them to his little vest to stylize it

I actually love the Earthgirl the most, followed by Fire and Wood. They represent the element you were trying to portray, perfectly. My least favorite designs are water and air, eventho those are my favorite elements. I can see how it was difficult to repredent them properly. Especially air, honestly I couldn't think of anything unique to represent air myself.😅 Water had a few more options to portray it better, maybe similar to fire girl or one of yourother sketches you did with the water bodyparts would have been real fun to see finished! Nonetheless, I love your artstyle so much and your quirky commentary is absolutely adorable and I am always happy to see you create art. 💗

I totally thought the fire elemental was roasting a marshmallow in their hair until you said it was a tin can lol.

I love your art. Apart from that: the fire character is like lava. That's okay, but the roundish 'bubbliness' makes it a 'watery' figurine: change the colouring to blueish (instead of orange/yellow) and it might just as well model as your water character
