Keep the slice of life stuff, it sets you apart and gives us a wider grasp of the universe you're building.

Honestly that’s pretty cool that the dragon can no longer just grant a wish without making a negative one.😺

I bet Ox King meeting his wife again after death played out similarly to How to Train your Dragon 2 when Hiccup's father & mother reunited

I loved this training arc. I kind of wish Goku and the gang met Krillin at the school of monks so he could join the Turtle School early as well. But I'm really looking forward to this tournament.

Screw the haters that hate the slice of life, it sets you apart and is what makes the action moments much more impactful and get us to love these changed charcters

Nah, the slice of life and side story content is FIRE. Love this series.

Each kid getting his/her (in Chi Chi's case) master is a genius idea, I'm very excited to see this series flourish further, it's one of my favorites to come out of this channel. I love how every choice the characters make feels in-character and logical, power increases are reasonable but still impactful, I do hope that Krillin still plays a role here but I feel like you're saving that for later. Hyped for the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai!

The slice of life aspects of the story are very enjoyable, and it's something I personally always look forward to seeing more of in this series as well as the way the story has changed and the cool ideas being brought up by these changes.

A solid episode! Tao being at 380 is insane considering his canon strength (Tao being moon level is quite unexpected) and how 380 means he could at least hold his own against the likes of Piccolo Jr. But, considering how strong everyone is this early in the timeline, it evens out.

I feel sorry For Demon king piccolo cause the second he breaks free it wont be pretty for him at ALL

To be honest that jacket and mask looks really well on bardock here

I love the two dragons being one pair of balls

I really like the .5 parts

I appreciate u explaining the plot of the story with the fighting n transformation coming tht we all want

I am enjoying all this kind of story. After all, Dragon Ball is a story of adventure, life choices, and lore. The Eternal Twin-Dragon was an awesome change I did not expect along with the Yin and Yang of the wish. My only gripe would be the color of the second half of Shenron being blue, but I am not caught up with the lore of Granola's race, so I don't know if that is the canon color. That's just my thought. Overall, as I stated before, i'm enjoying the story.

Its the color we've gotten for Torumbo in the offical colored release so we can assume it'll be pretty consistent to that light blue/tealish color I think, tho who knows in this story as we play with the effects of dragon fusion we may see their appearance change further

I know. One of the biggest problems with the cannon dragonballs is that you can wish for anything with no consequences, for the most part. That's why they get abused so much and since the idea for them in GT is also no longer cannon as well...

This was beautiful. Also Bardock is doing what it takes to make sure that his boys keep getting stronger and grow to be more powerful by teaching them some humility. And I bet that the boys mother's are going to flip out when they find out the truth Now can I make a suggestion? It is for the Good Guys growth. First off here is an idea. Maybe Chichi decides to learn under Baba and gains mystical powers along with her martial arts skills(See what if Chichi was a Z Fighter? by MasakoX). For Granola let him gain his cannon arsenal of techniques but he also learns everything the Crane School can teach him. Now as for Goku and Raditz seeing as both have their tails and the boys are raised in nature can I make a suggestion? Have Goku and Raditz keep their tails and eventually gain Super Saiyan 4 during the Majin Buu Saga under the guidance of Old Kai to face Majin Buu. For the Super Saiyan forms make sure that Goku gets Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Second Grade, Super Saiyan Third Grade, Super Saiyan Full Power, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan 4 and Super Full Power Saiyan 4. And so does Raditz. But here is where thing differ when you go into Dragon Ball Super. Goku still gets God Ki and he also gets Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue, and also Ultra Instinct and all it's variants. But for Raditz what he gets is something a bit more unique. With Raditz being more Saiyan than his younger brother maybe Raditz expands the Super Saiyan 4 form to gain all the abilities of Super Saiyan 4, such as Super Saiyan 4 and Super Full Power Saiyan 4 and Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker. He gets Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue but that is it for him.

The jacket and mask look great on Bardock, but I feel he should change his hair a bit just so granola and raditz doesn’t recognize him from his hair. Overall can’t wait to see the next part this is becoming one of my favorite what-ifs!!

