Not long had mine and really loving it - but lots of little gripes as you say. FYI, if you change from Road Mode to Sports Mode it will de-activate speed warnings and lane departure etc. It's the first thing I do once I start the car. I believe it still leaves the engine, gearbox, chassis etc in the default mode until you change them or hit an M button.

1) come on just grab the right key or even open it from your phone it’s not that hard 2) press the BC button and it’ll show you in the middle of the screen all the mileage you want since factory, trip, refueling. 3 & 4) although the door cards and wheels aren’t the best looking but it wll comes down to personal taste and you cannot expect absolute perfection from an entry level M car 5) it’s nice to have cool braces but come on, how many times are you gonna look under the hood in a month? I’d rather have a functional brace than a good looking one that’s less solid

Had mine for a few days now, turned off lane departure the first day in the settings and never had to worry about it again, that’s odd.

Is there some of that blue plastic protective film on the light up M2 in the seat? Seems like I've noticed several owners who haven't removed it if so and I wonder if there is a reason or if they've just missed taking it off?

Yes and on the door sills. I've left them on to protect them from scratching. My F87 comp still has them too.

I've got a 2020 M340i (that I've only owned for 6mths) but I am interested in the G87 M2..... though a MASSIVE deal breaker would be having to turn off the Lane Departure and Speed Warnings every time I get in the car. I can see you have the shortcut for the Lane Departure..... how hard is it to turn off the Speed warning? Cheers Don, Perth W.Australia (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland) 🙂

You can probably set it as a short cut too. You can also press m mode and put it in sport which gets rid of them both too.

Thing with the running in service is that you have to pay for it! You have to have it, it should be included with the price of the car!
