I may have lied but It was part of the script okay. they have my family. We're in some place in canada it's like a massive nuke site. they come and give us weird papers with words on it and tell us to read it or we get forced to touch an Irukandji jellyfish while standing on two stone fish. because i've played this game with my friend, and progress basically to the endgame. its good idea to buy basic license like lumberjack, mining and hunt. planting trees is the main job basically in this game. because you will need a lot of palm wood. and stuff... basically grinding, planting, craft and stuff

That big-ass bird is what's known as a cassowary. Omnivores who, if provoked, will attack humans. When I was younger, we had a family of these that lived near the end of my driveway, but never had dramas. Smaller birds could be young cassowaries, but with their red heads, look more like Australian brush turkeys (we call them bush turkeys). If you come up against a kookaburra, please know that we occasionally refer to them as "giggle chickens" (because of their iconic laugh).

@@theirresponsibleghost7748 We all play games differently, and that's okay. I still feel like exploring is more than half the experience in these kinds of games, so I stopped looking things up unless I'm far into it and/or at a complete loss/frustrated.

As an Australian.. I found "Shaggy racoon" to be way more amusing than it should have been lmao

I love this game and you. If you want easy money, get the metal detector. It finds treasure (like keyboards and mouses) which is by far the best way to make money in the early game. Keep the keys and discs tho, you’ll need those later ;)

@3.53 Just picked up a fuel web spider. If you saw one of those is Australia you would either go as far away as possible or kill it.

The part with the Cassowary was a little less factual than I expected, considering well, they don't headbutt and instead will literally bisect your with their claws. Like seriously! These birds have massive scalpels for toes and can kick through concrete! They literally hold the title of "Most Dangerous Bird In The World!" They can literally take a full magazine of hot lead and shrug it off like it was nothing! Cassowaries are one of the reasons I'll never go to Australia!

Definitely accurate on all things Aussie haha. Except those licences, totally unrealistic! You have to pay obscene money, do a ungodly amount of paperwork and then wait a good 3-6 months at least if you get it at all!! But other than that's it's good hahaha

Day two of my second playthrough and i had 100,000 €. Some stuff is much more worth selling than others. I think the red and the yellow bush flowers sold suprisingly good, and the prawn-things and crabs and dive-grab stuff. But i did have a 'entire islands worth' of those things to make that total amount. The endofday list went whole screen and then continued past the cutoff of the yellow box lol. And since there is no skip, i had to wait like entire minute or two for it to finish the unesisary slow bar counting thing uuugghh. Tip: Forget about eating 20 fruit a day, just bring a sleeping bag with you and sleep whenever your tired. (Do daily npc requests specifically and seperate from typical activities.) The game is great and its taking up my life atm, but it reeeaaally need a few tweaks. Then it would be same but less fustration and more yay.

DF back at it again with another Banger title

A fun way to get some more points in this game is to just stand in the fire until you're almost dead before you go to sleep. So efficient it's great!
