@@marcelofg4214 long story short Escape was written by Metallica in a single day because they showed their producer Ride The Lightning (the whole album) and the producer said to make another song that was more “radio friendly” (basically the radio would like it more and it would be more mainstream). Ironically, nobody really likes Escape. (I do though)

No one can convince me the St. Anger guitar tones aren't tasty as fuck.

I LOVED St Angers guitar tones! I wish they’d do it for everything. It’s like Slipknot but it’s Metallica!

Now we need 'The God That Failed' on St. Anger. The tragic past of that song would fit perfectly into the "warts and all" theme of the album.

It's solo is too amazing to be left out that's why I'm not in support of this.

The “luck runs out” part was absolutely genius, I loved this.

You always manage to make St. Anger oddly...well-mixed? Like, I can actually listen to it and ENJOY it, which is amazing. Thank you for making these reworks!

I Disappear has the same snare sound but it’s mixed well enough to a point where it doesn’t really stand out as bad as it does on st. anger. St. Anger’s mixing and mastering is its main fault and it’s something that (when looked at objectively) can be fixed literally in 30 minutes - an hour of work. Really wish they would revisit it for a 20 year anniversary and amend some of those problems. Highly unlikely though :/ we’d probably have to wait til 2033 for them to do a 30 year rerelease for them to ever do that.

I was half expecting to hear what Shadows Of The Cross would have been. But this is good too. Great job.

I love this, it's like, Unnamed Feeling, Dirty Window and St Anger combined with the riffs of ANL. Would like to hear Dream No More on St Anger as well as Shoot Me Again on Hardwired, God That Failed on Death Magnetic and Here Comes Revenge on AJFA

Honestly I'd love to redo some of these older st anger ones now that I have some better sources for vocals and drums, so I feel ya. Kinda buried vocals a bit cause they were ass, but appreciate the comment yo!

But for real this is so unbelievably accurate, it could be a track instead of "Some Kind of Monster" and it would be impossible to tell difference between albums. It has some well hidden parts from almost every St Anger song - barely recognisable but so obvious parts of "Shoot Me Again", "Sweet Amber", "Frantic" and I can go on. It's just charming how you can morph late-thrash Metallica song into a track full of raw hate, grief and primal energy. Man, your content is just something I wanted my whole life, but never acknowledged it, until I heard it. Peace.
