FAQ's
How do you afford to travel? - I now earn a full time living through creating these KZread videos, affiliate links, selling digital products and my clothing line. I used to simply just work any temporary job I could find to save up to travel! I budget the money I earn meticulously to reach my savings goals using www.backpackingbananas.com/pr...
Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

My Dad's family visited Canada for the first time, they said the same thing about Lake Huron -- that they couldn't believe that it was just a lake and not the ocean. Glad you had a wonderful time Christianne! <3

Also Christianne I don’t know if you remember my comment about finishing alevels but I’ve just come back from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and I had the BEST time, wouldn’t have happened without you giving me the confidence! Going to Croatia for a work in exchange for accommodation and food this Saturday hopefully for two months, I’m so excited. Love your content so so much!!

Probably info you will never use but growing up they taught us to remember the great lakes with the acronym ' H.O.M.E.S ' . lol. Might come in handy one day!

good choice on the poutine! A lot of fast food places have poutine, the key is to go to an actual restaurant that specializes in poutine, typically called a Poutinerie, they have the best ones.

I'm impressed you know all the great lakes and got to try Beavertails, poutine and Tim Hortons. True Canadian classics. The nutella beavertail here in Ottawa is the best! I hope you come back soon! :)

As someone from Quebec, I’m very harsh when it comes to our national dish, it’s easy for me to say when it’s not true poutine I can see it immediately. The fries were perfect, the gravy was not too light or too dark it was the right brown color and the cheese is actual salty cheese curds and most importantly not melted. I can say you can’t get better classic poutine than this, true respect on the name of the dish outside of the Quebec province is refreshing to see.

Haha the Canadian accent was so good. I'm a fellow female solo traveller who lives out on the west coast on Vancouver Island. I think you'd love it out here, amazing hiking and mild weather (same as England really!)
