I just found this in my reccommends, and I love it. I've seen quite a few "what ifs" with the same premise but this one's totally unique. I love the pro-racer-sith angle. Like if "Days of Thunder" was a Star Wars movie.

The butterfly effect in Starwars its the Blast the Royal ship from Naboo got during her scape. So yeah, we could say the droid who blasted the ship was responsable for almost all the events of the saga.

No doubt, that blast had some serious ripple effects throughout the galaxy! It's wild to think that one droid's action set the entire saga in motion. Small actions, big consequences, right?

We see Quinlin Vos on Tatooine in Canon so I guess he would have gone back for Anakin once his current mission was complete. Yes he was too old, but like Qui-gon he was a maverick and would likely have offered to train Anakin himself, or at least mentor him if he already has Aayal as his apprentice. However, we are told he found and rescued her, so he might not have found Aayal yet.

I’d love to see a part two to this.

That's a fascinating twist in the Star Wars saga! Anakin encountering Darth Nihilus's mask and being possessed by its dark power would be a compelling and intense storyline. The Force would take a dark turn, for sure.

@@BanthaStew Klingons are better scrap-metal shadetree mechanics than most give them credit for. The B'rel class probably shouldn't technically be spaceworthy, but there it is: a legendary warship. If anyone could make a starfighter out of a 50-year-old American Sportscar, he or she WOULD be a Klingon. That or an Ork from WH40K. Especially if you supply them with the finest of Star Wars spare parts, straight from a sketchy Corellian hot-rodder.

Yearn's for the dunes of Tatoooine?!?! How? Anakin hates sand! It's course and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

....so cruel! Had me wrapped up in this story and it ends! Mrrrh. **Finds a nerf bat and looks to bonk some heads**

I'm surprised I didn't expect the terrorist to be paid off by Sidious, it makes so much sense. But I guess that action simply makes enough sense on its own with crazy political motivations anyway, so that's why I didn't suspect it. Definitely interested to see the part 2 once it arrives.

It's a good story (from what I've seen so far), but there's WAY too much of that repulsive...thing that is the podrace announcer(s). I hate that thing so much, even Jar-Jar looks good next to...it. The only thing I'd want to see in a story containing it, is one where both of its' heads were decapitated with a lightsaber.

The premise is wrong from this onset. Wato owns Anakin, even if he bets against him with Sabulba he still gets all of Anakin’s prize money from the wins. Unless he was absolutely ridiculous in the amount of money, he bet against Anakin …. Watto would not be in debt. If Guardado is truly as greedy, as you would make him out to be, he would happily have sold Anakin’s mother for a bunch of money … and Darth Pleageus has money coming out his ears. My final criticism is Anakin‘s personality as he grows older …. The sweet boy from tattooine becomes a petulant, emotional teenager because the Jedi don’t know how the hell to deal with human emotion. I doubt that free of the Jedi Anakin would become so whiny.

Interesting subject matter, But this could never happen, due to his obsession of freedom and his dream of being a Jedi or i'm just saying it as fate theory ... but good storytelling and assumption too.
