What I Hate About This 2020 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

After about 1.5 months of ownership, I have a much better understanding of this car and stuff which drives me nuts. Here is my list.
Also, the Town Car is no longer being advertised on that dealership's site so they either sold it at the last advertised price of $5800 or to the auction block it went.

Omg what are you complaining about? All you have to do is leave the heat and defrost on before you turn the car off next time. The heat and the defrost will come on next time you remote start.

@vitaliy Kofman I have a 2020 fusion hybrid titanium and the first winter i had the same problem for the first week of ownership ''FIX''= Take off the eco you can put it back on when you get in the car.Go in your settings and put it to auto for the heat and rear defrost to come on for lower temps outside. I live in Canada and we have minus 30 sometimes i use the ford app from my phone and put the extended 15 mins for a total of 30 mins after its running for 20 mins my car is toasty heated seats come on steering wheel and like i said rear defrost and defog for the front hope that helps Cheers. Another tip after you use your remote start from the ford app make sure you start your car once from inside the car that way it won't say Battery saving mode activated and not let you start from the app until you do start one time from inside the car 👍 As for your phone the button above the one that mutes the sound on the right hand side of your steering wheel, Push that and say for example ''CALL DAVE '' It will call Dave if you have it saved as such on your phone.

Your Lincoln Town Car served you well and the cost of ownership was fairly low. The TC was rusting to a sure death but the Fusion is depreciating to a sure death, has already lost half of it's original cost. My TC was the best car I ever owned. I did enjoy the Ford Fusion I rented for one day from Hertz and was happy to return it. Chicago is rough on any car. There is no such thing as a luxury Ford Fusion. I do enjoy your videos.

I know you’re missing that Lincoln town car! You’re one of the reasons I bought mine and started doing KZread videos on it, as we already spoke about. My tip for the remote start and keeping the gas engine on is to leave your climate controls on as hot as possible and turned up. Usually hybrid vehicles will recognize when the heat is turned on inside the cab and will keep the gas engine running. Hope that helps

@@VitaliyKofman Awesome. I was leaning Camry but a 2020 Fusion Hybrid Energi popped up here with 55K mi on it, hoping to get off work in time to test drive it tomorrow (black SEL). The Energis are under recall but Ford is supposed to replace the battery packs this year or next so that's good. In the meantime will just drive as hybrid which is good. Will be way better getting 40MPG over the 17.5 in my vic lol.

If you want your car warm with the using remote start, try presesetting the climate control before you exit. If your climate can be preseset do that. The engine will activate based on throttle response and for systems that the battery alone can't support the gasoline engine will kick in to supplement and power systems that require additional juice. Try to see if that works out for you.

Well for what its worth, I don't see this video as tho you're "complaining"....I just bought the 2020 Fusion SE Hybrid, and I am happy to see the what and what nots about it...another owner's opinion. And i agree that altho they're not performance hindering , they're still enough to think about, in the grand scheme of things. Your video gives good information and insight as to what this vehicle may or may carry..(i know about upgrades & add-ons).. which is where im at right now..the dealer gave me the stats on a Ford Fusion SE .. NOT Hybrid....so im a bit po'ed! I just discovered this . I bought the car Saturday. It's a beautiful car, 26 k miles... Clean fax, nice... However.... Your mentioned the mirrors don't heat up. Not that's a problem for me. Only bc I've been told otherwise by not one , but two sets of stats pages for the Fusion SE. Also I'm supposed to have an anti theft alarm...my old fusion had it and there was an intermittent red light that served as a deterrent as far as I'm concerned. I don't see that, but again...i don't have the correct list of features...so i don't even know what i am suppose to have. According to the list, my car is AWD, has heated seats (which id c) heated mirrors and a buncha other stuff. I'm now a little bummed that I bought the remote starter and that is going to be installed... Now I'm thinking maybe it isn't even worth it if the car won't stay on.. Anyway, I love videos about items that I own, or going own in a few years😏... I find them very helpful, so thank you!

i have owned 2 ford fusion hybrids really they are not be cars my first one i had for 2 in a half years and put 50,000 miles on it and as it got older i gave it to a family memeber the ford fusion hybrid i have now i had for 6 months and put 19,000 miles on it and i love it they are not bad cars if you can get use to the things that the car has im going to tell you this its normal the car will keep the heat on its run by the electric motor the gas engine comes on to help the hybrid battery to charge and then when the battery is charged it will shut off but the heat will keep working until the hybrid battery charge goes down its all electric the gas engine is to keep the battery charged i did my research when i got my first ford fusion hybrid and thats how they run its normal

Its running as designedl even in moderate weather the engine does soetimes come on briefly...it's part of the 12v and EV battery charting system. In cold winter the engine comes on to speed up heating. True, MPG decreases in cold weather due to reduced battery function...normal. Othersise yu're nitpicking.

Most of these have nothing to do with the performance of the vehicle and are almost laughable that someone would complain about. If you don’t like that much about it then get a different car. Preference choices doesn’t mean it’s a bad vehicle or even bad features
