3:56 this dessert is actually brazilian! it's called "palha italiana" and it was created in the south of brazil back in the 19th century. the mix of butter, condensed milk and cocoa power is also another brazilian dessert called "brigadeiro" and it's most definitely the most popular dessert we have. love ur videos

We in lithuania have it as well! I didnt even know it originated from Brazil, but we lithuanians think its our own 😄🫣 We call it The lazy cake 🤍

It's obviously of European origin if it has Italiana in the name, so whomever immigrated to Brazil brought the recipe and made it there but with local grown ingredients.

In Germany it is called "Kalter Hund" (amongst many other names) There are similar versions in Italy, Denmark, Norway etc. There are published recipes from 1810 that describe different versions of it. It's probably one of the things of we will never know it's true origin, like hummus or falafel

My inner child is crying rn because I never got to learn & bond w my mother through cooking. I literally tear up whenever my best friends mom serves me a plate lmaooo. A mothers cooking is so special and a lot of people take that for granted . Watching your mama cook made me emotional I cried lmaooo. Hopefully one day in the future IF I ever have kids they’ll always have a home cooked meal from me. I definitely need to improve but I think I got most of the basics down lol. I need to learn how to make tortillas tho 😅

We actually have a version of the desert you made here in Germany, too! It's layered crackers and chocolate cream which are then refrigerated overnight. When you cut into it, the slices look like little brick walls because of the layering. The dish is called "kalter Hund" or cold dog, but don't ask me why 😂. Anyways, I'm always happy to see a new upload - greetings from Germany! 🥰

the first dessert is similar to a Slavic dessert I make with my grandma and mom its cookies in melted chocolate formed into a sausage/salami and its called "Шоколадная Колбаса" / Shokoladnaya Kolbasa and it's really good I love eating it for dessert and pretending its real salami :)

This is my first video of yours that I watch and I enjoyed it :) if you haven’t already you should try carlota de limon (Mexican icebox cake) the Lithuanian dessert reminded me of it a little bit, except instead of chocolate they’re lime flavored with the sweet and condensed milk :)

Welcome to the family 😊 I don’t count calories but I also try to not whatever I want, I love sweats and sugar but I definitely have to limit my self (but never restrict) only because it doesn’t make me feel good after and gives me chest pain lol I try to focus on just listening to my body and what makes me feel good
