Seriously your breakdowns are leagues above most channels. Too many "breakdowns" are just a narration of the sequence of events and never get into WHY. You've given a lot of insight here.

That rear naked choke portion blew me away. I have Gordon’s back escape instructional, he taught keeping a high elbow to prevent them from being able to trap the arm, but I completely forgot about how much more structurally sound it is compared to a low elbow grip. Switching that to an offensive situation, obviously it makes sense to push the elbow down to weaken the structure before going for the kill. I love this sport. 🤯

This video altered my brain chemistry bc I’ve never had success with tripod passing, I watched this today and then had some of my best tripod passes ever. That small detail of the shin across the hips when working your way to mount is such a game changer too. This is why everything halts when a new LIMI video drops 😂

Rob Biernacki's style of "tripod passing" requires a lot less flexibility, but it is almost a completely different type of "tripod" passing. The "tripod" more like kneecut camp passing with a lot of head pressure under their chin to keep their back flat. I'd like to get a better feel for how the two versions of "tripod" passing compliment each other.