Absolutely loving this and the slice of life parts! I'm enjoying this and I know many others are too so definitely don't let anyone complaining discourage you at all! I'm looking forward to the consequences all these events have, and I hope that Launch and Krillin still join the gang, and are able to catch up if they both become fighters(still become a fighter in Krillin's case). Also maybe you could find a way to have Oolong and Paur become fighters as well, as I imagine they could make good use of their shapeshifting that way, though I could see that being it's own what if too. I also like how you're setting up OG Dragon Ball Villains to be a lot stronger instead of the usual way of having them be overpowered, specifically with the Crane School and The Red Ribbon, of course not sure if the Crane School will be featuring as Villains in this series, and either way I hope you can do the same for King Piccolo. Maybe he can either wish for power, or somehow find out about Namekian Fusion and fuse with his children to match the power of the Saiyans. Definitely like how things are turning out with all of the respective schools as well, lol. I hope Chichi gets quite powerful as well, especially if you incorporate Ox King's potential PL of 900 and the possible potential from that. Also hope either Radditz or Granola get with Bulma, and maybe the other will get with Tights or Launch, or some other character you have in mind Either way, looking forward to the next part!

the slice of life has beennothing but sweet and funny maybe roshi should have bardock wear a wig and some orange perfume too? the new dragon balls feel temporary as piccolo might not like being tampered with but this has been alot of fun hopefully when krillen comes in the gags can really get started

So Raditz elaborated on that during 7.5, basically Granolah's attacks are explained to work on a scale with shots that are aimed for and reach a vital weakpoint being about 2x as strong as his usual attacks

ngl, part of me feels like if there was something more than friendship between Bardock and Muzeli, given how much time the three spend together, Gine probably wouldn't mind, and might even welcome it. Just sayin', Muzeli doesn't seem to share a bond with many other people around her age.

I had the feeling that he is strying to ship Granola's mom with Bardock but somebody also mentioned Gine as well potentially, just kept getting this wierd feeling that he's hinting at all the time she shows up.

Ignore those grumbles. They are clearly not writers, thus have no understanding of how to write a proper and compelling story. The slice of life stuff is what I most enjoy about this series because it helps show why/how the characters change over time.

Goku was 11 during the 21st Tournament so he would either be 8 years old or 6 years old in your story right now then. Try to keep that in mind then when pacing out the plot and power levels for the kids. This is really good story telling.

If I were in Raditz’s shoes after finding out they couldn’t kill Frieza then I would have wished for his power to be restricted. Aka locking one of his forms away. Granted he most likely wouldn’t know of his transformations but I thinkrestricting his power would cause at least his 4th form to be locked away and would be a good substitute as so when they would have to deal with him they would have an easier time. But I’m not the writer of this. Anyway, I can’t speak for everyone but I like the slice of life parts as well as the action. It makes the characters feel more real. So the back and fourth aspect between the story and slice of life parts works. But wether or not you change the structure, I like the way this what if is going and look forward to more when you get the chance too. And man wouldn’t it oronjc if that one Frieza solider ended up being one of the higher ones like say Qui. I can imagine him thinking he got one over on a young Vegeta only for that to just happen out of nowhere

You made Granolah weaker his power level went from 2077 to 1338

Tl;DR You didn't pay attention to part 7.5 I think Nope, explained in 7.5 directly after he shows up in Part 7, the 2,077 was NOT base full power, it was Granolah's best shot at Bardock's most vital/weakest spot. Basically the most he could get out of his gimmick and full power at that time was a "critical hit", so 2x as much damage as what was actually put out. Granolah's pl is shown directly after to be around 1,038 as his full power base line. He grew to 1,338 which means his new max during the tourney would be 2,676 which is actually well over what even Raditz was able to get his base power over despite the fact his own is still lower.

What does R1 mean in episode 8? And another question. Since raditz is not on vegeta's team so will his brother or broly going to replace him or someone else that's not a sayian?
