Wow! I have 49 dreads on my head with ALL my hair. Mine did not hurt, I left ½ inch from my root becuz I didn't want my hair to get pulled out from the tightness of the dreads. You don't have to dread all the way to the root, which is why your scalp gets tender n hurts. Love how you got your natural hair done first then added extensions, how it should be done if you want to start with longer dreads🙂

Looking to get dreads done next month my hair colour is similar to yours and I love the look of dreads with ginger hair I’ve tried out synthetic just to see if it would suit me or not and now I think I’m going to go permanent. Only thing is I’m overthinking and been watching KZread vid of people who have had dreads falling out 🤦🏼‍♀️ lol don’t know why I do it to myself but I keep looking at your hair and it’s just so pretty xx

Kirsti I'm sure I can answer a big yes to that and Elise would agree!! She and I have very similar hair, from texture, color, and dread style. I'm not sure on her length, but mine fall just above my rearend which makes them about 36" now and about the diameter of a sharpie marker. Although, I have 67 and about to finish dreading some loose hairs that will make 2 more...when wet they are quite heavy, but you learn to acclimate to it. Have a great day.

In what pattern do you do your dreadlock sections. Example diamond, random, brick, fan...

How do you wash your hair?😂 Also, this is not a hate comment, but my opinion is that I prefer you without dreadlocks. I think you have beautiful hair but it's your choice what are you going to do with them. I am just saying my opinion. However, I looove your channel! Your videos are amazing!

Elise has made a couple of videos on her hair care routine if you're interested in checking it out! She washes just like normal really, the only difference is in the drying and products after to keep them nice. She uses a few products to help her scalp and to keep the dreads looking nice! They just take forever to dry haha.

What’s wrong with that? I am wearing lipstick but no mascara right now myself. That is how makeup was worn in the 40’s as well, especially during WWII.
