Sure. Lars drumming is just as great. Kirk solos are so creative and technically impeccable. We still have beautifully crafted songs, with acoustic intros with multilayered guitars, bass solos, ballads and instrumentals. 72 Seasons does sound like AJFA when it comes to respect to the bass player.

Proof that their music is still top notch - Yes! But sound is much better and heavier now! Nothing is missing, there is just 35 years difference, each individual perception has changed over so many years. @@krasimiryachev915 agreed. I've loved most of the last 3 albums with my only complaint being no instrumentals on the last 2, but everything is subjective and they are absolutely crushing it musically. As far as tones and mixing they are always going to be criticized no matter what they do. Victims of their own success. It's been that way with every single album since Master of Puppets.

Man you should hire out writing the solos and re produce the whole thing with arrangements and drum fills similar to AJFA and even MOP. There’s so many newer songs that are so close to being masterpieces if they just had better production, solos, and arrangements. Not huge changes other than solos. A lot of it is just hacking and slashing unnecessary parts of the songs like Lars retarded repeating snare for 10 seconds straight and the shittier fills. I actually wrote out all the parts on Death Magnetic that should be cut out, would’ve made the songs a lot more “listenable” imo. Sorry long response comment lol
