Curious as to why you don't feed frozen raw products. Or make your own? Or is that what you're changing to? Also, have you considered the iodine content of green lipped muscles and other products? I worry about hyperthyroidism. Look forward to your update. Thank you for promoting healthy - REAL - foods for our beloved little obligate carnivores. People tragically don't realize how critical it is! This change is long overdue.

❤your video I found on U tube. Can you give us names or links to some of the products you use. I'm trying to make her "bugout bag", a term peppers use, But with All the Floods, Earthquakes, Ect in Different States than Normal and different Times. Search Dr Becker videos on youtube as well. She tends more toward raw and fresh cooked human-grade meat plus the added nutrients - she explains why and how this type of food helps prevent certain common cat health issues. We're currently feeding Darwin's raw (lightly cooked because our cat prefers it lightly cooked). SO many types of feeding! So glad to hear that you're researching and experimenting. Good cat parent! :)

@@555tracy Thanks for the info! I'll have a look. For now I have little miss Dawn on lightly cooked wet food brands I've thoroughly researched and she's been doing very well on them. Eventually I want her to switch her over to raw, there's a commercial subscription service in my country I was considering but I want her to be a little older first!

As a vet assistant this amazes me soooo much!!!! You're such a good cat mom! Love the licky mats etc. and that you use high bowls! That's so much better for their digestive system. You did your research so well. I'm really happy that u did since you have expensive cats. I see a lot of ppl just basically giving their expensive af cats "cat mcdonalds" because it's cheap. But if you want a cat and especially an expensive cat, you should be able to take good care of them. I literally fell in love with you watching this video.

@laurence apitz they dont, but "expensive cats" tend to have more difficulties in life. Which means they need better care. You can't just let a ragdoll go around and feed them whatever. They will have health issues. Due to the long hair, smaller nose and other issues in their bodies. That's why i'm so happy to see someone take such good care of them and making sure they have an amazing life while making the possibilities on health issues small :)

It's a pleasure to know of others as interested in their pets' nutrition as my husband and I were for our beautiful boy, Tequila. He passed away almost a year ago and was healthy and active literally just 2 weeks before leaving us at almost 19 years of age. My husband, a chef, was determined to prepare him healthy organic meals; boiled organic chicken being a favorite. We also only served Tequila's meals in tall, wide bowls. I noticed your bowls were tall which is better for their digestion! Wide bowls help prevent whisker stress! It turns out small narrow bowls can be irritating! Keep up the good work. And oh... Yoshi in the bathtub - just too adorable!!!

rip Tequila.. xo My big ginger boy Bo passed quite suddenly, 2 months shy of 20. it's been 3 years and I"m still reeling.. I"ve got a couple more gingers now.. to love and feed and spend my time with. ^_^

You're a great mom. You don't take these beauties for granted. You don't know how touching and sweet this is to see how loved they are. I've wanted a kitten or cat for emotional support. But I need to be able to afford their care. And I'm not able to work. So I've put off me, bc I can not adopt one, that would be selfish & lonely. There have to be 2, that way, they have a playmate. But you're a blessing to each other, I'm glad they have you. 🎉❤

Ragdolls are such amazing cats, very social, large, fluffy, unique and recognizable colour patterns, they have it all

Wow you feed them really well that’s why they look so beautiful. I’m glad to see you don’t give them that junk food kibble ! 😻😻❤️❤️

over the years i have found certain foods that my kitties go absolutely nutty for, it is fresh clams in the shell steamed, fresh haddock (usually they want it raw!), fresh crab legs still in the shell steamed (obviously i de-shell it before giving it to kitties), fresh Maine wild shrimp (the little tasty shrimps), and many different seafoods often cause a reaction of near hysterics from the Cats as soon as the aroma fills the kitchen air they start screaming for it lol. This was always just a treat though and not part of their regular diet unless I happened to buy some seafood dried food for them. As well if I was roasted a whole chicken or a beef roast I would give them the gravy/juices which is one of their favorites and has a high content of super nutrients for their coat/health. Don't forget your sprouts/grasses for them to pick at occasionally for their tummy health. As well, a food grade diatomaceous earth will aid in numerous health benefits as well as parasite elimination throughout their whole body as well as externally! I as well could go on for hours as Feline health is one of my favorite topics too!

This is the most intricat diet that I've seen for cats - it seems well thought out and considerate of each of their dietary needs.

After watching this video I can see why your cats are so healthy looking. I've been thinking about changing my 2 girls' diet to healthier foods because I've never really been happy with what is sold in the grocery store. There's just too much added crap that I'm pretty sure isn't necessary. I can see I still have a quite a ways to go, but my babies are worth it. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything you use.

Some wet food I recommend to you because my cats have a quite similar diet to Eevee and Yoshi: - RAWZ - If your cats don't like pate texture, you can buy the pouches. My cats love this brand because they have novelty proteins like rabbit and they don't have gums or thickening agents - Weruva: I only feed them chicken-base types from this brand - Feline Natural: So high in protein and have various textures - Ziwi Peak: Awesome!

Oh! I forgot this - 🐧🐧 I put two, because I found it so fascinating, I had to watch it again!😅 Make more of these kitty tutorials please, they're so perfectly produced and interesting, like a grooming one. I'm very interested in seeing the entire process. TY! ❤

I thought I was good cat mom until now :"[ I use a fountain for their water which I clean and refresh daily. I put their food and water on a wire shelf so they don't have to bend down to eat or drink. I too rotate their food but nothing compared to what you do. I am going to step up my game!!! I hope to be as good a cat mom as you one day.

Treat puzzles and licky mats!!! Those rock! Looks like we have similar feeding programmes. We have 5 cats ranging from a big (21 lbs) female Norwegian Forest Cat, a pair of Siamese sisters to a tortie and cream to a small tuxedo that if he's sitting in a loaf position or a curled up he looks like he's an all black little void. For another portion source we use turkey. We get a lot of stuff from Smalls, Chewy and our local pet store. Lone Star is great. 4/5 love it and the 5th will kill you for it. Yah, when we cook chicken, we cook another one for the clowder. The skin and bones end up in the stock pot. We also add some of that plain stock to some meals along with the water. And we have fountains. You are right, the key to eliminating pickiness is variety. Some people have told us that we are doing too much for them, but they always have clean bowls and are happy and healthy. And that is what is important. Thanks for putting this up. To quote our Siamese sisters, "BLOOD SPRINKLES!!!!!!"🐱🐱🐱🐈🐈🐈🐧🐧🐧
