The problem with the Zero squad is that everyone forgets that Ywach was there using his almighy powers and buffed and ressurected some of the elite squad that was already dispatched. I know Zero squad was really a huge disappointment but they where just there to show how truly terrifying Ywach is.

@@greatthinkers3537 Yes it was stated: "Their total power surpasses the power of all the 13 Divisions together" But Ichibei and Nimaya can do that on their own. It was a misconception that people thought Zero Squad are stronger simply because of that statement. In that context, it was about their total spirit energy surpassed them because Soul King empowered them, not that they're stronger. They were promoted to Squad Zero because of their contribution to the Soul Society, not because they're powerful. Take Hikifune for example, she's a former 12th squad captain before Urahara and the reason she was promoted into Zero Squad because she invented the artificial soul. Yamamoto was deemed the strongest shinigami for the past 1,000 years up till his death. Wouldn't Yamamoto be in Zero Squad instead of leading the Gotei 13? Hikifune served under him and yet she's the one that got promoted to Zero Squad.

I like to think the hogyoku is an artificial recreation of the soul king’s power, which is why it’s able to break reality like it does. Combining that with Aizen creating and absorbing the oken, it’s likely he’d be even stronger than this hypothetical next form.

Would you redo this video after what we have learned so far from the squad zero vs the royal guard and how they sealed off their true powers as well?

Aizen roflstomps them all. Assuming he's at his transcended level then none of the Zero Division (other than Ichibei) are strong enough to fight him without being melted by his Reiatsu, and even if Ichibei uses his Zanpakuto to weaken Aizen by removing his name then the Hogyoku would just evolve Aizen into a being that transcends needing a name.

Ichibei’s ink probably won’t even work on Aizen just like how Sui fon’s “death in two stings” didn’t do anything either. Aizen’s reiatsu is just that strong.

How fast does that Hogyoku evolve him into a being that would put him above his enemy anyway?.. i haven't seen calc for that but it's always the win condition for aizen but it's all assumption that the hogyoku would even be fast enough to transform him.. people can argue that ichibei would erased him out of existence even before the hogyuko evolves aizen into a being that could negged the technique.

Ichibe had enough spiritual pressure to effect Yhwach a transcendent being stronger than Aizen I'm not sure who wins the fight b/c the hogyoku is an asspull machine but Ichibe can easily hold his own

He would crush them. Ichibe is the only threat, the four others would be dispatched with negligible difficulty. Ichibe on the other hand would be as hard of a battle as the one he had with Ywhach, but the result would be the same. In fact, there's a grat chance that just like with Yamamoto he would have a contingency to nulify Ichimonji completly. Also, the condition in which he would enter the Palace would change a lot about how the fight goes. What I described above happens in a timeline in which he never fought Dangai Ichigo and killed him before he could train with his father. If we use instead an Aizen that fought against Dangai Ichigo and defeats him, It's likely that he would simply look at them and they would cease to exist, since the Hogyoku would evolve him into a being who transcends Mugetsu.

The thing about Aizen vs Yamamoto is that Yamamoto's Bankai is both destructive enough to damage Aizen up until his super regeneration kicks in, and completely indiscriminate. Aizen's normal trump card does precisely nothing in that fight thanks to it's unmatched zone control, Aizen's only option would be to run.

Underrated comment. Complete hypnosis does nothing when the entire area becomes as hot as the sun, and Yamamoto's skin is surrounded by so much heat that anything that touches him turns to ash instantly. Plus, does hypnosis even work on the walking dead? If not, that could give Yama enough of an tip-off of Aizen's real location to accurately strike out.

yamamoto with a clear mind can beat anyone in the whole bleach story.. im pretty sure he could have killed the soul king himself after wiping out the zero division alone.. but yamamoto with ichigo, unohana and zaraki kenpachi can take over the whole universe.. those 4 at full power vs all the quincy & zero division and they win.. the story was wrote so they absolutely never fight together

Aizen with the Hogyoku is basically a buffed version of Gerard. Even if Ichibei manages to do what he did to Yhwach, and name him an ant, the Hogyoku could still come in clutch for him and revive him even stronger than he was before.

Plus with how its fused to Aizen, it could probably hide itself deep inside Aizen's body anyway. Or Aizen could just Kyoka Suigetsu Ichibei preventing him from doing this in the first place.

