I am soooo happy you mentioned needing money upfront. So many people talk about getting started for $0 and it's just not true.

100% agree with the upfront costs! I found myself in a bind when, unexpectedly, I got a custom t-shirt order for a large group (they wanted 75 shirts) and I didn’t have enough to front the production cost. Had to wait a couple days til payday. Kind of embarrassing, but a good lesson learned.

Great to hear that you mentioned the upfront cost. Many KZreadrs don't mention this thing at all. So far, you're the only one I've heard about it.

Upfront costs are not always reimbursed by Etsy - depends on whether your fees for any ads have been taken from the sales made.

From the Jewelry I sold on Etsy years ago ( I made better sales at craft fairs so closed the shop). I knew about having a reserve fund, but it's good to hear you mention it, cause many don't

Love this very practical advice 😊 first of all, making money is a hard work, not magical thing happening over night. Let’s all keep that in mind! And let’s just kepe going and be consistent! That’s something I tell myself

Great video, Hannah! Your cross-niching idea is awesome and I am definitely going to utilize that! That's also good to know about not worrying about people copying your designs. I have had that in a product I sell on a shop that is not POD, and that is custom mailbox decals. Someone has exactly copied a couple of my good sellers and I was so upset, but I can see what you're saying. I didn't see theirs until like the 6th or 7th page and mine are on the 1st page. So, that makes sense to not waste time and effort on that. Thanks so much for another great video! I always learn so much!

Hey Hannah! I'm experiencing my first proper Christmas season with regular sales between 7-20 per day and OMG the customer service aspect is intense: out-of-stock items, missing tracking numbers, late items, lost items, orders by mistake, Printify Live Chat marathons (+ a few personalized orders)🤯I spend all day reacting and talking to customers or Printify Live Agents and trouble-shooting. How do high-volume sellers even handle 40-100 daily sales without burnout? How do you take a day/weekend off or manage your shop when you get sick. Is it possible to make this sustainable and scale-able without becoming exhausting? Grateful for any advice❤

Just a random thought- if you lower your camera angle we can see your hands and it helps engagement on videos and increased audience trust when they can see your hands

Thank you Hanna for the Cross Niche guide, it very helpful. I see you even have Australia Day. I'm Australian, nice to see that, but Australia Day is really controversial these days with big protests against this celebration by the indigenous community and supports, they call this invasion day and a great sadness. I will try some of your suggestions, thank you.

Hey Hannah! You are such a gem! I am so excited to have stumbled on your page. You share alot of great and helpful information. Ive been POD for years by word of mouth, mostly for my friends and their friends for free and profit. I recently obtained my LLC and started my small business designing printable party favors a Christian stationary, etc. I average one to two projects a month, which is good for now, since i work a 9-5. I def want to create a passive ave for profit by adding a novelty items, but not sure how. Any direction? Your videos are golden I've watched 3 and already feel inspired and empowered. Thank you from a new subscriber. ❤

Love your videos !! Thank you for sharing and not use that overuse tone of voice lol .. what about adding a watermark to your pics ? I know it’s not aesthetic but it does suck that you spend so much time creating something and someone else benefits from it.
