I am surprised that all the food was so cheap in taipei! In the US that breakfast alone would have been like $10. I feel like food is really cheap overseas compared to the US, like when I went on vacation to Portugal I also noticed that all the food was like half or a quarter of US prices. And it all tastes so good too!

I was in Taipei one time for a layover. We got there early morning on a Sunday and almost all the shops were still close. We walked around trying to find a good place to eat and ended up in one of those restaurants connected to train stations. The food was good though. Hopefully I can come back and actually explore Taipei for a few days.