I’m of the opinion that Ichibeis ink is limited by his level of Reiorku(spelled that wrong) As in I don’t think it would have worked against Ywach with the almighty given Ywach at this point was too strong and could neg it outright. I think transcendent Aizen at this point would also have to much spiritual pressure for the ink to effect him. Ichibei seemed to be comparable to Bankai Yama which was sweating at the idea of Aizen being free to help Ywach, not to mention Aizen was designated as a war power for his reiatsu as a special war power and was this designation made based on his pre Hogyoku self? Like I don’t think Ywach knew about transcendent chair Aizens new abilities, when Ywach mentioned that his senses were messed with being next to Aizen he was shocked but obviously knew about Kyoka Suigetsu. It leads me to wonder if he was shocked that Aizen didn’t need his sword release.

Bruh I didn't think about that...

Ryujin Jakka was a known entity that Aizen knew ahead of time he had to address to have any chance at his plan working. Never is there any evidence presented of anyone in SS (besides Yamamoto) knowing the powers of Ichimonji. Any hypothetical involving Ichimonji vs. the Hogyoku is quite simply a matter of speculation and we just don't know. Many of these comments rush to assume Aizen claps while forgetting or ignoring the fact that the RG come in fully aware about Kyokasuigetsu not just because of battle data but also because of Oetsu knowing the whereabouts and abilities of every Zanpakuto in existence. On top of this, from what we know of the relative battle strengths of Yama and Oetsu from lore as discussed in CFYOW, it isn't possible to simply dismiss Oetsu on the basis of a (terribly written) "poor" showing in which he oneshot Lille and Gerard (read that again) before bullshit resurrection plot armor. Certainly he gets overpowered sooner or later, but Sayafushi (or more likely whatever Oetsu's true Zanpakuto is) is a factor in the same vein as Ryujin Jakka. Sure, killing Aizen is effectively impossible, but it cannot be glossed over that Oetsu and Ichibei sealed away Ikomikidomoe when it looked like it was going to overrun SS. For the Royal Guard to "beat" Aizen they don't need to kill him. Just seal him. And Aizen as BS as he is doesn't have Almighty.

Yeah moreso when a fraction of Naruto's power is more than the combined power of the whole ninja alliance, when he gave a chakra cloak to the whole alliance Kakashi states that's more chakra than his full reserve and he's among the strongest in said army. Kubo overpowers his villains way too much. Aizen and Ywach were both way too overpowered, and the pay off for their defeat didn't feel great. Dangai Ichigo and final getsuga came out of nowhere, so did the silver arrow. Even Lillie and Gerard were too overpowered he needed deus ex machina to get rid of them.

I believe Aizen still pales in comparison to Yamamoto. Yamamoto’s spiritual pressure was so strong that during the TYBW arc it was pointed out he wasn’t even producing flames. The density of his spiritual pressure was so strong it appeared as a hellfire. The unleashing of his Bankai threatened to destroy the Soul Society by just existing. Aizen, or any character for that matter, has yet to show that level of spiritual pressure. Even Ywatch could only kill him by making Yamamoto exhaust himself against a fake, and then stealing his Bankai, all while already being in a weakened state due to missing an arm.

That's easy-mode for Aizen. Only Ywhach, Ichigo, Yamamoto, and Kenpachi can possibly defeat Aizen. I don't include the Hogyoku as Aizen's power because they could always make more of those.

You said they would have no battle analysis which is false. Oetsu forged every Zanpakuto and Ichibei knows the name of every Zanpakuto. What we saw with Renji shows that they would definitely have an understanding of Aizen’s Zanpakuto.

The headcanon in me says the zero squad wasn't depicted as great due to rushing or behind the scenes issues so this isn't fair😂 but it is Aizen we are dealing with.. I do hope Kubo can rework the zero division in the anime to look better..

As long as Aizen has the Hogyoku everything boils down to: "If you want Aizen to be stronger in this fight, it will just happen". He has an infinite supply of canonically supported "asspulls". He basically got an nigh-infinitely powerful djinn with infinite wishes.

I think it's unfair to say that Squad Zero would lose so easily considering that most of them didn't even use their Shikai when Yhwach invaded, much less their Bankai (other than Ichibe). So their full potential isn't being taken into account.

@Clyde great video. Just wanted to point something out at 8:01 , the reason Yhwach couldn’t break out of Kyoka Suigetsu was NOT because of aizens innate power. It is because(stated in manga) The Almighty cannot affect parts of the Soul King, and Aizen fed the Hogyoku(and ultimately himself) some of the Soul Kings nails. This made his ability immune to Yhwach’s Schrift. Otherwise, great vid!!!

Don't forget Captains can release shikai without saying anything, Aizen could just release Kyoka Suigetsu the moment the Zero Division eyes meet him. And if the Zero Division close their eyes, how can they react to his speed and power? Though it's a mystery why Aizen never used Kyoka Suigetsu against Ichigo, maybe there's more limitation that we didn't know of or something.

