Do not give up! I went through this last year for nearly 8 months with my daughter...it was traumatic & nearly shattered me with heartbreak. We were cut off from our little grandchildren as well. Anyways, finally a day came in which she allowed a letter exchange. My humble letter of love was accepted and healing began. The road to restoration of the relationship hasn't been easy but we are seeing our grandchildren once again and our daughter who is becoming more loving and understanding towards me is a wonderful miraculous treasure that my husband and I NEVER thought would happen again!

I went through this, too, with my eldest son for over a year. It was devastating, so I really wish you well. Be kind to yourself and know that, eventually, she will come back. The ties between parents and their children are too strong. Another thing that someone pointed out to me was that he must be very sure of my love for him to do this. So keep loving her and wishing the best for her. Sending you love and a big hug xoxox

I see a big difference in your whole being from when I started watching you several years ago. You have totally come into your own Susan. You haven’t just made a new life for yourself, you’ve made a great life for yourself. I love seeing you happy. I don’t think anyone deserves it more. Truly.

Love that movie! So important to not give up. I was crippled for 25 years with a neurological condition and the last five years was homebound, even a wheelchair was too painful. In 2018 I had three surgeries that solved my problem and I was able to walk again for almost a year. Then I fell and landed on my knee on a tile floor which put me back on crutches and living on my sofa again for the past nine months. Last week I started PT and to my surprise am improving quickly. I think I will walk again!!!!

I actually became a little depressed for a while.... too close for comfort, I think it was. Anyway, I know only too well how you feel. It takes so much effort to keep on keeping on. Chocolat” is an absolutely mystical and divine movie. One of my very favorites. It breaks the molds of old belief systems in the characters, so they better understand the world in which they live in, and the power of love. And if I could dress everyday like the main female character in this movie I would love it🙂 If you also ever come across the movie “ Like Water For Chocolate “ that is another mystical movie about love.

You are going to love that film “chocolate” 🍫. It is filmed in such a beautiful location and I have seen it multiple times. Johnny Depp does a great job and Catherine DeVeux is so beautiful. Susan you look so beautiful in this color, it makes your complexion look like peaches and cream just “STUNNING” How does everything you wear look just perfect 💞 Love the artwork you purchased, and what a great haul, my thrift store isn’t that great, I never see anything worth buying. One thing I miss is dressing rooms, I have such a hard time buying clothes without trying on, I am getting desperate, I even slipped a blouse over what I was wearing in front of a mirror in kohl’s, desperate times call for desperate measures. My brother and I were estranged for 17 years. He was angry after our mother passed and he said some terrible things and made some threats. We live far away from each other so I felt safe. Whenever I thought about him, I forgave him. Then one day he called and apologized. I told him I forgave him and now we talk often. Time is a gift of healing and reconciliation. See you next week.

Wow almost my story! Car accident tore family apart so did caregiving. My brother will not talk to me. I cared for him probably too much. Been a couple years. I can only hope... someday....

Many years ago I bought a box of polished rocks. When my grandkids got older they would come over and race to this box to dump out the rocks, hold them, marvel over the colors. It didn't matter that over the years they had seen these rocks a million times. Every time they dumped out that box, it was like the first time again. The kids are all grown now and they still talk about the box of rocks...😊❤

Sweetie you made me laugh as usual with your one in a million comments and of course I didn't see the girls comment with her son so when you told us, I immediately cried a bucket, knowing how I'd be if my son weren't in my life. Doesn't bear thinking about....whew!!! I'm so happy for her.... Lord I'm so crazy, I'd have probably gotten in the car with her to find him...yep, that's me... 😳...thank goodness we don't have to do it. Vases, paperweights, my mother’s obsession and she could spot them and still can. I can imagine the look you would have given if someone had got to those prints before you. As for the cafe in Paris, it will come. At the moment 150000 Brits have to leave France due to Covid restrictions on return home after yesterday’s deadline. I’m 73, an RN and working away from home. That’s very depressing but in the morning while I’m getting ready for work I watch you talk and it just sets the tone for my day and makes me smile. We’ve been through a lot of the same things so that makes me enjoy your comments even more. Pray for all of us old and young nurses and the people we care for through this crazy time. I just love going shopping with you Susan. Wish I could actually shop with you. We like the same things. I love home decor sections the best these days.Looking at what you picked out had me smiling. I love that, ooh love that! The rocks were so pretty, those painted glass vases I thought were beautiful. You mentioned that you love to look at the way the sun goes through them or lights them. That's why I fell in love with Tiffany style lamps. I have a few of those and I stare at them. I also have those black wooden signs like the one you held up. That love cross is something I might not wear either but I see it as something I'd hang on a shutter knob at the window. You could hang it from a dresser knob too. I bought a starfish Christmas ornament and instead used it this summer in the bathroom to hang from the knob on my white shutters! It looks perfect there.Your pictures are very nice as were the clothes you picked out. You look so pretty all the time. And great in hats! I have a little dog Desi reminds me of. He is a yorkie and his name is Sunny. We watch movies and tv shows together also. Every New Years Eve we watch the ball drop and then he kisses me. He is quite handsome. I really loved this vlog. The changes we are going through move us into different directions and I really think it helps us to grow, to find new joys and be able to share them with others.

Love will always find a way. Loved going to the Thrift store with you. We are so similar in taste of clothing, decorating, and mind set. So very grateful for my friend Mary telling me about you. I'm an older man who loves vintage homes, furnishings, radios, pop. music...my home was built in 1919 and is furnished in the 1920's style...the REAL WOOD [heavy oak] furnishings...not the flimsy junk of today! I'm glad to see so many women who love the older items and dress on youtube channels! The ladies of my generation were in the feminist movement and corporate ladder climbing...today, in my home town [SanFrancisco]...so many ladies are full of tattoos, piercings and orange hair...strange!!! Never could run across any person with my interests. Today hope springs eternal, if I ever meet a woman with your outlook...and look!!
