What if Maul rescued Darth Vader on mustafar, (Palpatine was injured by yoda or something, stopping him from going there first.) Anakin would abandon the Sith, as they had abandoned him, but remain on the dark side seeking revenge against obi wan and palpatine. Maul would be the closest person he could relate to probably. Perhaps Maul would use Nightsister Magick to heal him.

Fun story! I like how it really dismantles the entire series because there's no longer a need for a chosen one. And I really like seeing completely different perspectives on characters like Maul, who is almost comically evil in canon.

I love how soo many people who have done this theory video have done it soo differently from each other but one thing they have in common is maul learning vapaad and getting a purple lightsaber

On a side note, the very idea of dragons with blasters and technology is so freaking cool and I would love to see more of those guys.

Read "The Truce at Bakura", a star wars legends novel. It takes place literally days after Return of the Jedi, and covers some interesting stuff.

That would be extremely unlikely considering he was killed directly by Sidious himself.

Even while Maul was a sith, he placed a lot of importance on brotherhood. This part of his character would definitely carry over with the Jedi.

So just put a gentle rewrite; he doesn't outright kill Savage, just landing one of Dooku's signature stabs to make him unable to stand. Then they imprison him.

This one is pretty interesting. Also, I like the idea that Maul would train Anakin because he went through a similar thing in his life and overcame the darkness within him. I can't imagine a better teacher.

I talked about this idea with Daleytactics a bit ago. What if Order 66 was reversed? Yoda and Obi-Wan, the last two Jedi, lead the Clone Army and the CIS against the Sith Empire and their massive droid army. Then, Order 66 is called to the droids to turn against the large numbers of Sith Lord's. Then the Jedi and Clones succeed by saving the Galaxy, and the CIS reforms into the Galactic Republic.

Wow! This is one of my favorites!!

As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use technoguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.

I love how the Jedi find out the Soth are alive and they are all like "Chosen one lets not train him its do dangerous he MIGHT fall to the dark side or something if we do!" Yeah not like theres another competing group of force users that could pull that off or anything

Day 17: What if Jaesa Willsaam (light side) was in the Clone Wars? The idea is that shortly after Jaesa is recruited by the Sith Warrior, Darth Baras realizes the potential threat. He manages to capture her and freeze her in carbonite. After Darth Baras dies, Jaesa is never found and is eventually forgotten for the next 3000 years. Then, during the Battle of Christophsis, a tunnel to an ancient under city is discovered. Obi-Wan leads a squad of clones into the under city in order to gain a tactical advantage over the separatists. While here, the force leads him to a long forgotten prison. He finds Jaesa here and frees her. Shortly thereafter Jaesa rejoins the Jedi and becomes Obi-Wan's apprentice.

7:27 One thing I will say that's an old lore thing that I like, that those who trained Juyo/Vapaad among the Jedi never *just* trained in Juyo because of how much it leaned on the dark; they would first train to mastery (or perhaps windu might make an exception in that regard) at least 3 other styles or forms. I think with two masters and Maul's aptitude that would still be doable, especially with Dooku and Windu (himself a master of all styles). I feel like Makashi from dooku would be a certainty (I doubt Dooku would ever consider Maul to have mastered it in his view but would find his profficiency acceptable), Niman almost certainly like in the original timeline...Shii Cho maybe as a third (Kit's style)? Or perhaps an unarmed martial art, which was a favored way to improve a student's discipline.

What if Jango Fett survived the Battle of Geonosis? What if Darth Maul was redeemed on Naboo? What if Lando never betrayed Han on Cloud City? What if Luke died on the second Death Star? What if Rex killed Ahsoka? What if Ahsoka killed Rex? What if Boba Fett joined the Rebellion? What if Kanan survived? What if Obi-Wan died on Utapau (either against Grievous or Order 66)? What if Han Solo never met Chewbacca? What if Darth Maul killed Kanan? What if Count Dooku killed Sidious instead of Yaddle?

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see yet another new origin for Maul getting shown some love. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

Maul is the only one who displayed the force, although maul could have told them that Savage had his blood, it was kind of weird that maul didn't acknowledge his brother.

@@Nate-fb1rr Maul's usually known to be very quiet. Even his debut had him as this "cold, ruthless, quiet killer" type. That, and I don't think his child mind processed what was really going on since it was all seemingly happening so fast. Even the most mature children are still children at the end of the day.

I truly enjoy these stories! Keep up the good work.

On thing Maul's face is completely red, the tattoos of black are from the Sith that brought him in the canon timeline, this maul is very powerful(with very calm and mighty, bright emotions) In the force both Zabrak brothers are mighty strong, savage is actually stronger in the force(plus the Nightsister magic made him far more stronger physically, matching the heavy hitters like The "Vader" suit(not Anakin inside it), Baylin skoll and General Grevious)Maul and savage are pretty similar to force abilities for max potential when both are mint condition, are very powerful can output really high amount of power.

I like this story I wish it was a little bit longer but it was really good

I had to watch and read more on Maul before I posted this but, Maul isn’t his given name. Maul is actually the name Sidious gave him when he became a Darth. Day 94 of my list What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?

Aw, yeah, Jedi Maul! I like Zabraks, between Maul and Bao-Dur, and that’s why my OC is a Zabrak. And a few other things, it’s a bit complicated…

3:15 Plot hole. They should have taken Savage as well. They should have been able to feel him. And Maul and Savage would have known they shared that gift. I haven't finished yet so I am guessing that there is going to be a plot twist with this but thought I'd share anyway.

It really makes sense. Maul's undoing is most often due to his blindness created from the dark side. I've always believed that had he be found by the Jedi first that he would be an insanely strong force user. Thanks for the video. Cheers from France! 🍻 PS: Kids are molded by their surroundings. Competition is natural within human beings, so if your entourage is made by good people you're driven to be the best of the good people. If your entourage is made of bad people, you're driven to be the best of the bad people. That's what you see with Maul in canon. He's incredibly strong. As far as we know, only Sidious and Kenobi can beat him in a fair fight. And those are the only two to beat Vader consistently. Tells you where Maul stands. Now add the focus ability he'd gain by being raised and staying in the light. That's a crazy powerful Jedi on hand. Then you have him be raised by both Dooku and Windu, whilst any of the two would've produced an amazing light-sided Maul. Both make him a uniquely stable and powerful force user. I'll force (no pun intended) myself to stop the tangent here.

What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.

What if Asajj Ventress never turned to the Darkside? Idk why, but this video brought the memory of an episode of when Ventress' master was killed and later on was taken in by Dooku to become his apprentice. So I was curious of if she was never founded by Dooku, where would her story go?

I feel mace would be the suitable master for maul and not dooku because they both have that innate darkness and they both used form 7 (maul using juyo , mace using his own version vapaad) I also think maul would benefit from learning vapaad and shatter point .