I'd like to think it's because of instinct The biggest thing holding Ichigo back is himself, his own worries, fears, unwillingness to fight. Zangetsu literally believes that to be the main thing Ichigo needs to work on. Take vasto lorde Ichigo for example he was mindless in that form and ran purely on instinct not reason. I assume this would be how Ichigo fights against KS not using his sense and just instinct. It's probably push Ichigo into a massively stronger state.

Pretty sure Aizens shikai was released the entire time. And in order for that to work ichigo would have to witness him releasing it again, which would mean sealing his zanpakuto and freeing everyone in the gotei 13 of his illusion

Something I'd debate: If Aizen is unaware of Ichimoji's power and uses Black Coffin [Which is basically his go-to], it's not unreasonable to say that Ichimonji could easily turn that power back upon Aizen since, after all;, Black Coffin is Black; and Ichimonji controls all Black. While that wouldn't kill Aizen, having *his own power* reflected back upon him would almost certainly significantly damage and temporarily weaken him as he recovers, which could easily lead to Ichibei inking Aizen and then it's probably over from there. [Plus the hypothetical Ichebei's Bankai v the Hogyoku situation] Or Ichibei uses his sealing technique he was going to use on Yuha. [The temple thing] I don't think Aizen 100% wins 0 difficulty; although him losing is somewhat dependent on how he chooses to fight. After all; this hypothetical Ichimonji v Black Coffin situation would only happen if Aizen uses Black Coffin. [Although Aizen has no way to know Ichimoji's abilities beforehand presumably.]

This Squad and the Kido-Corpse are the greatest Dissapointment and obviously prove that the manga when animated needs massive fixing, not slight fixing. I cant believe some people think only the last 1-2 chapters need fixing... i mean... what??

Dude, the zero division was the biggest letdown in anything. Heck, the creator of the zanpakuto having nothing special in his arsenal was ridiculous.

Dude Nimaiya bodied all 4 of the royal guard but then got plot armor Auswalened my guy what are you saying. Nimaiya plus Ichibei sealed the 2nd strongest hollow ever into a zanpaktou. Nimaiya is heavily slept on.

Great analysis! The Zero Division would definitely put up a fight but I think the key is if Ichibe can affect the Hōgyoku or not. If not then Aizen wins. One thing I’ll say is that Bleach Brave Soul’s 6th anniversary showed what the potential form of Aizen could be after Mugetsu. It’s definitely based off of him fusing with his sword + the Hōgyoku evolving his Butterfly form

one point on kyoka suigetsu, in final arc isnt it said that "who would have thought not showing you my released Kyoka would benefit this way?" That gives me the impression that in some way it either loses its zanpakuto powers or aizen would still have to release it, as ichigo did fight him in his "merged" plus state. That was my understanding anyway

5:30- Though it could be an infamous case of Kubo's "I have an ability, but it's so situational and I don't like it for egotistical/superficial/aesthetic/power is impractical reasons that I didn't use my full power when it could've been useful anytime in hindsight" with the other four members.

I agree with you that by feats and showings Aizen wins against the Zero Division, but what do you think about Azashiro's remark about Aizen having only 40% chance of beating that division?

For aizen vs ichibe what I imagine is when sui fon used her shikai and stabbed aizen twice but it just didn’t work and faded away cause aizen reiatsu was so powerful. So maybe he could cancel out ichibe this way too

Aizen fused with ks, his power massively sealed 70% put juha under ks in a chair. While in that very same chair Aizen reishi flexed the entire zero division palace. They stand no chance. Even ichibei.

Maybe this video would go differently now after kubo fixed what he did to squad 0 in manga did them dirty. Now its all fixed so this would be really different.

So, something I've always been a bit confused about with Aizen's power and I'm hoping someone could please clarify. Kanzen Saimin is said to be able to control the 5 primary external senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste. He uses this to completely fool several characters in combat to the point that they seemingly have no idea what is real and what isn't. But why doesn't anyone ever seem to try to sense Aizen? In theory he would need to be exerting at least a small amount of reiatsu to maintain the effects of Kanzen Saimin right? So characters should be able to use that to percieve Aizen in a way Kyoka Suigetsu can't control. Or is the Reiatsu sensing ability routed in the 5 main senses and thusly would be subject to Kyoka? The Bleach wiki does say that it should be possible to sense past the illusions but I don't remember seeing any character even attempt this. There are situations where this can make sense, like Hitsugaya being blinded by rage, but it just seems strange that not a single Shinigami, Visored, or Espada could, for example, see Aizen standing in front of them but feel his reiatsu moving behind them. (I'm aware his power eventually becomes too complex for them to sense but I'm mostly referencing before his transcendence.)

