I really like watching this type of videos, I find them very interesting. The way of living and how much everything costs is so different from place to place. for example in order to get your nails done in Greece (the most basic way) it costs about 15€ but our salaries are quite low here too as well as rent etc, but generally speaking a lot of people in My country are having such a hard time financially. can't wait to see the new apartment furnished ❤

I live in Berlin/Germany and I was shocked, too. Getting some thai food here costs you about 5, 6 euros, for example. Totally interesting to see that price difference between the US and Europe.

For Seattle it seems low for a week. I was thinking maybe ball park 450 - 500 a week. but you seems to have a better control on spending money. Between myself and my wife. I think we are at 600 per week range in Houston. Houston used to be cheaper. not anymore

I’ve been curious to see a realistic what I spend in a week in Seattle and I feel like this is it!! I live in Tennessee (hate it tbh) and literally dream of moving there and I literally pay this much in bills a week here to live! Seriously considering the move in a year or so.

Be very careful and give it a long thought before u move from East Coast to Seattle. I did this several years back and it was very difficult as Seattle people DONT like outsiders and it’s very difficult to make friends and find work when ur not from Seattle. The weather is horrible and only nice weather during summer. Some friendly East Coast advice… best of luck and wishes wherever u go!

Living in the US is so expensive, no wonder poverty is through the roof there. I spend less than half the shown amount in Euros and our lifestyles are pretty similar, except I don't own a car and maybe eat in a bit more. Granted, the average US-citizen earns more than people do in Germany, but certainly not that much more (and, given the distribution of money in the US is even more unjust than over here and therefore the average is less telling of reality for most people, I suppose for many poorer people salaries are even comparable..). Thanks for the video though, very insightful! I would love an actual monthly budgeting kind of video without weekly fluctuations. But I guess it can be uncomfortable to share that kind of financial info online. happy belated birthday :)
