Hello Robyn I agree with you Wildflower Cotton smells like just Sandalwood tangerine. I will not be buying anymore of it while I like it, I don't want Scentsy to think that they can start reusing a scent and just rename it! Like Bath and body works does. That makes me upset and I am sure I am not alone. If I wanted sandalwood tangerine I would have just bought it... It's in the catalog I hope that makes sense 😂

Agreed! It’s especially odd to have an LTO scent SO close to a scent currently available in the catalog!

Eek, I'm not a fan of Vanilla Waves, it gets a sort of sour note to me. But I don't smell that on cold in Blue Coconut Beach. I definitely want to get the Beach Daisy brick, and I'm still deciding on my 2nd brick choice.

I am not a fan of Cucumber and Cactus Water, that one brick is the whole reason I didn't get the full set of 5 😂

Thanks for the review! I’m general, I seem to not like what you don’t like and so now I’m more convinced to get Beach Daisy and potentially orchard by the sea. Kind of risky of bricks overall in case people don’t like it since it’s so much wax!

If you’re nervous about committing to that much wax, you could throw them into a Club, have it ship immediately, and get them in bar form first! You can always cancel the club right after it ships.

I may try to do a redo of wildflower cotton...without lemon and more wildflower and cotton.

I agree with your rankings lol I love green scents like flowershop but Cucumber and cactus water 🤮🤮 tried it and removed it from my warmer. lol when it came out the first time.

😂😂I was the 'someone' who commented lol !! I'm so glad to hear your sniffer picked up Vanilla Waves too after all, means I'm not going crazy 😅 For me it was there after about 10-12 hours, but it was in a warmer with very good scent throw (Aloe Vera)

Yay, I’m so glad you commented!!! Yes, probably a difference in warmers but I totally got what you smelled later on! I had it in the Desert Bloom warmer!

Great warm review! I think a good video idea for the future, would be to go through vendor wax and see how they compare to Scentsy, longevity, price points, what companies are your go to, what scents they do best in etc. Especially for us folks that have never tried vendor wax and are wet behind the ears lol. I'm Canadian as well, so it would be nice to hear of other companies that are from our area, just so we're not paying an arm and a leg in US pricing or shipping. Not sure if your vendor wax is exclusively Canadian, or even how the pricing compares. Have a great rest of your day.

That’s a great idea! I will consider that. For Canadian vendor wax we’re pretty limited here in Canada - but I really like Canapa Candle and Ella After Wax Co! In my experience, vendor wax isn’t typically less costly than Scentsy - if anything it’s more costly especially after shipping. But the sky is the limit for scent variety!

This was a fun watch, thanks for the great reviews! I’m doing a club order for Beach D, Orchard BTS, maybe the Berry one, and then Blue CB - though I’m nervous about the Vanilla Waves note because I didn’t care for that bar. Now, what’s interesting is that Amy (Scents and Songs) reviewed that she picked up a very salty air note in Orchard BTC. The poor dear couldn’t tolerate it because it was so strong. I know noses are all different, but I wonder if it was because she got a pour from a different batch? 🧐

I wonder! There is a sea salt note to it for sure, and a definite coolness that may be another part of the sea air note. I really love that note in it but all noses are different!

Wildflower cotton is better when been sitting i got the bar when was released i wasnt fond of it and was going to give away. A year later i decided to try it wow so much different . But i have to be in the mood for it though not one i will reach for daily

Robyn, I have tall ceilings in an open concept. Are there any of the bricks that I could get a full day of a strong scent? I don't get the impression any of the bricks would fill my space. And, I don't like green type scents.

Full day of a STRONG scent? That would be Cuc and Cactus Water which you probably won’t like. For a solid medium you could try Orchard By the Sea and Summer Berry Melon!

For sure sweet pea with pink apple and nectarine!, I couldn’t put my finger on what scent I was smelling!

Will we be able to get the new bricks in club as a 1/2 price item?

Unfortunately, no! You can get the summer bricks in bar form through Club (and you could pick a bar as your half off item), but otherwise they will only be available through the website. They are eligible for host credits though if you host a party and get them half off that way!

Does Orchard by the Sea smell anything like Atlantic Air? Another Consultant made the comparison. I like the way you described the bar, however, I am not a fan of Atlantic Air.

I quite like Atlantic Air but don’t find them particularly similar. I find Orchard By the Sea much less aquatic, and none of that mineral note I get in Atlantic Air. But you do have to be okay with a bit of fresh/ocean scent for Orchard by the Sea.

Does Orchard By The Sea have any similarity to Mahalo Coconut? I love Mahalo Coconut bc the watery feel it gives ❤😊 how does it compare to Salted Bergamot Breeze? I have that in my club right now as my only “fresh” scent but Orchard By The Sea sounds like a fresh scent I might enjoy more!

I would say the two scents share a “coolness”, but OBTS doesn’t have any coconut - but if you like that cool watery note it might be worth a try! It does have a similar saltiness to Salted Bergamot Breeze (at least from what I remember on cold - that one wasn’t smellable on warm in my home at all, but I liked it on cold). It sounds like you should probably try Orchard By the Sea!

Beach Daisy is beautiful for a few hours but too soft for me. Orchard by the Sea is my favorite of the spring bricks its unique and not like most aquatic scents. I do wish it lasted longer than 18 hours. Pink Apple and Nectarine smells like perfume. There was a bar in the last BBMB that it reminds me of that everyone was gaga over but doesn't agree with me. Maybe someone can remember which bar it was.