I think this was brought up when aizen fought yamamoto. Yamamoto was only to able sense aizen's reiatsu when aizen stabbed him and not before that. Yamamoto then grabbed aizens arm and was still able to sense him.This implies that kyoka suigetsu does cancel out your sensory abilities until you contact aizen or his sword.

It seems others have forgotten that skilled people are capable of concealing their reiatsu as well. Aizen is a top-tier Captain; who's to say he isn't concealing his reiatsu while using Shikai? With a skill like that, his enemies will have no choice but to rely on their five senses (which they obviously cant trust).

Aizen being aware of yamamoto is something to be signified even yhwach was afraid of yamamoto pre absorbed soul king. The only way yhwach beated yamamoto was bcz yhwach stole his bankai. Additionally the ALMIGHTY alone cannot beat yamamoto what the almighty does is peak into the future and swap different outcomes. Basically he can swap the future where he lost to the future where he wins. But you can't really do that if you're not strong enough to beat someone in the present. Yhwach didn't beat yamamoto on their first encounter back when yamamoto was in his prime because back then even with the almighty there's basically no way he can beat yamamoto with his abilities at that time. So if yhwach don't have the abilities that can surpass yamamoto then the futures of winning will basically be zero. Kinda like how hogyoku works in some sense it can turn your desires into reality but only if you're powerful enough to achieve them in the eyes of the hogyoku. It's kinda like a cheat code if you wanna build a house learn how to build one then the hogyoku will magically manifest a house based on the skills you have.

Nah I think past yhwach almighty was just to see the future like jugrams almighty so he got rekt by yamamoto and the only reason he got the altering part was because he absorbed the soul king.

Can you please do Aizen Vs The Schutestaffel next? Mainly the elite ones.

Tbh I think that the zero division were more like museum pieces (Kirio creating soul candy and so on) so I hope that if the zero division will be revitalized with actually powerful people (as in people not yet existent in the story).

2:36 you got this wrong they are above captain level as it was stated the zero division is equal to the gotei in terms of strength

Yes, it's stated that the five members of the Zero Division alone are equal to the entire Gotei 13. However 4 of them lost to several Sternritters that the Gotei beat. Ichibei must be the overwhelming majority of the Zero Division's strength just like Yamamoto was the majority of the Gotei 13's strength.

How is Byakuya (who received a buff from Kirinji + RG training) putting up a better show w/ help against a stronger form of Gerard than the people responsible for his buff? Yes I get that fight was 3v1 but it just makes no sense.

@@FatherManus ehhh i don’t know, i don’t see ichibe being the sole reason they are equal. Oetsu seems to easily be way above captain level with his one shot sword. We really didn’t get to see enough to say but i think it’s likely they are all above captain level

Saying the spiritual pressure would nullify Ichibe’s ink is kinda out there considering it worked on Ywach

He has surpassed using bankai. That's why he created the hogyoku in the first place. So no, his bankai is irrelevant.

rip to the original video. In any case, as per usual Clyde is spot on here, though I would argue one petty point. No way is anyone in the zero division just gonna melt out of existence as a result of just Aizen's spiritual pressure. in his pre butterfly form the only people we saw vanish were literally just normal humans. thats how large the gap has to be. Aizen wipes the floor in this battle, but the dif between transcendent Aizen and the zero division is not the same as the dif between pre butterfly Aizen and some rando human. its massive, but its not that large.

Love the video! However I would put to you that Aizen wasn't 'so powerful' to have survived the Mugetsu, rather that since he had actually fused with the Hogyoku, and that the regeneration was just the passive survivability of that entity that cannot be destroyed. Furthermore it's kind of stated by Urahara that this final form isn't a power step up, rather it's the Hogyoku's sentient realisation that Aizen isn't worth it anymore and allows his powers to fall to the point where previously established Kidou can now work.

why that scenario wont work. ichibe names all the zanpoktu powers and knows all of the powers of your blade. they would never let themselves fall under the effects of ks. ichibe most likely would know exactly how to counter fighting ks. werent they also watching what was happening and didnt come down to help because they didnt see aizen as a threat? yhwachs abilities weren't even a threat to ichibe except almighty. before that it was a one sided fight in ichibes favor. i honestly doubt a pre tybw aizen could legitimately stop ichibei.

I Hope Someday we also get the Espada vs Akatsuki video that was taken down and i never got to watch. Fingers crossed!

I'mpretty sure I said this in the original release too, but people need to remember the fact the Fullbringer Ichigo (after healing in the hot-springs) _accidentally_ broke Kirinji's hand. And that version of Ichigo is on the same level as one-armed Yama _at best_. So yeah, unless Ichibei pulls out some super-hax, they get fodderized. And same thing if current day Ichigo rolls up there. They would just be vaporized by the raw power.
