What I Got from the Philippines for my Korean Friends 🇵🇭🇰🇷

Hey guys! All of my Korean friends are aware of the fact that I'm a Korean but Pinoy by heart. HAHA. So it's also like 'My Favorite Filipino Snacks' video! 🤣

7D Dried Mangoes are the best but they add sugar to get the perfect taste. Unlike some of the other brands that only rely on the mango's natural sweetness, which I prefer.

when i worked in KL, Malaysia, i saw dried mangoes in our office. i said to my colleagues,”who’s are these mangoes?”. they said, “it was given by a friend who went to the Philippines”. i said, “so how come no one isn’t eating it? it’s good”. they said they haven’t tried it yet. i said “can i have a pack?” (i knew it was good). they said “ok”. the next day, they said, “hey the mangoes were good and they’re from the Philippines”. i said, “i know” and blinked at them :) i worked in Malaysia for 5 years and sorely miss Philippine mangoes. by the way, you should try the “best mango in the Philippines, if not the world”. yes, it’s from the Philippines, but where? it’s the Guimaras mangoes. to go there, go to Ilo-Ilo, ride a boat to Guimaras Island and you will taste the best mangoe in your whole life! Guimaras is also well known for their fresh, cheap oysters dipped in their local vinegar !!!

8:12 Why don't cha make your own home made Chicken Inasal for your friends in korea so they can taste what chicken inasal. For Chicken Oil you just need to fry the chicken butt/fats or skin to the pan till the oil comes out at the low heat and wait until it turn golden brown then remove the chicken butt. Add garlic & atsuete seed to the pan. Stir until the color is fully incorporated. Remove from heat and strain the oil to remove the aromatic residues. Put into a container and set aside for later use. For Chicken Inasal, In a freezer bag or large bowl, combine chicken, lemongrass, salt, ground black pepper, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, lemon-lime soda, and lemon juice. Stir or shake the mixture until every ingredient is well incorporated. Marinade for 1 to 3 hours. In a bowl, combine margarine, chicken oil (atsuete oil), salt, and lemon juice then stir. Set aside. Grill the chicken while basting generous amount of the margarine mixture. Transfer the grilled chicken to a serving plate.

Hi jessica! Always watching here. Your pasalubong is the best! Bongbong is the best pasalubong u can give if u live or travel at bacolod. Dried mangoes are also good because it’s one of the best delicacies of Cebu. Pancit canton too and the piatos, that was also my favourite the purple one. All u bought are nice for a pasalubong to a friends and family.❤️ You are really a Filipino in mind, heart and soul. The best pasalubong is something that comes from the heart not the fancy one. The food that u also wanted them to try because its yummy and delicious.💕💕

Usually, we Filipinos when we go to other countries used to buy some chocolates and keychains for pasalubongs☺️ I suggest the next time when you visit PH, go to BAGUIO. It's cold up there and really nice. And try their famous strawberries and Ube Jam☺️

🤗 Jessica's grandma is also pretty! Yehey! I can anticipate that I can watch LIA on your future vlogs! How about SYLVIA? 😁 I'm excited for your collaboration again! I miss the Sylvia's big laugh with your dolphin laugh sound 😂
